Can you *please* remove that auto playing music? There is no way to stop it and it prevents you from listening to the audio of the video clips you are embedding on your site.
Anonymous -- Lower right hand corner of the logo there is a red stop the music button. Press it & it stops.
So THIS is how it begins. Not with a shot but with a shout.
Clearly the host on the floor will be looking for new work in the morning.
Meanwhile, OT but not really, the Oklahoma house has passed the 10th Amendment Resolution 83-13.

And here you can follow what's going on with all states and 10th amendment Resolutions.

This is all getting pretty damn interesting.
No link, no verification but supposedly in the Porkulus there is a provision that if the Governor turns down any monies the state legislature is allowed to vote for it and override the Governor. Sounds like an end run of States Rights.
And the GOP governors are talking about turning down the money:

MR,
Do you have any idea why the states are making this move? Do they do this periodically?
At first I thought it was a periodic thing but now I'm not so sure. There is seemingly a groundswell of it and it is making some news, especially among the blogs.
It may be in response to leveler heads no wanting to give up control of their sovereignty, afraid of what Obama may do from past speeches, actions, appointments and a very liberal Congress. Pre-empting as it were.
I see it as a good sign that, even though 67 million Americans may have voted this guy in I think they were in high density areas and by and large Americans are not happy with this liberal an agenda.
I could be wrong, of course.
It may not go anywhere but if more states do this, pass these, AND THE PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT IT, it is going to be very hard for D.C. to ignore without coming off as tyrannical and heavy handed. Lots of ifs there but so it goes.
Clearly, between this, your Traders video here and other things we have seen the honeymoon isn't over, there never was one to begin with. Eexcept among the syncophants and narcissists and their adoring media themselves.
