Interview With Mark Thiessen, Author Of Courting Disaster

Dripping with hypocrisy - O'Donnell himself is son of a Boston attorney & Harvard graduate. What gives O'Donnell more credibility as a 'political' commentator than Thiessen?

If you read "Courting Disaster" one thing that jumps out is that the successful interrogation techniques for dealing with Islamists could almost have been predicted from an accurate knowledge of Islam. They work on these guys because Islam is a fatalistic religion and what will be is "Inshallah" -- the Will of Allah. Plus they are only required to resist to what they feel is the extent of their endurance -- and simulated drowning will work just as nicely as something truly damaging thanks very much -- after which they can boast about their glorious jihad operations all they want. Hey, whatever happens from then on is the Will of Allah!
Of course, if you assume Islam is a ROP and take John McCain as your standard for a torture survivor then the whole thing sounds insane and the libtards can go on sanctimoniously assuming that KSM and his cronies had their scrotal hair chewed off by giant vampire cockroaches or whatever.
The kindest thing I can say about some of these people is that they are the kind of fools who think that because someone else's belief system sounds bizarre to them that means the believers don't really believe it and won't act on it.
O'Donnell sounds like he's combining Alinsky technique with Islamist verbal "raiding" (i.e., extended nonstop high volume yelling and ranting). But basically I agree with Anon that the main influence is that he's a rude, arrogant prick.
