Muslims Encounter Jinns on Halloween in Salem!

In Islamic mythology (and what isn't, in Islam) a "jinn" is a spirit lower in class than angels and capable of taking on human or animal forms. Every October 31 the streets of Salem, Massachusetts, are full of "jinns" -- or rather, inventively costumed humans (and non-costumed, drunk college kids, but I digress) celebrating Halloween. Here are a few snapshots from last night's street party. Note the little group in the middle of the 3 horizontal photos. This family of Muslims were sitting under a tree on Congress Street rather solemnly watching the passing bizarrity but not participating (not even the kids). They were just moving away up the street when I got this picture.

For Muslim women wearing those curtains and facemasks, every day is halloween.

I did ask if that fool in front with the keffiyah if they were enjoying the jinns, and got a real funny look back. There are police everywhere in during the Halloween street party, and it would be interesting to know if any of them were keeping an eye on this lot.

It's ironic -- a whole city full of Total Weirdness, everyone partying, having a good time, and this little subdued knot of people just sort of taking it all in. That event is a shahid's dream what will all the costumes everywhere, hope none of them got any ideas for the future.

Pathetic bunch of mindless drones, what do you know about the jinn? Ask your illuminati dads about them but then agen their secret knowledge isnt for the ignorant and they are ripped from the same cloth as us, but only those who believe are guided and the truth will be revealed. You guys are just slaves to your desires, your wants and needs, whereas the muslim is a slave to god and god only, not haloween costumes and beer bottles, wot a pathetic excuse for an existence that is short lived!God damn shame aint it......
