FBI Conducting Raids in Connection With Times Square Bomb Plot in Boston Area

You mean there might be more Jihadis involved? Shocker.

More disillusioned Muslims upset over the economy and loss of the American-dream, no doubt…

(Boston Herald)- Federal agents today executed search warrants in Watertown and other locations across the Northeast in connection with the investigation into the attempted May 1 Times Square bombing, said Warren T. Bamford, Boston FBI Special Agent in Charge.

FBI agents are also on scene at a Harvard Street Mobil gas station and used car lot in Brookline at this hour, but it is unclear whether the activity is related to the Times Square probe.

“We can confirm that search warrants have been executed in several locations in the Northeast in connection with the investigation into the attempted Times Square bombing,” Bamford said. “A number of individuals encountered during the searches were taken into federal custody for alleged immigration violations.“

Bamford said the searches “are the product of evidence that has been gathered in the investigation subsequent to the attempted Times Square bombing and do not relate to any known immediate threat to the public or active plot against the United States."

LOTS MORE INFO . . .including identifying suspects here

2000 gray Honda Accord
traced to Mohammad Bakht Zameen as one of the suspects in the case.

Federal agents roped off a Mobil station in Brookline Thursday morning, raiding the building along with a gray Honda Accord in the parking lot.
A man being questioned inside the gas station was believed to be the owner of the gray Honda, police told NECN. Police are unsure of his relation to the owner of the gas station, who is a well-known member of the Brookline community, Elias Audy. As off 11 a.m., the man under questioning had not been released from the gas station.
FBI officials were inside the Mobil station throughout the morning, pulling material out of the building’s bays — it is unclear exactly what they were doing. The focus of the investigation was on a gray Honda Accord registered to Mohammad Bakht Zameen of 39 Waverley Avenue in Watertown, Mass. That residence was also raided by FBI officials Thursday morning.

Greetings from today's Jihad Capital of the USA. Just got back from Brimfield and if you know what that is you'll know why I can hardly walk and my brain is mush.

So have fun with that.

Heard about the raids driving home, not much to add except that a caller to our talk radion pointed out that there are quite a large number of They Who Shall Not Be Named moving into the working-class town where Boston's Logan Airport is located. Might just be for convenience. Getting in or going out, couldn't say.
