Obama becomes comedian : Says U.S. Long-Term Debt Load ‘Unsustainable’

It must have been some mystery man the last 5 months, maybe the ghost of George Bush past to dream on.

President Barack Obama, calling current deficit spending “unsustainable,” warned of skyrocketing interest rates for consumers if the U.S. continues to finance government by borrowing from other countries.

“We can’t keep on just borrowing from China,” Obama said at a town-hall meeting in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, outside Albuquerque. “We have to pay interest on that debt, and that means we are mortgaging our children’s future with more and more debt.”

Holders of U.S. debt will eventually “get tired” of buying it, causing interest rates on everything from auto loans to home mortgages to increase, Obama said. “It will have a dampening effect on our economy.”

DUH

So what is the plan to do away automagically with the debt, and have the US and then the world return to growth without everything everywhere being built on this foundation:
Spending of American consumers based on speculative equity increases in the USA real estate market since production of actual objects with actual physical existence (yes that means software too) for profit in the USA is lessening (sometimes dramatically) because of lower costs overseas mostly based on cheap labor.

BTW, for those of you who are dreaming we have turned the corner, from the beginning of the DOW INDEX thru 1940, 7 of the top 10 up days occurred AFTER 1933. Just think about that for a moment

Here is Mr. Obama's "PLAN" to avoid interest on our debt soaking up moneys which can improve business and pay and research and energy independence:

The president pledged to work with Congress to shore up entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare and said he was confident that the House and Senate would pass health-care overhaul bills by August.

“Most of what is driving us into debt is health care, so we have to drive down costs,” he said.

Are we all considered to be THAT FRIGGING STUPID BY THIS MAN?
What is to become of us with Pelosi Reid controlling congress and this man in charge in the executive.
