Forest Fire Jihad

On a recent post of mine about a Christian pastor who is converting Muslims into Christians right and left in the Middle East, an anonymous person left a link to an interesting story (see the story below). And I realized this is a really good example to use when talking to people about jihad.

One of the most common response we get is, "But it's only a handful of extremists. Most Muslims are not terrorists."

I've found a good response to this -- a response that takes them aback and shuts them up, and clearly makes them realize they don't know what the hell is going on -- is to say, "There are many ways to wage jihad. Terrorism is only one of many ways. For example, some are waging jihad by using their oil wealth to build mosques and madrassas all over the free world, and making sure they teach hatred toward the West in those outlets. Some are waging jihad by getting every informative video on Islam banned from YouTube. Some wage it by giving money to charitable foundations that send their money to pay for suicide bombs. Some wage it by sueing anyone who writes anything critical of Islam. And some wage forest fire jihad."

An Australian news source recently published this story. Here is an excerpt from the article:
US intelligence channels earlier this year identified a website calling on Muslims in Australia, the US, Europe and Russia to "start forest fires", claiming "scholars have justified chopping down and burning the infidels' forests when they do the same to our lands".

The website, posted by a group called the Al-Ikhlas Islamic Network, argues in Arabic that lighting fires is an effective form of terrorism justified in Islamic law under the "eye for an eye" doctrine.

The posting — which instructs jihadis to remember "forest jihad" in summer months — says fires cause economic damage and pollution, tie up security agencies and can take months to extinguish so that "this terror will haunt them for an extended period of time".

"Imagine if, after all the losses caused by such an event, a jihadist organisation were to claim responsibility for the forest fires," the website says. "You can hardly begin to imagine the level of fear that would take hold of people in the United States, in Europe, in Russia and in Australia."

I assume you are aware of the current conflagration in Australia, has claimed entire towns over 110 dead so far. Mostly in Victoria (watching this kinda closely I have neices & nephews who live there). Some were accidental but when asked about arson Rudd's response was "This is mass murder."

May throw this all in a different light. . .

Melbourne's Alfred Hospital runs out of morphine treating burns victims
ONE after another, the horrifying procession of helicopters brought the most seriously burned victims to the Alfred. The sheer number and seriousness of their injuries was so overwhelming the state's biggest trauma hospital ran out of morphine, calling for emergency supplies to treat the 20 most seriously injured victims. Patients started arriving at 9pm on Saturday and by noon yesterday 10 were on life support in an intensive care unit filled to capacity for the first time since it opened last year, the Herald Sun reports. Emergency doctors at the state's top burns unit could only compare the carnage with the Bali bombing victims they treated six years earlier.

I've been wondering about those fires, though they have been a regular event as they are in California and used to be in the upper Midwest. Which, of course, makes them a particularly reliable natural weapon for those so inclined. I don't suppose we'll get the names of those "youths" they've arrested any too soon?

Anonymous, shouldn't you be somewhere with your face on the floor and your ass in the air this time of morning?

Oh, and Muslim? Shouldn't you be standing in back of Anonymous with your pants down? Or screwing a 9-year-old girl or a dead woman or a camel or someone else's widow? Always want to be emulating the Prophet (pigs be upon him) now, don't we?

Dear Misunderstander of your Religion Muslim -- I do read my Bible alot and seems to me the One True God gave that land to the Jews to be theirs forever. So why not sit your cranky backside in Ashkelon or Sderot as the rockets from your peaceful brothers coming raining down? See if you wouldn't respond to stop the threat once and for all.

Why would you think we'd take advice from the worshippers of Molech? From a religion who believes in a prophet who married a 9 yr old girl. Who glorifies Death, sends young men to fly planes into building, sends it's women, children and handicapped to blow themselves up. Who stones not the rapist but the victim. Who uses honor killings on young teenage girls who are only trying to live like normal American teenagers. Who would hide the beauty God gave their women beneath such a piece of enslavement as the hijab and the burqa. Who views women as property instead of as equals.

Seems to me we have the righteousness of the Almighty on our side.

Now, if you aer son incensed at us then why do you not also condemn the actions I listed above? Let's see you stand up and question or condemn those firing rockets and stoning adulterers, hanging homosexuals from cranes. And do it openly, not as anonymous (we need to maintain our anonymity to protect ourselves from violent retaliation from the Religion of Peace). Start your own blog to condemn such actions of your own house. But you won't because either you agree with said actions or you're afraid of what the Religion of Peace will do to you for speaking out against them.

Dumbass.

From the Sept. 08 theage article linked above:

The website, posted by a group called the Al-Ikhlas Islamic Network

According to wiki (I know, I know, but bear with me)

Al-Ikhlas is the 112th Sura of the Qur'an. It is a short declaration of tawhid, God's absolute unity, consisting of 4 ayat. Al-Ikhlas means "the purity" or "the refining", meaning to remain pure and faithful or a state of purging one's soul of non-Islamic beliefs, such as paganism and polytheism.

Got that? PURGING OF NON_MUSLIM BELIEFS, SUCH AS PAGANISM AND POLYTHEISM is but one of those endearing RoP doctrines to live by in the book instructing the immutable word of that sh*t prophet.

It's expected police will on Tuesday release an image of a man sought for questioning over the fires.

"We'll soon be in a position to provide face images of people we believe responsible," Morwell Detective Sergeant Brett Kahan told The Age.

'The Age' has taken down the webpage about musim involvement in the fires. There is no cache on Google. Anybody got a copy of the original?

I've found an apparently complete copy of the original article at http://www.hillarysvillage.net/showthread.php?t=7924

"AUSTRALIA has been singled out as a target for "forest jihad" by a group of Islamic extremists urging Muslims to deliberately light bushfires as a weapon of terror.

With the nation heading into another hot, dry summer, Australian intelligence agencies are treating the possibility that bushfires could be used as a weapon of terrorism as a serious concern.

Attorney-General Robert McClelland said the Federal Government remained "vigilant against such threats", warning that anyone caught lighting a fire as a weapon of terror would feel the wrath of anti-terror laws.

"Any information that suggests a threat to Australia's interests is investigated by relevant agencies as appropriate," Mr McClelland said.

Adam Dolnik, director of research at the University of Wollongong's Centre for Transnational Crime Prevention, said that bushfires (unlike suicide bombing) were generally not considered a glorious type of attack by jihadis, in keeping with a recent decline in the sophistication of terrorist operations.

"With attacks like bushfires, yes, it would be easy. It would be very damaging and we do see a decreasing sophistication as a part of terrorist attacks," Dr Dolnik said.
"In recent years, there have been quite a few attacks averted and it has become more and more difficult for groups to do something effective."

Dr Dolnik said he had observed an increase in traffic on jihadi websites calling for a simplification of terrorist attacks because the more complex operations had been failing. But starting bushfires was still often regarded as less effective than other operations because governments could easily deny terrorism as the cause.

The internet posting by the little-known group claimed the idea of forest fires had been attributed to imprisoned Al Qaeda leader Abu Musab Al-Suri. It said Al-Suri had urged terrorists to use sulphuric acid and petrol to start forest fires. "

Wow. I leave for a little while and come back to find a conflagration of sorts right here on this post about Forest Fire Jihad!

I have gotten so many messages from Muslims that want to explain the "true" Islam and tell me how I have misunderstood it, I finally wrote an article I can send them to get them to see that the fact that they're trying to defend Islam or justify it functions ITSELF like a kind of jihad, whether they mean it that way or not. Check it out, you Muslims:

Message To Peaceful Muslims

The rest of you, I know they may not be peaceful, but you might as well give them the benefit of the doubt to start off. If nothing else, it's just classier.

CW -- the Conflagration has jumped the fire line to another thread or two as well. I had one on my Norman Thomas post.

Just for the record, I've had more than one Muslim friend who was very nice.

So, here's my message to all the moderate Muslims who are upset. Calm down. It isn't personal. If you don't want to kill homosexuals, apostates, and people who don't agree with you, then our criticisms have nothing to do with you.

I second Pasto. I take men as they are, one at a time. It's the stricter less forgiving parts of your religion, not an individual, where we run afoul.
