Back Off Obama: Twenty States and Counting
These days there are few things that give even the merest suggestion of light in this dreary, post-American world. But a glimmer can be had from a wave of states bristling at the imperious squawking of Obama from the White House of Marx.
So, I’m not sure where these efforts will lead, but I find it damn heartening.
Take Part In The Largest Display Of Jeffersonian Principles In Living Memory
The largest support of Jeffersonian Principles in living memory will happen Wednesday, March 4th, starting at 8AM at the State House in Concord, NH. There we will show our support for HCR6, while our liberty-loving Representatives support it inside Representatives’ Hall. This is a crucial day — a day to prioritize your love for liberty above your day-to-day life. Whether you live in New Hampshire, or just want to come support this resolution and do so among hundreds of others, who love liberty, come join us!Learn about other states with similar initiatives and how to demand them in your own! Even if you do not live in NH this is important to you! You can help!
As the Obama administration attempts to push through Congress a nearly $1 trillion deficit spending plan that is weighted heavily toward advancing typically Democratic-supported social welfare programs, a rebellion against the growing dominance of federal control is beginning to spread at the state level. So far, eight states have introduced resolutions declaring state sovereignty under the Ninth and Tenth Amendment to the Constitution, including Arizona, Hawaii, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, Oklahoma and Washington.Analysts expect that in addition, another 20 states may see similar measures introduced this year, including Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Nevada, Maine and Pennsylvania.

While at the same time putting their hands out for a Washington bailout. I don't see the revolution happening - especially in bankrupt California.
Some of these states went to Zerobama in the presidential election. They got their boy into the White House, so why are they complaining now?
They are complaining because the freaking rights are inalienable, and the people making a bad choice for Pres. does not vitiate the rights of those people.
We are not a mob ruled country. We are a Constitutional republic. The feds are a construct of the states, not vice versa. Our rights derive from our birth as human beings, NOT from the feds.
Allowing them to trample your rights in the past, or voting for a rights-trampler, does not, in any way, waive your legal ability to exercise those rights, or insist that the infringers cease and desist. They are yours intrinsically - you cannot give them away, they cannot be purchased or sold. You have a right to assert them at any time.
One of the most sophisticated secessionist movements is in Vermont - hippy dippy liberal land.
Good on them - they have thought through a lot of the details, such as confederating with surrounding like-minded states, setting up travel, trade and other agreements with the other American regions, and, most importantly and urgently, withholding federal income tax "in escrow", to give the feds time to back off the blatantly unconstitutional infringements on rights of speech, religion, assembly, arms-bearing, etc.
E-mail and call your state reps to start or continue down the secessionist road. Get and read New Hampshire's resolutions - and be encouraged.
