Pilot Acted Strangely Before Russian Jet Crash

He ascended when he was supposed to be descending. He went left when he was supposed to go right.

I wonder what his name was.

Get the details at the Baltimore Sun.

Anonymouse comments:

Three quotes from the linked article:

"When he asked the pilot whether things were normal on board, the pilot answered positively but his voice was strained as if under stress, Bikbov said."

and

"The problem isn't the planes, it's mainly about the staff and money," said Miroslav Boichuk, head of Russia's Flight Personnel Union."

Stressed pilot would indicate he may have been threatened.

It's mainly about 'staff' and money . . .

"staff" would indicate the threat could have been from another employee on the plane?

About money?

Ahem . . .

"Aeroflot said it would pay victims' families an equivalent of US$80,000 in compensation per victim -- a princely sum in a country where the average monthly salary is equivalent to about US$700.

Even before investigation is complete, officials have a settlement? Hmmmmm.

The settlement must be done quickly. It's the 'don't sue us!' money.

I once almost ate a piece of glass in a Pizza Hut - it was in one of the side dishes. Within minutes of my complaining the manager was out, getting me to sign away my rights to sue in exchange for a free meal for my entire party.

I'm too lazy to go to court, so I agreed. Yay, free food!

There are jihadomaniacs who desire to attack Russia. This could be a hijacking. But that's just my gut reaction.

Bottom line: we won't know if it was indeed a jihadist hijacking.

Yeah, we have no idea what is going on here.

I put it up because the suspicious circumstances indicate it could be Jihadi terrorism.

By the way, the phrase Jihadi terrorism is redundant.

"Smite them about the necks. Strike terror into their hearts."
