WTF?

You've got to love the media and their Government sponsors, on any continent.

You would think, with something as urgent as a terror threat warning, they could get their stories straight.

But instead we get "it's in it's embryonic stage."

Drone strikes have thwarted

increased activity by a more diverse set of groups and a more diverse set of threats
There are some pretty notable threat streams

The Threat is/was advanced but not imminent

So what is it? Either it is or it isn't. It's been stopped or it hasn't. They need to get the goddamned story right and straight because anything less confuses and frightens people and kills what little credibility they have left, which causes so many others to ignore it and let their guard down at a time that it can't be afforded.

Which does nothing to allay my suspicions that the governments are doing it for politics and the networks for ratings.

And National Security be damned.
