Hooded Muslim Butchers Slaughter Commuters in the Philippines
From Weasel Zippers:(Associated Press) — MANILA, Philippines – About 30 hooded attackers, believed to be Abu Sayyaf militants, shot and hacked horrified victims running for their lives in the southern Philippines, police said Thursday. Four died and six were wounded in the brazen attack.
The al-Qaida-linked militants apparently were trying to divert government troops from a weekslong offensive in a nearby town, said Antonio Mendoza, police chief for the island province of Basilan.
Most of the victims were commuters in a passenger jeep going home from Basilan’s capital of Isabela City. The attackers were positioned on a hill and opened fire with rifles. Two passengers died instantly and others jumped from the jeep to flee, Mendoza said.
“They were fired upon as they ran. One of the attackers hacked a 10-year-old boy, who survived,” Mendoza told The Associated Press.
“We found the bodies and survivors scattered outside the jeep. It’s sad, these outlaws don’t have any regard for life.

I'm sure the UN will convene an investigation immediately to look into this. It is inappropriate that these 30 'freedom fighters' met such resistance. The Philipines must be roundly condemned for the atrocity their 'commuters' perpetrated.
...what, no Israeli victims? Then feel free to wipe out the Abu Sayyaf terrorists.
Well, that's a good joke (bitter irony), and I accept the point, but let's see,
my wife's family fled the Philippines back in 1975 because of the Muslims in Mindanao and Basilan.
Here we are, 35 years later, and the Muslims in Mindanao and Basilan are still causing trouble.
No one is wiping them out, and no one will do so.
Sorry - had no idea you have a direct connection. Glad your wife (and hopefully her family) go out. So much strife around the world is connected to this religion that claims to be about "peace."
No reason to be sorry, but because her father gives me direct testimony on the problems in the Philippines, I try to relate the truth to people.
