Storm Track Appeasement: US Detention Has Its Pluses

Weasel Zippers did an accurate congruence of the behavior of the American Criminal Liberties Union – the ACLU.

On the one hand, the ACLU is all in a tizzy over the U.S. military holding about 500 juveniles suspected of being "unlawful enemy combatants" in detention centers in Iraq while on the other, detainees in Iraq are refusing to leave there cushy surroundings.

So, I wonder what the ACLU is bitchin’ about?

An Open Letter To Charles Enderlin and France2

Thank You Charles Enderlin and France2-

We have to admit we were angry with you for libeling Israel that we wanted to get you to take it back. It wasn’t just anger. We wanted to make it impossible for you to ever release such a tidal wave of violence and blood on us again.

After the disastrous aftermath of your al Durah report, so many people suffered and died, we have come to think of you more as a war criminal than just an unethical journalist. Really, we do not feel that you deserve to be thought of as an honorable journalist. Fortunately for us your character flaws have relieved us of the responsibility to attack you.

If you had ignored our criticism, let the whole thing drop and not sued anyone you would still be on top of the world today and Israel and the Jewish people would still be blackened by your libel.

Your restless guilt and vanity would not let you do the smart thing, though, and you sued Philipe Karsenty. Only those blinded by self-importance and its underlying insecurity, on the one hand, and driven by a need to deny fault on the other, would have felt the need.

So you showed your weakness and hubris just by filing the suit. Even more important though, from your law suit flowed the healing drama in the French courtroom in March. First, you demeaned yourself by bringing obviously altered tape into evidence into the courtroom. Then you further revealed your self delusion by pretending not to notice the derisive laughter of the gallery or that even the judge who was questioning you was treating you and your evasive explanations with amused disdain.

Now that the judgment is published, Charles, we are very pleased to see that you are going to do your best to help us to help you to complete your self-destruction by taking it to a higher court.

We never had the stomach for the dirty fight you are waging we do not like to destroy other people- no matter how richly deserved. We, therefore are especially grateful to you that you have not had the moral fiber to resist you darker instincts and have thereby undertaken to do the job yourself.

We are not character assassins- but we are enjoying immensely watching your character commit a spectacularly public suicide.

Fifth Column Muslim Police Officer Must Remain On Payroll After Disrupting Terror Investigation

From Pipeline News:

May 14, 2008 - San Francisco, CA -

PipeLineNews.org - Fairfax, VA police officer Sgt. Weiss Rasool - who was sentenced to 2 years probation in federal court on April 22, having plead guilty to unauthorized access to the Violent Crime and Terrorist Offender File, maintained as part of the National Crime Information Center system – unbelievably continues to work for the department, pending an internal review of his case.

Rasool checked the databases to help the target of a federal terror investigation - who knew him, belonging to the same mosque as Rasool - and left a voice mail message tipping the suspect off that he was under surveillance by the FBI and being followed by undercover vehicles.

The target was apprehended in November 2005 and deported, his identity and the charges involved have so far not been disclosed. At the time of his arrest, he and his family were fully dressed and busily engaged in destruction of evidence at 6 in the morning, suggesting that they had been tipped off.

During the investigation, Rasool was given a lie-detector test with which it was determined that he "was not fully compliant" because of his evasiveness. As a result, law enforcement does “not believe that he has been truthful."

The court’s statement upon Rasool’s sentencing included:

“The defendant, through his experience with the police, had a basis to believe
that the leasing company was used for federal law enforcement vehicles, but
despite that, relayed the information to the individual. The defendant also
checked his name and other names multiple times in NCIC without a legitimate law
enforcement purpose to do so and to see if he or others he was acquainted with
were listed on the Terrorist Watch List. The defendant's actions damaged the
integrity of the NCIC system and jeopardized at least one federal investigation.
The defendant's actions could have placed federal agents in danger. The FBI has
had to undo the harm caused by the defendant."
Beyond the obvious damage resulting from Rasool’s efforts to aid a national security deportee, his work as a “jihadi in blue” did not end there.

According to the Investigative Project, Rasool acting with another officer from a neighboring police department, who represented himself as being with the Council on American Islamic Relations [CAIR, a Hamas friendly Muslim pressure group, funded by the Saudis and named as a co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror prosecution] were successful in stopping a long-standing and popular anti-terrorism training program at the Fairfax police department and an associated police academy.

In a letter to Fairfax Chief of Police, David M. Rohrer, from Dr. Peter Leitner, president of the Higgins Center for Counter Terrorism Research he noted:

”For several years, the Higgins Counterterrorism Research Center was a provider of a series of training courses related to Terrorism, Intelligence, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Source Development, etc. We always enjoyed very high ratings from the Department and external personnel who attended our training sessions. We trained many hundreds of your personnel without a hitch until a complaint was filed by Sergeant Weiss Rasool, a Muslim. Sergeant Rasool maliciously accused my organization of being inaccurate, unfair, and meanspirited in how we portrayed Islam. In conversations with Rasool he admitted to not having studied the Koran or other Islamic doctrine and texts. That did not deter him from accusing us of unfairly portraying Islam.”

Not surprisingly, in 2006 Rohrer, in full dhimmi mode delivered a groveling speech at a CAIR benefit event:

“As we go forward, let us choose to make a difference and embrace a vision of
peace and unity and hope. And let us choose for us and our children hope over
fear, caring over indifference, tolerance over intolerance, acceptance over
prejudice, and understanding over ignorance.

It shouldn't be revelatory that Corey Saylor, CAIR’s Governmental Affairs Coordinator urged Rasools trial judge to show leniency in sentencing, writing to the court, "I have always found Sgt. Rasool eager to promote a substantive relationship between the Fairfax County Police Department and the local Muslim community. His efforts played a significant role in improving trust in a time when mutual misunderstanding could easily severe (sic) all positive ties between these two groups."

Yes, “a significant role in improving trust,” never mind Rasool’s aiding a now deported national security threat and false allegations against a company providing obviously much needed anti-terror training to the department.

Rasool’s actions in this case are illustrative, as are those of Fairfax PD’s dhimmi Chief of Police Rohrer.

Rasool’s presence on the police force, even after his conviction demonstrates the fallacy of involving politicized Muslims at any level in law enforcement.

In the current atmosphere of perverse diversity considerations, where value judgments are verboten by decree, fifth column jihadists feel free to practice their deception with impunity, with resultant damage to the ability of the nation to defend itself.

Rasool’s boss Mr. Rohrer is also too typical, a political hack willing to ignore the threat within his own department while breaking bread with an organization that refuses to condemn Hamas, all to secure short term advantage.

In a larger sense this case bears significantly on the new Islamist paradigm, jihad through interfaith dialogue, because the same level of deception underlies both. Until the public becomes sufficiently aware of the nature of this process, the enemies of the West will continue to use America’s liberties to sabotage it from within.

But the biggest shock of the day ..Saudi clerics ignoring directives to attack Al Qaida theology !

What brainiac could possible be shocked by this....it seems as if the Al Saud's tepid urgings for imams to decry and de-authorize Al Qaida Qutbite theologically based jihad are going unnoticed.

Saudi clerics ignoring directives on Al Qaida

ABU DHABI -- Saudi officials said the thousands of government-financed mosque preachers have not responded to directives by the government to attack Al Qaida doctrine and methods.

The officials said the preachers have avoided any reference to Islamic insurgency and extremist doctrine.

Saudi men released from the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, as well as from prisons in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, listening to a Muslim cleric at rehabilitation center north of Riyadh. HassanAmmar/AFP/Getty
"Preachers only speak about the need to shun misguided ideologies and terrorism when they receive instructions from the ministry," Islamic Affairs Minister Saleh Al Sheik said.

I wonder why?

It was the first time a senior Saudi official acknowledged that government preachers were not trying to stop the spread of Al Qaida in the Arab kingdom.

For the last two years, the Saudi government insisted that the clergy was speaking out against Al Qaida doctrine and trying to stop recruitment.

"They do not discuss the subject until another instruction is issued," Al Sheik said. "This is not the right method. A preacher should know that it is his religious duty to speak out against terror and misguided ideologies as he is aware of what Islamic law says on the matter."

Maybe they just disagree with that conclusion
as I have a feeling YOU MIGHT JUST
Mr. Direct descendant of Wahab

Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for arrow_thru_head2.jpg

Saudi Arabia has announced several programs to block Al Qaida recruitment. They included the rehabilitation of Al Qaida prisoners as well as the establishment of an institute to train what officials termed "moderate preachers."

"The graduates of the institute are known for being moderate and their ability to influence people," Mustafa Makhdoum, who oversees the institute, said. "They warn people of the dangers of extremist and misguided ideologies.

The institute provides two-week courses for preachers. The courses include Islamic doctrine, computer skills and psychology.

About 55 mosque personnel as well as members of the controversial religious police have attended the course.

But officials acknowledged that employing these newly-trained preachers would be difficult.

"Preachers should be spurred by their conscience and act with a sense of responsibility without waiting for a circular from the ministry to discuss the issue," Al Sheik said. "When a preacher believes in what he is saying and is in the need of uprooting extremist ideologies his words will be sincere and strongly influence the people."

I think this article truly emphasizes the REAL ISSUE.

It's all lip service to quiet the kufr.

Of course, I'm sure somewhere out there, there is presidential candidate who thinks this is tiny compared to the USSR as well, and should be regarded as a nuisance.

McCain was RIGHT about Al Qaida and Iran..NOT a mistatement

Iran harboring, training selected Al Qaida commanders

BAGHDAD -- Iraqi officials said the Teheran regime was harboring more than 100 Al Qaida senior operatives as part of an effort to destabilize Iraq.

Despite tensions with top Al Qaida leaders, they said Iran provides training, funding and medical treatment to Al Qaida fighters loyal to Teheran.

In other words, they have established what to them are rational priorities, and all acknowledge WHO the main enemy is

Iraqi soldiers walk past ammunition and arms on display which were captured from Shiite Muslim militants in the southern Iraqi city of Basra on May 04. (/File) AFP
"We have information about other terror groups such as Ansar Al Islam and Ansar Al Sunna that cross the borders between Iran, Iraq and Kurdistan that have contacts with these leaders," Iraqi National Security Adviser Muwafaq Al Rubei said.

Iraq's assertion was voiced amid Al Qaida criticism of Iran.

Al Qaida's No. 2 Ayman Zawahiri has accused Teheran of undermining the Islamic insurgency movement and denying Al Qaida's air suicide strikes in the United States in 2001.

"The purpose of this lie is clear that there are no heroes among the Sunnis who can hurt America as no-one else did in history," Zawahiri said.

But Al Rubei, reflecting what he said was intelligence assessments, said Teheran was harboring at least 100 Al Qaida members. He said many of the operatives stemmed from Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

"In Iran, there are many members of the terrorist organization, that come from Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, North Africa or Yemen," Al Rubei said in a series of interviews to the London-based media in late April.

Officials said some of the Al Qaida operatives were in Iranian custody. But they said others were allowed to communicate and plan attacks in Iraq.

No doubt those like Mr. Olberman would claim that for Mr. Bush, this would only be in Afghanistan.

White Sands tests for anti-IED energy weapons

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Army has been testing and evaluating new directed energy weapons at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.

The systems undergoing tests at the Joint Directed Energy Test Site use microwaves, lasers and electricity bolts to disable or destroy IEDs.

Officials said the army has deemed a priority the development of an anti-IED system for the military in Iraq. The program has been overseen by the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command.

"Every one of these systems that we test that gets out in theater will hopefully counter these devices," Brad King, project director for JDETS development, said.

IEDs have been responsible for about 70 percent of U.S. military casualties in Iraq. Over the last two years, the army has focused research and development efforts in producing a system that could identify and disable IEDs.

A key problem with existing counter-IED systems, officials said, is that they often disrupt other electrical systems in the area. These systems are omni-directional and hamper communications required for the protection of patrols and convoys.

In contrast, officials said, directed-energy weapons can disable or destroy IEDs without disrupting nearby systems, services or utilities. They said the army has ordered the completion of tests of some of the systems in as few as 30 days.

"They want us to execute as quickly as we can, for obvious reasons," King, with the System Engineering Development Directorate, said. "It's a dynamic environment. The insurgents are pretty innovative about the things they are trying to do to kill people or to make [IEDs] more effective."

Another concept was to use energy-directed weapons from helicopters to neutralize IEDs. Officials said the army was constructing mock urban areas meant to replicate villages and towns in Afghanistan and Iraq.

"Unfortunately we think this is going to be a growth industry, we think there are IEDs being put in place in a lot of places," King said. "We're trying to emulate some of the conditions and some of the structures that might be seen in theater."

MENSA DUH of the Day -Counterterror chief: U.S. still lacks counter-ideology to Islamist extremism

The U.S. government has yet to develop a strategic counter-ideology to Islamist extremism, the nominee to head the National Counterterrorism Center revealed last week.

Excuse me while I yawn....gee, ya think?

Thumbnail image for madinan way.jpg

Critics say the U.S. government has failed to understand the military and strategic threat posed by Islamist extremism, an important first step in developing a counter-ideology.

I get that twisty feeling in my stomach when I read that. Been writing and saying that for

YEARS and been regarded as a lunatic, I'm sure that's true of most reading this.

Michael Leiter, the nominee for NCTC director, told the Senate Intelligence Committee May 6, that analysts are "looking at radicalization from a number of angles," including religious, ethnic and psychological.

"And these are all critical elements of understanding the process of radicalization and then designing strategies," he said.

Strategies? We are looking for strategies to CONVINCE those fighting in the way of Allah to do otherwise? Get an authoritative mullah or Sheikh? Oh, can't find one? Let's ask Tantawi, ok? What's your strategy for that?

However, in terms of coordination and strategic planning, "those are far more nascent," Leiter said.

"And I think that, if confirmed, I would view it as my number one strategic planning priority to forcefully coordinate and synchronize U.S. government efforts," he said.

What the hell does that mean?

Leiter said progress has been made in coordinating government "messaging" (x-lation..they now use IM) as well as foreign aide, private investment overseas and other efforts to "to counter the spread of the ideology which contributes to terrorism."

That would be interesting to see - "other efforts to counter the spread of the ideology which contributes to terrorism." All we have to do is refute 1400 years of theory and jurisprudence over there, no problemo.

Leiter said the funding of terrorism from Saudi Arabia is "very serious" despite Saudi government efforts to disrupt Al Qaida on the Arabian peninsula.

Leiter said a "significant percentage" of intelligence used by his agency is gathering by "signals intercepts."

"That is a significant portion of what we look at to understand terrorists' plans, intent and the like," he said.

X-lation....after 7 years, we have NO ONE ON THE INSIDE. Anyone shocked? They have no comprehension of what they are fighting.

UK: Exeter Bombing Suspect Was Islam Convert

From In The News:

A man arrested in connection with an explosion at a restaurant in Exeter was a recent convert to Islam and may have been radicalised, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall police said Nick Reilly, 22, who was arrested at the scene at the city's Giraffe restaurant, was a vulnerable individual with a history of mental illness.

He is currently in police custody being treated for non-life threatening but serious facial wounds sustained in the blast. "Our investigation so far indicates [Mr] Reilly, who has a history of mental illness, had adopted the Islamic faith," Deputy Chief Constable Tony Melville told a news conference.

"We believe despite his weak and vulnerable illness he was preyed upon, radicalised and taken advantage of." Police were first called to the restaurant in the Princesshay shopping centre at 12:50 BST following reports of an explosion.

Eyewitnesses described seeing a man entering a toilet on the premises shortly before the blast. Two explosive devices were found at the scene, with one being detonated and the other made safe by bomb disposal experts.

Following the arrest, armed police officers took part in a search at an address linked to Mr Reilly in King Street.

The force has released a CCTV image of Mr Reilly to help build up a picture of his movements on Thursday

Happy 4th Birthday To One Of My Favorite Blogs

The Iraq War Was Wrong Blog

Ya' gotta be some kind of genius to have kept that up for so long.

Long live the wrong Iraq War, which was wrong, or whatever.

Anyway, as a tribute, I have composed a Haiku. It goes a little something like this:

The Iraq War Was
Wrong - The Iraq War Was Wrong
That's what it was - wrong!

It's kind of a Blues Haiku (repeating the first line twice, before resolving in the third line).

I took some liberty's with the metre (fr.). Hope nobody mind'd to much.

The boiled frogs of planet earth

Sometimes we are presented with a continuously shifted sense of reality.
We feel the Rod Serling moments of 'something is wrong'.

We know it, but cannot see the evidence .. and we dare not voice it because it is too unbelievable.

And so to the case of Mohammad Al Durah, and the coverage of his 'murder', and the coverage of the coverage, then the Dreyfus circus of France 2, and the incredible Mr. Karsenty.

Today a French court ruled that I did not defame France 2 when I said that its news report was a staged hoax. Because I refused to be brainwashed, I was sued for defamation.

Our victory today was a victory for freedom -- the freedom to think and to speak one's mind; the freedom to question what one is told; and the freedom to disbelieve the solemn pronouncements of others when the individual concludes that his reasoning is correct and that the state and the state-run media -- and all of the institutions they represent -- are wrong.

The al-Dura lie is an assault on our ability to think, to criticize, to evaluate, and finally to reject information -- especially the right to reject information on which we base our most cherished assumptions. One of Europe's most cherished assumptions is that Israel is a vicious Nazi-like entity that deliberately murders Palestinian Arab children. Moreover, polls conducted in Europe have identified Israel as the greatest threat to world peace, greater than Iran and North Korea, Pakistan and Syria. The al-Dura hoax is one of the pillars on which these assumptions rely.

I congratulate this man on a great victory, but the big story is no story.

Search on Karsenty...
Fox News NOTHING. Not even on the web site. Talal's money?
MSNBC - the last story is 9/2007
CNN's search points outward only to CAMERA and those like us.

Yet when this monumental hoax was perpetrated, this world ran to believe the jews were murderers. The media ran to publish that the state of Israel practiced child murder via its army. France 2, in possession of some shred of truth, suppressed it in a formless agreement in purpose with the actual mass murderers of the levant.

Those are the stories of the Al Durah hoax.

The press REJOICED to show the jewish killers, no better than those who murdered them. The world felt lighter to the masses to find this falsity true in deadly silent relief?

And HAMAS, FATAH, and the salafist and khomeinist murderers on this planet knew success in their racist formative document.

There is no publicity over this shame. Not in the industry whose existence is to bring us the 'reality' of this world, and not anywhere in this world.

What we knew was wrong was the way the world treated this. The way the press ran to cover it.

Do we as humans feel triumph in such denigration even when we know it demeans every one of us? Does the world despise the jews so much as to take silent pleasure in the lie, and thus ensure silence for the truth?

According to public relations of the above mentioned Students Movement, the timing of the conference is adjusted to coincide with the sad 60th anniversary of Palestine's occupation by the Zionists.

The guests of the conference that would be attended by Iranian and foreign students of universities in Tehran will be intellectuals and university professors from Egypt, Venezuela, Morocco, Lebanon, Indonesia, the United States, Pakistan, Argentina, India, Iraq, Syria, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, France, Tunisia, and a number of other countries.

Supporting the Palestinian nation's righteous liberation movement and signs of the illegitimate Zionist regime's upcoming downfall are among the axes of the international conference.

European Court agrees to hear chimp's plea for human rights

His name is Matthew, he is 26 years old, and his supporters hope to take his case to the European Court of Human Rights.

But he won't be able to give evidence on his own behalf - since he is a chimpanzee. Animal rights activists led by British teacher Paula Stibbe are fighting to have Matthew legally declared a 'person' so she can be appointed as his guardian if the bankrupt animal sanctuary where he lives in Vienna is forced to close.

An anonymous businessman has offered a substantial amount to cover his care, but under Austrian law only humans are entitled to have guardians.

Enlarge chimp

Test case: Hiasl, a 26-year-old male chimpanzee looks through the glass at his enclosure at an animal sanctuary in Voesendorf, south of Vienna

The country's supreme court has upheld a lower court ruling which rejected the activists' request to have a trustee appointed for Matthew.

So now 36-year-old Miss Stibbe and the Vienna-based Association Against Animal Factories have filed an appeal with the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

The insists that the chimp needs legal standing so a guardian can be appointed to look out for his interests - especially if the sanctuary shuts down.

Miss Stibbe, who is from Brighton but has lived in Vienna for several years, says she is not trying to get the chimp declared a human, just a person.

'Everybody who knows him personally will see him as a person,' she said.

'In his home in the African jungle, he would have been well able to look after himself without a guardian.

But since he was abducted into an alien environment, traumatised and locked up in an enclosure, it did become necessary for me to act on his behalf to secure the donation money for him and to avoid his deportation.

'Since he has no close relatives, I am doing this as the person closest to him.'

Enlarge chimp

Claim: English woman Paula Stibbe who is hoping to adopt chimpanzee Hiasl (Matthew), and thus have him recognised as a human being with human rights

The legal wrangle began in February 2007, when the sanctuary where Matthew lives with another chimp, Rosi, plus a crocodile filed for bankruptcy protection.

Activists want to ensure the apes do not wind up homeless. Both were captured as babies in Sierra Leone in 1982 and smuggled to Austria for use in pharmaceutical experiments.

Customs officers intercepted the shipment and turned the chimps over to the shelter. Their upkeep costs £4,000 a month.

Donors have offered to help, but under Austrian law, only a human can receive personal gifts.

Organisers could set up a foundation to collect cash for Matthew, whose life expectancy in captivity is about 60 years.

But they argue that only personhood would ensure he is not sold to someone outside Austria, where he is protected by strict animal cruelty laws.

In dismissing the activists' request to get a guardian for Matthew, a lower court ruled that the chimp was neither mentally impaired nor in danger - the legal grounds required for a guardian to be appointed.

It did not directly address the issue of whether a chimpanzee can be considered a person.

Eberhart Theuer, the animal rights group's chief legal adviser, said there is a legal precedent to appoint a guardian for an individual incapable of expressing himself.

'As long as Matthew is not recognised as a person, he could be sold abroad or killed for economic reasons,' Theuer said.

'His life depends on this decision. This case is about the fundamental question: Who is the bearer of human rights? Who is a person according to the European Human Rights Charter?'

A spokesman for the court in Strasbourg said: 'Any application regarding this chimpanzee will be considered at a primary level by a magistrate and a lawyer before we decide whether it deserves a full-blown hearing.'

Meanwhile somewhere in the hijaz some human is getting chopped for looking at the new testament?

Maybe we should invade with monkees ..after all, if they have rights, they have responsibilities. Monkess can take over Saudi Arabia, and rule.

UK - Exeter Bombing Suspect Is "Suspected Islamic Extremist"

From the Telegraph:

The man suffered cuts to his eye and facial burns in the attack when his device went off in the toilets of the restaurant in the brand new, £230m Princesshay centre.

Police sources believe the man was arming a bomb when it partially exploded in his face. He then tried to detonate a second device in the crowded street outside the restaurant.

Bomb disposal teams have recovered canisters of a sodium-based homemade explosive, it is understood, and there were reports that nails may have been part of the devices.

Police sources told The Daily Telegraph the man is a white male, aged 22, from the South West and is thought to be a convert to Islam.

A team from the Counter-terrorism Command at Scotland Yard was travelling to the scene last night as investigations continued.

Devon and Cornwall chief constable Stephen Otter said that a second device was found near the restaurant but refused to comment on a possible motive.

He said: “There were two devices, one on the café and one nearby. We do not know precisely how bad it could have been if they had gone off but it would have been quite serious.

“That is why we are treating this as a serious incident and investigating it quite thoroughly. In terms of motive we will look at all possibilities.”

Islamic President Will Kill Every Homosexual In Gambia

He's trying to make the country a better place, damn it.

From Atlas Shrugs:

President plans to kill off every single homosexual Gambian

President Yahya Jammeh says he will “cut off the head” of any homosexual caught in his country. Afrik.com hat tip babs

Jammeh also ordered any hotel or motel housing homosexuals to close down, adding that owners of such facilities would also be in trouble.

He said the Gambia was a country of believers, indicating that no sinful and immoral act as homosexual would be tolerated in the country.

He warned all homosexuals in the country to leave, noting that a legislation “stricter than those in Iran ” concerning the vice would be introduced soon.

President Jammeh said he was bent on making the Gambia one of the best countries to live in, adding that his government had spent over US$ 100 million towards the development of the country since 1994.

We can see that lesbian talk show-host Ellen DeGeneres is brave, after the way she talked to John McCain yesterday. I wonder what she'll have to say about this.

Breaking New From The UK: Nail Bomb Attack At Exeter Mall

UPDATE: Reports are that two additional devices have been found in the area.
A nail bomb, and multiple devices. This looks like the work of Muslim terrorists to me.
The article below indicates it could be animal rights activists.
Following up on the post below, This is London is reporting there was a nail bomb suicide bomb attack at a mall in Exeter this morning:

A restaurant customer has been injured in a suspected nail bomb attack on a city centre restaurant.

The exploded shortly after a man entered the Giraffe Restaurant in the Princesshay shopping centre in Exeter, Devon.

The customer was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and the area has been sealed off by police.

They are trying to find out what sort of device caused the explosion and whether there are any others still live.

Forensic experts have been called to the scene and a Royal Navy bomb disposal team from Plymouth are on stand by.

The device is thought to be a home made nail or letter bomb which may have exploded while being assembled or primed in the toilets of the restaurant.
Another diner, who would only be identified as Trudy, said: "It was definitely an explosion, it sounded like the lights were exploding.

"There was a lot of glass. I think it came from the toilet.

"There was concern, I wouldn't say there was panic, everyone got up and the staff were very good getting everyone out."

The blasts happened at 12.50pm as the diner - which specialises in South American, Spanish and African food - filled with shoppers and office workers having lunch.Witness Margaret Sellars, 63, said: "Police have set up a cordon around the Princesshay shopping centre.

"I asked an officer what was going on and he said a nail bomb had gone off in one of the restaurants in the centre.

"The shopping centre has only just opened."
She added: "Police are now moving us further back, past the bus station. A policeman said they may have found another suspicious package and are not taking any risks.

"It's chaos. People are running away from the scene. There are no taxis or buses operating.
"A bomb disposal unit is there. Police are getting everyone out from nearby buildings and there are several ambulances here."

Mrs Sellars, a retired teacher, who lives in Teignmouth, Devon, said she was on a shopping trip with relatives visiting from Australia when the incident happened.

She said: "We are trying to get out of the city centre but can't. We came on the bus but no buses are running. They have closed the bus station.

"I have never known anything like it. You might expect it in London or other big cities but not Devon.

"I'm hearing that one man has been injured."

Special branch detectives are investigating whether the real target may have been another shop in the area, possibly one which sells products which are tested on animals.

There have been attacks on shopping centres in the West Country over the past 25 years which have been linked to animal rights extremists.

The most serious was a fire which destroyed the Dingles store in Plymouth more than ten years ago.

Giraffe is part of a popular national chain of restaurants which have juice and salad bars.
It is popular with the scores of office workers who go into the brand new £120 million development for lunch and snacks.

"It is too early to speculate on what happened and officers are currently in the area ensuring the safety of the public.

"Whilst we are not fully aware of the circumstances of this incident it is believed that an explosion of some sort did take place."
Assistant Chief Constable Bob Spencer said: "We are carrying out a careful evacuation of the premises using the police and other emergency services that are at the scene.

"We will update the people of Exeter about what has happened as soon as we can. In the meantime I'd urge motorists to stay away from the city centre area and road delays are likely"

I've never heard of an animal rights terrorist using a Nail Bomb, but I guess there's a first for everything.
We shall see.

UK: Attempted Suicide Bombing At Mall In Exeter?

That what it looks like (thanks to Watcher71).

Just happened this morning, apparently.

A "man" is in custody. Witnesses say he was trying to detonate a blast, and he ended up being the only one hurt.

Watcher 71 says: At a guess, it sounds like he entered the bathroom of the restaurant to arm the device, in the locked stall and the detonator went off in his face without actually detonating the device...Amateur night Jihad.

That's the way all suicide bombings ought to work.

From the London Times:

The centre of Exeter was evacuated today after an explosion at a city
centre restaurant which injured one man.

The blast happened at the
Giraffe restaurant at the recently-opened Princesshay shopping centre at around

Police said they had evacuated all the shops in the area and
sealed off the city centre with police tape. Hundreds waited behind the cordon,
as local people were urged to avoid the area.

Later the cordon was
extended, moving the onlookers 100 yards further back. Exeter bus station was
evacuated and cordoned off, with all vehicles and passengers leaving the

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “This is being
treated as a serious incident."
The injured man was taken to hospital some
miles away in Truro, Cornwall, police said.

Firearms officers were sent to the scene as well as sniffer dogs and
specialist search teams. A Royal Navy bomb disposal team brought out a remotely
controlled device to help investigate the area. A large number of police cars,
police vans and three fire engines were also in attendance.

The incident happened at a time when the recently opened shopping
centre would have been crowded with members of the public.

Juliette Joffe, a director of Giraffe, confirmed there was an explosion
inside the restaurant. Around 15 people would have been working there at the
time, she said.

“All we know at present is there was an explosion in the Giraffe in
Princesshay and the Princesshay has been evacuated,” she said.

Alison Fewins, 27, from Exeter, was shopping with her friend, Louise
Platt, also 27 said: “We were out shopping and were about three or four shops
away when we felt a vibration and heard a noise which we thought was building

“We didn’t connect it with any kind of explosion. A few people were
running around and we heard police cars.”

She went on: “I am a bit shaken. It’s all a bit scary that it happened

Assistant Chief Constable Bob Spencer said: “We are carrying out a
careful evacuation of the premises using the police and other emergency services
that are at the scene.

“We will update the people of Exeter about what has happened as soon as
we can. In the meantime I’d urge motorists to stay away from the city centre
area and road delays are likely.”

More from Channel 4 News:

Witnesses said the man was hurt when he tried to
detonate the blast.

Officers said
his injuries were not life-threatening and he had been taken to hospital in
Truro, Cornwall, in police custody.

From the BBC:

A police spokesman said one man was in custody with "slight injuries". He
added the possibility of other devices in the area could not be ruled out.

Officers are currently evacuating the city's bus station and have
extended an exclusion cordon to include the Princesshay centre, Bedford Square,
High Street, Queen Street and Paris Street.
Bomb disposal experts have been
sent to the restaurant.

Police have asked stores in the area to retain any CCTV footage in case
it is needed at a later date.

'Three explosions'

Eyewitness Peter Lacey who was in the restaurant with his wife told BBC
News: "There were three explosions. It is my impression they sounded more like
gunshots than a bomb, like a lightbulb exploding.

"They came from a locked toilet."

Storm Track Disinformation: And Hitler Was a Philanthropist

I'm getting so tired of intelligent people’s lack of knowledge of history. Take Hitler as an example. It was observed once that if Hitler had died in 1938, he would have gone down as one of the great statesmen of Germany.

He and his party turned a beaten, immoral, inflation ridden country into a powerful State that eventually challenged the world.

Of course there was price for Hitler’s vision of a greater Germany. And that price was paid for dearly by the German people. But in 1938, Hitler was rightly seen by non-Jewish German as a savior.

Today, we have the same kind of thinking. But instead of Hitler as the one who steps in where others are unable to tread, we have Hezbollah and Shiite cleric Muqtada al Sadr.

Question For Urban Outfitters - If You Keep Apologizing For The Same Thing, Are You Really Sorry?

Fuck you, Urban Outfitters:

Popular U.S. clothing store Urban Outfitters has halted sales of a T-shirt apparently supporting Palestinian violence that has sparked outrage in the American Jewish community.

The T-shirt, created by Los Angeles-based designer "Fashion Jive," depicts a young Palestinian boy carrying an M-16 rifle, over the word "Victimized." The T-shirt also shows the Palestinian flag, a map of the Palestinian territories and a small white dove. The item sold online for $25.

"If Urban Outfitters is good at something, it is getting publicity," remarked Ami Cohen, works for American Apparel in Tel Aviv. "This company has a history of coming into conflict with Jews."

Several years ago, the company played on the "Jewish American Princess" stereotype by selling T-shirts with the slogan "Everybody Loves a Jewish Girl," surrounded by dollar signs and shopping bags.

In 2007, it again came into conflict with Jewish and pro-Israel consumers for selling versions of a traditional Arab headdress, the kaffiyeh, as an "anti-war scarf." Although the firm's CEO, Dick Heyne, argued that the company had not intended "to imply any sympathy for or support of terrorists or terrorism" by selling the kaffiyeh, some argue that selling of the "Victimized" T-shirt does just that.

"Of course this T-shirt is supporting terrorism," said Leah Weiss, a fashion designer who recently immigrated to Israel.

"I've joined a Facebook group to boycott Urban Outfitters and get rid of their clothes. I will never shop there again."

I'm part of that boycott. Urban Outfitters has always been one of my favorite clothing stores. I have a brown leather jacket I bought at their Phoenix store, about eight years back, that I still wear all the time.

But, they will not be seeing anymore of my money. I've absolutely had it with them.

Security Gaps?

From this source:
Counterterror staff falls to 62%

May 22, 2008

By Jerry Seper - More than one out of every three positions in an elite FBI division that tracks al Qaeda terrorists is vacant, according to an internal bureau document. Efforts are under way at the FBI to canvass for "volunteers" to fill what the agency said is a "critical" need in its counterterrorism efforts.

A senior bureau official said yesterday that because of significant staffing shortages and a lack of experienced managers, the FBI cannot properly defend the United States against "another catastrophic and direct attack by Middle Eastern terrorists."

Bassem Youssef, chief of the communications analysis unit of the FBI's counterterrorism division, said the bureau's International Terrorism Operations Sections (ITOS) — which include those that track al Qaeda terrorists — are "inexcusably understaffed."

Mr. Youssef, who was scheduled to testify during a subcommittee hearing on FBI whistleblowers, also said a bureau policy mandating that its agents, ITOS supervisors and counterterrorism managers do not need "subject matter expertise" in Middle Eastern counterterrorism is "indefensible and counterproductive."

He also said an FBI policy of promoting agents to its upper-management positions who have no "comprehension of the Arabic language" had resulted in the bureau's failure to have a management capable of responding to "real-time potential threats or opportunities." He said "an overdependency" of translators "can and does delay responses to situations that are time critical."

"Subtle messages and information not capable of ready translation or that which would be obvious to a native speaker who is simultaneously involved in operational activities are regularly lost," he said....

Mr. Youssef, who was born in Egypt, has accused the FBI of improperly denying him promotions in the counterterrorism division — an accusation denied by the bureau. In July 2006, the Justice Department's Office of Professional Responsibility concluded that the FBI had retaliated against Mr. Youssef because of disclosures he made to the agency's director and a member of Congress.

No trial date has been set.

America In Ashes?

From Christopher Carson at Front Page Magazine:

The latest audio message from al-Qaeda, reportedly from Osama bin Laden himself, is only the most recent confirmation that the jihadist threat to the West remains real and deadly serious. But the fact that it could take the form of nuclear terrorism should be most worrying to citizens and policy makers alike.

Where a nuclear attack once may have been beyond the capacities of stateless terrorists, that is no longer the case. One need only consider Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM), mastermind of 9/11 and chief operating officer of al-Qaeda, who revealed under intensive interrogation -- including the much-maligned tactic of waterboarding -- that a nuclear attack against the United States was a top priority for al-Qaeda.

According to the New York Daily News and its sources, the captive KSM told his interrogators that Osama bin Laden was planning a "nuclear hell storm" in America. Normally such a lurid claim would be disbelieved by our "inside-the-box" intelligence officers, but KSM's recovered laptop had corroborating details.

The agents learned that the chain of command for this new operation went simply: bin Laden, his terrorist doctor Ayman al-Zawahiri, a mysterious scientist named "Dr. X," and an operational coordinator. The scientist turned out to be Dr. A.Q. Khan, the founder of Pakistan's atomic bomb, national hero, and nuke material proliferator extraordinaire. The operations ringleader was known as "Jafer the Pilot" (Jaffer al-Tayyar). This ID was corroborated by former al-Qaeda No. 3 Abu Zubaydah when he himself was waterboarded.

Dr. Khan's input was important: One month before 9/11, according to The Washington Post, bin Laden and his deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri, met around a blazing campfire with Pakistani scientists from an A.Q. Khan-affiliated group called Umma Tameer-E-Nau, to discuss how al-Qaeda could build a nuclear device themselves and ship it to a target.

The night meeting went well. 'Jafer the Pilot" is the nom de guerre of U.S. citizen Adnan el-Shukrijumah. Young, intelligent, fluent in multiple languages and a trained jet pilot who had apparently been in flight schools with Mohammed Atta, Shukrijumah had studied and worked with other jihadis at the 5-megawatt nuclear reactor at McMaster University in Canada. But one day all the terrorists disappeared from campus forever.

John Loftus of WABC news reported on November 7, 2003, that in the immediate wake of Shukrijumah and his fellow travelers' disappearance, 180 pounds of uranium ended up "missing" from the reactor. Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir, who interviewed Osama bin Laden in the wake of 9/11, reported bin Laden saying that one of the founders of al-Qaeda, Anas el-Liby, had helped the Pilot haul out the stash of uranium.

McMaster U. has always insisted that no material was ever missing from the reactor, but instead claims that low-grade radiological material did turn up missing from their pharmacological/medical labs at the time. Paul Williams, author of The Day of Islam, published the Loftus-Mir assertions in his book and elsewhere. For his trouble, he was promptly sued by the University for $4,000,000. The suit is still pending.

But the Pilot and his atomically-inclined friends had not gone to live in a cave somewhere in Waziristan like their bosses had. Shukrijumah had much work to do for his "American Hiroshima" plan, which would detonate actual nuclear bombs in seven American cities at once. Paul Williams surmises that Osama bin Laden's increasingly messianic pronouncements over the airwaves are psychologically tied up with his expectations of the nuclear destruction of the Great Satan—with bin Laden himself as the prophesied Mahdi, the fiery culmination of 1,600 years of Islamic history.

Whatever pangs of conscience remaining to the plotters as they contemplated burning millions of women and children alive was thoroughly assuaged by bin Laden's diplomacy. The supremo had duly arranged for a compliant mullah to issue a fatwa, which expressly authorized the destruction of the United States of American in clouds of atomic ash.

Entitled "A Treatise on the Legal Status of Using Weapons of Mass Destruction Against Infidels," and dated May 2003, this fatwa can be read online by all the faithful. FBI chief Robert Mueller has also said that there is a "clear intent" by al-Qaeda to acquire and use nuclear weapons against the United States. As far back as 1993, said Mueller, Osama bin Laden had attempted to buy uranium from a source in the Sudan. Why should we expect him to stop in the last 15 years?

One thing is certain: homicidal doctor Ayman al-Zawahiri's made a decision when KSM was captured: Cancel that planned mass cyanide gas attack in the New York subway system. He told the operational plotters to stand down because "we have something better in mind," which would presumably suck up all the resources then available to him. What would be "better" than a mass cyanide attack in a confined urban rush-hour space?

There is only one thing more murderous.

Go read the whole thing.

High gas prices drive farmer to switch to mules
gifp2537.jpgMCMINNVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - High gas prices have driven a Warren County farmer and his sons to hitch a tractor rake to a pair of mules to gather hay from their fields. T.R. Raymond bought Dolly and Molly at the Dixon mule sale last year. Son Danny Raymond trained them and also modified the tractor rake so the mules could pull it.

T.R. Raymond says the mules are slower than a petroleum-powered tractor, but there are benefits.

"This fuel's so high, you can't afford it," he said. "We can feed these mules cheaper than we can buy fuel. That's the truth."

And Danny Raymond says he just likes using the mules around the farm.

"We've been using them quite a bit," he said.

Brother Robert Raymond added, "It's the way of the future."

Rational Thinking, Making a Value Judgment Free From Political Correctness - Now, What If…?

What if the medias told the truth from bare facts?

What if muhammad never had been born?
Would there be a Persia, a Babylon, an Assyrian civilization, a civilized Lebanon without war, a Choptic Egypt, a Jewish civilization, an Ethiopian Kingdom, a Kurdistan, lost and unknown books and arts from fascinating cultures and people throughout Northern Africa, the Arabian peninsula, Asia?

What if people suddenly reflected with reason?

What if Political Correctness disappeared?

What if people took on face value what they saw?

What if Churchill was Prime Minister of Britain and Eisenhover President in the US today?
Would they listen to the Iranian president Ahmedinejad and wahabist bigots?

What if people were allowed to say and write what they think as was possible less then 20 years ago?

What if 'what if' was not allowed because you were told there is no 'if'?

From Gates of Vienna;
Cartoons: Fawstin

The feature article translated below is unusual, and rings out as a voice of sanity in the politically correct wilderness.

Now, What If…?

Now, what if our ideals destroy our sense of reality and lead us down the wrong path? What if Bush is really a great president?

By Mogens Rukov

What if Bush…? What if Islam…? Think, what if the intelligentsia…? What if multicultural…? Think, what if Arafat…? What if my a.. was…? What if you could go on forever?

Now, what if there existed the equivalent of contrafactual history writing? What if there were the equivalent of hypothesizing what the world would be like out if history hadn’t turned out the way it did?

What if Hitler had won the war? What if the Iron Curtain had never been imposed on Europe? What if the incandescent light bulb had never been invented?

What if the mind could entertain these kinds of questions, which are counterfactual to the conventional wisdom.

What if some are more concrete, others more fluid. But what if all of them now work for the sake of clarifying reality, of the facts, of the sum of what we know about reality. What if we can open up a perspectives on an alternative world of thought to the one we already agree about?

What if many of them lead us directly into paradise or hell? What if they individually put history on a knife’s edge, where it balances and where it could have fallen out differently than it did?

Contrafactual questions shake the way we, by habit, react to the course of history. They are part of history’s teaching.

Aren’t there also questions which can shake up our thinking, so that it doesn’t become habitual thinking?

What if you could ask contra-conceptual questions instead of contra-factual?

To think new thoughts one often has to change concepts. Such a change of concept lies in the contra-conceptual.

Concepts are our prisons, our direction, and our freedom. They are our dreams and our nightmares.

Contra-conceptual questions do not have to be wise, or logical, or rational. Actually, they have to be the opposite. They have to be stupid, unthinkable, to the verge of ignorance.

What if Bush was a great president?

Is that unthinkable? Reagan was called a fool too, an actor, parvenu. Nor could he read — as Bush is said not to be able to — Reagan didn’t have any experience in foreign policy, should never have been in The White House. All these kinds of things they said, our foreign policy experts, many of our politicians, the intelligentsia, the intellectuals, the writers.

Now he is called a great president. By the same people, or among the same people who have little interest in what happens around them.

In those days you where taken as a big idiot if you said anything else except that Reagan was a big idiot. People laughed at you if you didn’t laugh at Reagan. But the experts say that it was Reagan’s policy that ended the Cold War, that it was his stubbornness that won it.

The man who didn’t know anything about politics, the ridiculous fool who could not read, the actor, won the biggest political fight in modern time, after forty years of cold war.

Do you have to be illiterate to become a great politician? Do you have to be a Western politician not to understand a thing?

What if the Iraq war is a real war?

The Korean war was stupid. The Vietnam war was insane, all the good people said as much in those days. But both wars stopped communist aggression. Both served in part to hasten the fall of communism.

What if the war in Iraq will lead to a new balance in the Arab world, if it is a probe thrust into the Muslim sea?

What if it is only a temporary fiasco, what if it becomes a success? What if it made Libya give up its weapon of mass destruction program in December of 2003 as a reaction to the war in Iraq, or if it is true, made Iran to halt its development of nuclear weapons in 2003, also for that very reason. Is that not enough to call the war in Iraq a good war?

What if there is no such thing as a legitimate war, as some opponents of the Iraq war claim because they see the war in Iraq as illegitimate.

What if legitimate war is only a concept which has been invented by some bureaucrats as a concept that allows them to make wars that are just as insane as any other war but which they would not be able to do without the juridical term “legitimate war”, partly because they don’t have the power, partly because there is no reason to do it?

What if “legitimate war” leads us into the most insane wars because some insane states in the UN vote for it?

What if UN with all their perception and legitimacy are leading the world into Armageddon, if it becomes an instrument for powerless madness.

What if the fight against Islam is the big European war right now?

What if it is the new Thirty Years War that replaces the old one prior to the peace of Westphalia, which is now defines Europe?

The European establishment, the European debate , treats Islam as if it was only a religion.

Think — what if Islam is only a religion if seen from the perspective of the individual Muslim?

What if Islam is already at war from within the mosque and further up in the hierarchy. And think — what if it actually already is at war from the viewpoint of the individual Muslim believer.

What if the order in the Quran about killing or dominating the infidel (non-Muslim) is part of the doctrine that the individual Muslim recognize?

What if the Muslim terrorists are only the storm troops in the war, those who commit the commando raids in the broader fight?

What if the only way the war can be won for Christian Europe is by prohibiting Islam and sending all Muslims back to Islamic countries? What inhumane conduct does the war not impose on us?

What if all European countries develop Muslim no-go zones as already exist in Great Britain?

What if the Bishop of Rochester is right, and the problem is the political establishment, as the
chairman of the Muslim Forum, Manzoor Moghal, has replied: “No matter how much his (the Bishop’s) opponents are rumbling against his accusations, the fact is that the determination with which some of my Muslim kinsmen stick to a specific lifestyle, specific habits, language and way of living has led to create neighborhoods where non-Muslims would feel uneasy, and might even get attacked.”

What if the rising violence in our streets is actually making no-go time zones? Will the politicians still talk about freedom of religion, about tolerance towards different ways of thinking, when they speak of Islamophobia?

What if any generation of Muslim immigrants in reality functions as occupying troops?

What if the positive results of multiculturalism do not exist. What if the brotherhood, mutual understanding, deeply felt empathy, and cross-fertilization are only part of the mental activity of some members of the intelligentsia?

What if multiculturalism dissolves society?

What if the big survey of multiculti societies by Robert Putnam — who has studied 41 multicultural areas in the US — is right? What if it is true that diversity not only reduces the so-called social capital between different ethnic groups but also inside the groups themselves?

What if multiculture not only dissolves society, but destroys it.

What if the problem of multiculture is not the ethnic conflicts or the difficult race relations, but the fact — as the survey shows — that confidence in society, and “the others” in society, is lower. What if — as was reported — altruism, which the distribution of burdens in the welfare society is built upon, is reduced.

What if such a simple thing as friendships between likeminded men and women is not as frequent in a multiculti society. “In plain speech, people who live under ethnic diversity ‘keep their head down’, hide like a turtle”.

What if many Muslims throughout their childhood have been raised to show more solidarity towards the Quran than towards the country where they were brought up?

What if it is a fact that “the terror threat does not come from marginalized citizens with a pure Danish or Dutch background, it comes solely from citizens with Muslim background,” as Ayaan Hirsi Ali says?

What if that is what we have seen in the last few years?

What if the divide in opinion surrounding the Mohammed Cartoons was a consequence of this diversity. What if the violence in Nørrebro and the violence in general is a consequence of this?

What if the tough debates are coming from this? If the tone in the debate is not a consequence of anybody’s cynicism, but a consequence of the destruction of our society?

What if the knife-stabbers understand more about multiculturalism than the guys behind “Images of The Middle East”?

What if a festival with title “Images of The West” could win the curiosity of the intelligentsia?

What if those writers — good writers of fiction — who warned against the sharpening of the tone and the exclusion of the Muslims especially by that tone, by supporting the multicultural development themselves actually bring the sharpened tone into society accompanied by the use of sharp knives?

These “Now, what if…” questions are aiming at exactly these kinds of circumstances. On the absurd reverses of events, reality’s grotesque play between surface and foundation.

What if now the fulfillment of intentions tends to produce the opposite of what was intended?

What if we are on the verge of a world war?

Consider whether such a war is as all other wars: the solution to conflicts that politics cannot cope with.

What if the politicians had taken care of the conflicts without war, and with the consent of the populace. Which social development is prevented by the intelligentsia, DR, Politiken and Information [PC Danish media outlets]?

What if it’s true that war solves insoluble conflicts, but that negotiations do not.

What if it is violence and negotiations together that solve the conflicts? First violence, then negotiations.

What if those who speak of peace actually generate wars.

What if the biggest threat to peace is to focus on peace, while focusing on war preserves the peace?

What if those people who speak of peace (with Islam) only promote our defeat, and the victory of Islam?

What if paradoxical preparations for war are exactly preparations for peace?

What if immigration is actually occupation?

What if the Muslim immigration into Christian Europe constitutes an army of occupiers, even if the individual Muslim does not want to be a soldier in that army, but just wants to be a respected settler.

What if the Jewish settlers on the West Bank are nothing but immigrants?

What if the world’s problems with these Jewish settlers are the same as our problems with integration?

Now, what if the Palestinians have developed a strategy that makes them the gangsters of the world?

What if the Palestinians suffer due to our massive aid to the Palestinian areas ($6 billion over three years), where the help up until now has only turned the whole population into social clients, while their leaders have ruled with corruption and lawlessness — just like a bunch of mafia bosses?

What if the Israeli attacks into Gaza should be the model for Århus in dealing with Gellerupparken [Muslim ghetto outside Denmark’s second largest city]?

What if Arafat was a mafia boss of the magnitude of Saddam? What indicates otherwise?

And what if there actually were no Palestinian problem, but that a Palestinian problem has been created by the Arab side going all the way back to the 1920s, and that it is inspired by the Nazis’ anti-Semitism?

What if there still exists only an Islamic/Jewish problem? And that what we see around Israel is of the same character as what is about to happen in Europe: The Muslims everywhere invent their “legitimate” rights.

Now, what if.

What if Europe is a huge West Bank? If neighborhoods such as Gellerupparken and Mjolnerparken are only Arab settlements in Denmark.

What if Israel’s military strength — as weakened as it may be by now — is its only possibility of survival in an Arab world, and that it is now equally necessary for the military to be raised in European countries and turned against other usurpers?

Now, what if we have a common foe, Islam?

What if Huntington is right about the clash of civilizations, and that is what we see in the Arab-European space; as opposed Fukuyama’s end of history, “the point in human ideological evolution and the universalization of the liberal democracy of the West as the final form of governance”; as with any other fascist development, in this also the religious foundation must stand up against it and fight.

What if sharia should replace Roman Law? Have we no rights? Shall tolerance make room for Allah and Mohammed?

Shall experiments and innovation be succeeded by a literal reading of primitive scriptures?

Now, what if the control whose intended imposition on the public, instead of enhancing efficiency of public affairs, drains it of energy?

Is it not what we see in connection with aid to the elderly, help in the home, in the hospitals, and in the schools?

What if our habits have destroyed our foresight?

What if our ideals destroy our realities? What if our ideals actually mislead us instead of showing us the right way?

What if tolerance, for example, is not a universal notion but only valid under circumstances which have disappeared — even though we thought that it was universal?

Now, what if our language has thereby been emptied?

Now, what if our language only has meaning in the most banal circumstances, and no longer serves to express actual careful thought?

What if fiction is now the proper form for a clarifying documentary realism?

Obama And His Islam-Promoting Cousin Raila Odinga

Thanks to Michael for sending this along.

Obama's Cousin Odinga of Kenya - It IS about Character!

Can it be repeated enough? I say no! One must judge the CHARACTER of a candidate based upon several aspects, not the least of which are his/her words, actions, family ties and associations.

Barak Hussein Obama is now the "Messiah" of the left and it bodes ill for America when one examines these character issues.

Obama's actions speak loudly. At the time, little gravity was given to the missing lapel flag pin, or the disrespect for the "Pledge of Allegiance," but when combined with his associations, family ties and their actions, and his statements, one cannot simply brush it off. It is the whole that we are judging, yes judging, when we decide who should be the next leader of the free world!

The Rev. Wright controversy has been well reported and has reflected badly on the candidate to the point that each threw the other under the bus repeatedly. Why did it take twenty years for BHO to jettison Rev. Wright? Character?

Obama's associations are just the tip of the iceberg. With all the questions about his true religious alignment one needs only to look at his cousin.

It has been widely reported for months that Barak Hussein Obama is a cousin of the accused butcher of Kenya who betrayed his own roots and not only sided with Muslims to capture the Presidency of Kenya he vowed to turn the nation into an Islamic state. Below is the Memorandum of Understanding he signed, openly courting the Muslim minority to support him.

In Kenya, only 10% of the population is Muslim, yet international pressure has mandated that he be in the power sharing of the government.

In no way do I condone the other side's words and actions, or that the election was rigged, but merely that his familial association with BHO is disturbing to say the least. It is also widely reported that Obama supports his cousin as the Horn of Africa falls into the abyss of Islamofascism.

There is much, much, more......at the link below!
