Omg, I remember that night. I think Johnny says "what is it about eggs?" when they come back after the break. Actually it was more like, "what is it with Deluise". Remember the night Johnny dragged him fully dressed into a bathtub?
Between Carson and SNL, it's a wonder we got any sleep at all back in the 70s.
To me, as a young kid interested in Zeppelin, Bowie, and Elton John, there was always something kind of hip about Johnny Carson.
Did you know he played the drums? I saw him sit in with the Doc Severinsen Band one night.
With that many eggs on stage, ya just know there's gonna be trouble...
