Obama now is getting under my skin ..FOR REAL
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- With a new mandate looming that will require business owners to file millions more tax forms, the Internal Revenue Service has begun the daunting process of figuring out how to turn the law's sweeping demands into actual rules for taxpayers.
The new regulations, which kick in at the start of 2012, require any taxpayer with business income to issue 1099 forms to all vendors from whom they purchased more than $600 of goods and services that year. That promises to launch a fusillade of new paperwork: An estimated 40 million taxpayers will be subject to the requirement, including 26 million who run sole proprietorships, according to a report released this week by National Taxpayer Advocate Nina Olson.
As a small business owner this means ... at least a dozen software companies, a dozen hardware companies, Walmart for our low end 8.5" x 11 paper. Xerox for our high end good stuff for brochures. Newegg, CDW, our ISP, our Fax service, our voicemail, our business vehicle repair people, even the guy who fixes the chain saw and snow throwers, the cell phones, the landlines, the electric company, the cable company, Lowes and Home Depot, SAMS Club, BJ's, the guy who delivers our heating wood, ... It will be a never ending cascade of reporting. My business will be reporting to the government.

Saudi Arabia Refuses Pakistani Diplomat Over Vulgar Name Translation
In an unfortunate result of translation, Pakistani diplomat Akbar Zeb will not become the next Pakistani ambassador to Saudi Arabia. Zeb’s credentials seem in order: He is the former ambassador to the United States, India and South Africa. He held the post of High Commissioner Designate of Pakistan to Canada and is the former director general of Pakistan's Foreign Ministry.
But despite Mr. Zeb’s impressive career, the 55-year-old diplomat’s name proved to be the immovable hurdle. When translated into Arabic, Akbar Zeb means “Biggest Dick.” In a region that stresses modesty, particularly in public, this could not stand.
This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.
Dear President Obama,
My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don’t believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.
I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos’n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor, allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.
One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.
So here goes.
I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.
I can’t figure out what country you are the president of.
You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:
" We’re no longer a Christian nation"
" America is arrogant"
Your wife even announced to the world,"America is mean- spirited. " Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our war dead buried all over the globe who died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.)
I’d say shame on the both of you, but I don’t think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.
After 9/11 you said," America hasn’t lived up to her ideals."
Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn’t mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.
I don’t think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.
Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.
Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don’t, I’ll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue. You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.
And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don’t want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts, who was putting up a fight? You don’t mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don’t want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.
One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you’re the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you’re not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you’re thinking of.
You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.
You’re not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That’s not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now.
And I sure as hell don’t want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.
Harold B. Estes
When a 95 year old hero of the "the Greatest Generation" stands up and speaks out like this, I think we owe it to him to send his words to as many Americans as we can.
Pres. Obama is the best fundraiser the Dem Party has, but his drawing power is way down from its peak during the '08 campaign.
Obama is heading to MO and NV today to raise money for Sec/State Robin Carnahan (D), running for an open Senate seat, and Senate Maj. Leader Harry Reid.
But Carnahan's campaign wasn't able to completely sell out the Folly Theater, where Obama will appear for a grassroots event on Carnahan's behalf, at the prices they wanted. Tickets once priced at $250 are now going for $99, while $35 tickets are half off.
...Let’s be fair; it’s only natural to charge half price when Obama’s job approval is roughly half what it once was.
Also note the name, “Folly Theater.” The Foolishness Arena was booked, apparently.
Republicans are chuckling over BHO's drop in appeal. Dr. Jack Wheeler, however, warns of an October surprise:
...I have lost count now of the number of predictions being made of a GOP "tsunami" in November. Serious political analysts, soberly and without hyperbole, are saying that Dem losses in the House, Senate, Governor's mansions, et al, are likely to be of "historic" proportions.
And every one of them unfailingly comes with a caveat, something along the lines of, "barring some huge unexpected disaster for the GOP." Now, if you were Rahm Emanuel, what would that caveat cause you to think about?...
In unusually blunt remarks, Ambassador Yousef al-Otaiba publicly endorsed the use of the military option for countering Iran's nuclear program, if sanctions fail to stop the country's quest for nuclear weapons.
"I think it's a cost-benefit analysis," Mr. al-Otaiba said. "I think despite the large amount of trade we do with Iran, which is close to $12 billion ... there will be consequences, there will be a backlash and there will be problems with people protesting and rioting and very unhappy that there is an outside force attacking a Muslim country; that is going to happen no matter what."
"If you are asking me, 'Am I willing to live with that versus living with a nuclear Iran?,' my answer is still the same: 'We cannot live with a nuclearIran.' I am willing to absorb what takes place at the expense of the security of the U.A.E."
Mr. al-Otaiba made his comments in response to a question after a public interview session with the Atlantic magazine at the Aspen Ideas Festival here. They echo those of some Arab diplomats who have said similar things in private to their American counterparts but never this bluntly in public.
John R. Bolton, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said the comments reflect the views of many Arab states in the Persian Gulf region that "recognize the threat posed by a nuclear Iran."
"They also know -- and worry -- that the Obama administration's policies will not stop Iran," he told The Times in a separate interview.
Mr. al-Otaiba said that his country would be the last Arab country to cut a deal with Iran, if Tehran were to go nuclear. But he predicted other wealthy Arab states in the Gulf would dump their alliances with the U.S. in favor of ties with Tehran if President Obama does not stop the Islamic republic's quest to become a nuclear power.
"There are many countries in the region that if they lack assurance that the U.S. is willing to confrontIran, they will start running for cover with Iran," he said. "Small, rich, vulnerable countries do not want to stick their finger in the big boy's eye if they do not have the backing of the United States."
The ambassador also said that "talk of containment and deterrence really concerns me and makes me very nervous."
He said Iran has not been deterred from supporting terrorist groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah now, when it doesn't have a nuclear arsenal. So why, he asked rhetorically, would Iran be more cautious in its support for terrorism if it did.
"Why should I be led to believe that deterrence and containment will work?" he asked.
Mr. al-Otaiba also said that an Iranian acquisition would set off a nuclear arms race in the region, predicting that Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Turkey would all start nuclear programs if Iran acquired such weapons.
He said however that the U.A.E. would not seek to transform its peaceful energy program into a military one in that situation.
The ambassador in the end stressed that his country would not tolerate a nuclear Iran.
"The United States may be able to live with it," he said. "We can't."

Any IBA members planning to participate?
As most know, I'm in Northern Virginia, very close to Washington, D.C. Both Mr. AOW and I want to attend, but I don't know (1) if he'll be up to the task and (2) if he's able, how I'll physically push a wheelchair all day long.
Now, I can participate by myself, but I would like some company - with or without Mr. AOW.
My house doesn't offer luxurious accommodations, but I can put up a few guests here - more than a few if they have sleeping bags. My back yard can also function as a camping ground. Seriously.
My email contact information is at my web site, toward the top of the right sidebar.
HEY! YOU THERE! In Pakistan! Yeah, I mean you cowering in Islamabad. Whatcha doing looking atAnna Chapman's Nude Photos? You're not supposed to be doing that. What if your Imamma finds out? So you can't be tempted by that kind of stuff? Why doncha all Outlaw the fucking things? Have a burqa burning party? Then you won't have to be sneaking peaks on your computer.
(Haaretz.com) — Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad questioned the historic dimensions of the Holocaust but rejected the label of an anti-Semite, the Fars news agency reported Friday.
“The West made a claim – about the Holocaust – and urges all the people in the world to accept it or otherwise go to prison,” Ahmadinejad told a group of Islamic scholars Thursday in Nigeria, where he attended a summit of the Developing Eight, a group of countries with large Muslim populations.
“The West allows everybody to question prophets and even God but not to pose a simple question and open the black box of a historic event,” he charged.
Ahmadinejad had earlier sparked international fury by calling for the eradication of Israel from the Middle East and its relocation to Europe or North America and by describing the murders of 6 million European Jews by Germany’s Nazi regime as a “fairy tale.”
He said Thursday that the Holocaust was an excuse for Israel and the West to take land away from millions of Palestinians and give it to Israel.
Iran does not recognize Israel and maintains that a referendum by all Palestinians, including refugees, and Jews should decide the future fate of a Palestinian state.
“We are after a diplomatic settlement through a referendum, but they [the West] say Ahmadinejad wants to kill people and is an anti-Semite,” the Iranian president said.
“No, this is wrong,” he added. “I love all Muslims, Christians and Jews. What I dislike are the Zionists, which are a party that has availed itself of the Holocaust as an excuse to establish the illegitimate state of Israel."
Sanjos Metropolitan School has more then its share of problems
Kerala INDIA - 7/9/10
"The holistic information of the students is our aim and therefore we have selected a scenic and spacious site for the school, namely, the St. Joseph's Cathedral premises on the Holloway road 300 meters north to the Tellicherry court junction providing the most fitting ambiance for fulfilling our dream. The Arabian Sea is just a stone's throw away and the noises neither of the city nor the traffic disturb the tranquility of the school."
But its not all peace and tranquility.
Sanjos Metropolitan School has more then its share of problems. A beautiful, modern school dedicated to co-educational school providing education in a secular environment. The problem they are having is that the school has 40% muslim students and the muslims representing those students have started to make demands on the school. Demands that normally exceed the secular rule. Muslims are demanding that the girls be "allowed" to wear the Islamic headscarf. They demand that the male students be allowed to leave on Fridays for prayer. Now these are just for starters. We can only surmise, that if the school capitulates and agrees to these demands, then more requests for the Islamic students will be following shortly. We know that the demands just don't stop. They keep coming.
Now this is a Catholic school. You would ask..."Why even allow muslim students?
Well...because Sanjos believes in imparting a quality education for the intellectual development of all the students who enroll in the school. Muslims included. For that they should be praised, not forced to change their operations, dress code, curriculum to accommodate a religious ideology.
" dear infidel friends we are very happy that at least someone is there to support us .kindly make aware all the christian schools to beware of these people and encourage them not to give in . the ursuline convent school kannur is also facing the same problem ." - sanjos
So there you have it Infidels. How would you react if Islam, in the United States, stared making demands at your son or daughters high school?....and then they kept the demands coming. And those demands started costing you money. Those new demands started infringing on your students rights.....think about it. Wouldn't you want to know there was someone out there to give you support, maybe try to help you in some way? Of course, and that's why we're here.
Send your support!! Call or write Principal Sister Rosemary:

He has been married to his wife, Robin, a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, for 27 years, and they have three children, two of whom are adopted." In "The Muslim mosque: A state within a state" at Atlas Shrugs, July 9, he explains the political significance of the Islamic mosque:
THE KAABA IN MECCA WAS NOT BUILT AS AN ISLAMIC MOSQUE. It was an ancient temple that had been shared by polytheists, Christians, Jews, and Hindus, honoring 360 different deities. In 630 A.D. the Kaaba was captured by Islam in its military invasion and conquest of Mecca. On the day of its capture, Muhammad delivered an address at the Kaaba in military dress and helmet, according to Ayatullah Ja'far Subhani in his book, "The Message":
"Bear in mind that every claim of privilege, whether that of blood or property is abolished . . . I reject all claims relating to life and property and all imaginary honors of the past, and declare them to be baseless . . . A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim and all the Muslims are brothers of one another and constitute one hand as against the non-Muslims. The blood of every one of them is equal to that of others and even the smallest among them can make a promise on behalf of others." --Muhammad
Muhammad's address at the Kaaba overthrew the Meccan government and declared all of Islam, anywhere in the world, to be a political and military state against all non-Muslims, regardless of the non-Muslims' political, geographical, or national origins.
"If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him." --Quran 3:85
Although the rightful owners of the Kaaba are the many religions that shared it before the Islamic military conquest of Mecca, according to Subhani the Kaaba today is under the control of a hereditary regime going back to Muhammad: "currently the 12th Imam from the direct descent of the Prophet of Islam is the real protector, its custodian and guardian."
All Islamic mosques everywhere in the world are required to have a clear visible indication pointing in the direction of Mecca and the Kaaba, where the international political and military state of Islam was founded. In most mosques there is a niche in the wall--the mihrab--that points toward the seat of Islamic power. Each mosque, like the Kaaba, is governed by an Imam in compliance with the political documents of Islam.
Mosques and the Political Documents of Islam
The Quran is the supreme political document of Islam--its political manifesto and political constitution. It is the only constitution of the nation-state Saudi Arabia, which is the home of Mecca and the Kaaba, where all mosques point, and is the birthplace of Islam.
The Quran is a totalitarian constitution. It demands submission by anyone within its jurisdiction. The Quran governs all mosques everywhere in the world.
As a political document, the Quran asserts that everyone in the world is within its jurisdiction. So far, Islam has not been able to enforce that totalitarian claim on the entire world, but has managed to do so through threat, infiltration, violence, terrorism, and coercion on roughly 20% of the world. It is engaged in a 1400-year-long Universal Jihad to dominate the rest of the world. All mosques are its outpost headquarters.
Central to the Quran's political mandates is prohibition of religious freedom and religious tolerance, along with denouncements of religions such as Christianity and Judaism.
"O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them." --Quran 5:51
"Fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war)" --Quran 9:5
All mosque leaders must be loyal to and supportive of these political and militaristic mandates.
The Quran as a political document also forbids separation of church and state.
That is why every Islamic nation, where Islamic leaders have managed to gain power, is a theocracy, ruled by the Quran and Islamic Sharia law.
Pope Pius XII, the controversial wartime pontiff, may have saved thousands of Jews by secretly securing visas so they could escape Nazi Germany, a historian has claimed.
By Simon Caldwell
Pope Pius, who was labelled “Hitler’s Pope” because of his silence during the Holocaust, may have arranged the exodus of about 200,000 Jews from Germany just three weeks after Kristallnacht, when thousands of Jews were rounded up and sent to concentration camps.
The claim was made by Dr Michael Hesemann, a German historian carrying out research in the Vatican archives for the Pave the Way Foundation, a US-based inter-faith group.
He said that Cardinal Eugenio Pacelli – the future Pius XII – wrote to Catholic archbishops around the world to urge them to apply for visas for “non-Aryan Catholics” and Jewish converts to Christianity who wanted to leave Germany.
Elliot Hershberg, the chairman of the Pave the Way Foundation, said:“ We believe that many Jews who were successful in leaving
Europe may not have had any idea that their visas and travel documents were obtained through these Vatican efforts.
“Everything we have found thus far seems to indicate
the known negative perception of Pope Pius XII is wrong.”
Pius XII was criticised for failing to denounce explicitly the Holocaust, the Nazi regime or to excommunicate Hitler.
Dr Hesemann says that additional evidence suggests that the visas would have been given to ordinary Jews desperate to escape persecution.
“The fact that this letter speaks of 'converted Jews’ and 'non-Aryan’ Catholics indeed seems to be a cover,” said Dr Hesemann.
“You couldn’t be sure that Nazi agents wouldn’t learn about this initiative,” he said.
“Pacelli had to make sure they didn’t misuse it for their propaganda, that they could not claim that the Church is an ally of the Jews.”
The appeal from Cardinal Pacelli, then the Vatican’s Secretary of State, was dated Nov 30, 1938 – 20 days after Kristallnacht, the “night of broken glass”.
Cardinal Pacelli was able to ask for the visas because the 1933 concordat he signed with the Nazis specifically provided protection for Jews who converted to Christianity.
Dr Ed Kessler, the director of the Cambridge-based Woolf Institute of Abrahamic Faiths, said: “It is clear that Pius XII facilitated the saving of Roman Jews.”
In December, Pope Benedict XVI placed Pius one step closer to sainthood when he declared him “Venerable”, meaning that the Church believes he lived a life of “heroic virtue”.
Two miracles are needed to canonise him as a saint and the Vatican is investigating at least one apparently inexplicable healing.
Some Jewish groups want the process frozen until the Vatican is ready to open its secret wartime archives in 2014.
Sir Martin Gilbert, a British historian and the world’s leading expert on the Holocaust, has said that Pope Pius XII should be considered as a “Righteous Gentile” by Yad Vashem, the Israeli Holocaust remembrance authority.

55 Percent of Likely Voters Find ‘Socialist’ an Accurate Label of Obama?
July 09, 2010 9:13 AM By Jim Geraghty
The latest poll by Democracy Corps, the firm of James Carville and Stan Greenberg, has Republicans leading on the generic ballot among likely voters, 48 percent to 42 percent.
Deep in the poll, they ask, “Now, I am going to read you a list of words and phrases which people use to describe political figures. For each word or phrase, please tell me whether it describes Barack Obama very well, well, not too well, or not well at all.”
On “too liberal,” 35 percent of likely voters say it describes Obama “very well,” 21 percent say “well,” 21 percent say “not too well,” and 17 percent say “not well at all.” In other words, 56 percent of likely voters consider Obama too liberal.
When asked about “a socialist,” 33 percent of likely voters say it describes Obama “very well,” 22 percent say “well,” 15 percent say “not too well,” and 25 percent say “not well at all.”
In other words, 55 percent of likely voters think “socialist” is a reasonably accurate way of describing Obama.
A photo taken by a resident in Hangzhou shows an unidentified flying object hovering over Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, late Wednesday, July 7, 2010. [Photo/Metro Express]
An unidentified flying object (UFO) disrupted air traffic over Zhejiang's provincial capital Hangzhou late on Wednesday, the municipal government said on Thursday.
Xiaoshan Airport was closed after the UFO was detected at around 9 pm, and some flights were rerouted to airports in the cities of Ningbo and Wuxi , said an airport spokesman, who declined to be named.
The airport had resumed operations, and more details will be released after an investigation, he said.
A source with knowledge of the matter, however, told China Daily on Thursday that authorities had learned what the UFO was after an investigation.
But it was not the proper time to publicly disclose the information because there was a military connection, he said, adding that an official explanation is expected to be given on Friday.
(UK) Omar Butt just can't get over the fact that he lives in the UK and not in some Islamic tribal society where the will of devout Islamists rule the roost. Which may help explain how he keeps getting into trouble with the old bill and where, thanks to our human rights laws (Muslims can only be victims), he keeps getting let off... scot-free.
So when Omar had his day in court for refusing to treat NHS patients who didn't wear the burka, he got off scot-free. When he was in court for knocking down a policewoman with his car... he got off scot-free. When he was in court for losing all his patients' docs (10,000 people)... he got off scot-free.
Well, Omar is in trouble again. It appears that he and a few others have been inventing patients in which to milk the NHS. I wonder what the chances are this pious Muslim will get off scot-free again.
(WaPo)- President Obama’s pick to lead military operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and the Middle East is an experienced ground combat commander, but also earned a stern rebuke in 2005 for controversial comments about combat operations.
Marine Corps Gen. James Mattis, then a lieutenant general, told a crowd in San Diego that it was “fun to shoot some people” and said that some Afghans deserved to die.
“You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years, because they didn’t wear a veil,” Mattis said. “You know guys like that ain’t got no manhood left anyway. So it’s a hell of a lot of fun to shoot ’em.”
New York politicians are bending over backwards, violating protocol, to build a mega mosque at Ground Zero. In warped speed they are ramming it through, removing every obstacle to expedite the process and erect a triumphal mosque at Ground Zero in time for it to meet its stated opening date, the tenth anniversary of September 11th. Why? Would they do this for a church? A synagogue? This is an outrage.

In another feeble attempt to add fuel to the "Muslim hate crime" myth, a Muslim was arrested today in the Marietta mosque "arson" case. How many times have we seen this? Muslims deliberately setting fires, vandalizing mosques, etc.? And of course, whenever there is a mosque story of arson, vandalism, etc., unindicted co-conspirator, Hamas-linked CAIR clubs us with these stories for weeks, demanding DoJ involvement, and hate crime legislation (from hate sponsors, that's rich!). And then when the light of truth shines, off they run scurrying into their dark corners and damp lairs once again .....until next time.
CAIR cites the July 9, 2004 case of apparent arson at a Muslim-owned grocery store in Everett, Washington. But investigators quickly determined that Mirza Akram, the store's operator, staged the arson to avoid meeting his scheduled payments and to collect on an insurance policy. Although Akram's antics were long ago exposed as a fraud, CAIR continues to list this case as an anti-Muslim hate crime.
CAIR also states that "a Muslim-owned market was burned down in Texas" on August 6, 2004. But already a month later, the owner was arrested for having set fire to his own business. Why does CAIR include this incident in its report?
CAIR lists the March 2005 lawsuit filed by the Salmi family for the firebombing of their family van as one example of a hate crime report it received in 2004. However, the crime named in the lawsuit occurred in March 2003, was already reported by CAIR in 2003, and should not have been tabulated again in the 2004 report.
CAIR reports that "a home-made bomb exploded outside of the Champions Mosque in the Houston suburb of Spring, Texas," staking its claim on eyewitness reports that on July 4, 2004, "two white males" were seen placing the bomb. We inquired about the incident and found that Spring's sheriff department could not locate any police files about an explosion. Further inquiries to the mosque and an e-mail to CAIR both went unanswered. There is scant evidence that any crime even occurred.
CAIR notes that "investigators in Massachusetts are still investigating a potential hate-motivated arson against the Al-Baqi Islamic Center in Springfield." However the case was long ago ruled a simple robbery, news that even CAIR's own website has posted. The Associated Press reported on January 21, 2005, that prosecutors determined the fire was set by teen-age boys "who broke into the Al-Baqi mosque to steal money and candy, then set the fire to cover their tracks." The boys, they clarified, "weren't motivated by hatred toward Muslims."
CAIR describes what happened to a Muslim family in Tucson, Arizona: "bullet shots pierced their home as they ate dinner in October 2004" and two months later their truck was smashed and vandalized. But the only evidence that either incident was motivated by hate of Muslims is the Dehdashti family itself, not the police. Detective Frank Rovi of Pima County Sheriff's Department, who handled the shooting investigation, said that according to the neighbors, the desert area by the Dehdashti house was often used for target practice. Neither incident was classified as a hate crime and both cases were closed by February 2005, long before the CAIR report went to press.
Of twenty "anti-Muslim hate crimes" in 2004 that CAIR describes, at least six are invalid – and further research could likely find problems with the other fourteen instances.
Should a group with a track record like this really be given a pass by AP and Minnesota education authorities?
"Obviously you don't believe in killing white babies" "Um, not in that context, no sir, no" "What context?" "Just for the sake of this interview, no context. . .There are too many other white forces out here that are much more powerful that I, as a man, would focus on. I wouldn't focus on the babies, sir, I'd focus on the police"
Muslim Enclaves U.S.A. Posted By Ryan Mauro On July 9, 2010
It seems almost unthinkable, but Islamist groups are, as we speak, hard at work creating Muslim states-within-states in the U.S. Indeed, this process has been unfolding for a long time across the Western world, through the creation of isolated Muslim enclaves in both rural and urban areas, as well as through the designation of “no-go zones” where governments admit to having little authority over Muslims living there, essentially leaving them to function as autonomous regions.
Daniel Pipes has tracked numerous examples since 2004 of Muslim groups working to create communities based solely on Islam and run by Sharia law. As discussed by David Kennedy Houck in 2006, “Although such concepts are antithetical to a free society, U.S. democracy allows the internal enclave to function beyond the established boundaries of our constitutional framework.”
For example, one such community, Gwynn Oak, has been created in Baltimore, Maryland, consisting of Muslim immigrants and African-American converts. The project is led by John Yahya Cason, director of the Islamic Education and Community Development Initiative. Cason explained that the neighborhood is a response to the problem that “Muslim communities are ruled by Western societal tenets, many of which clash with Islamic norms.” In his opinion, there is a need for communities with “the totality of the essential components of Muslim social, economic, and political structure.” As such, the Gwynn Oak enclave follows specific moral rules based on Islam and people there speak Arabic. On September 13, 2009, the construction of its three-story mosque began. Approximately 400 Muslims now live in the vicinity.
Another example involves the Islamic Center for Human Excellence, which receives funding from the United Arab Emirates. In August 2004, it was granted permission to build a Muslim neighborhood in Little Rock, Arkansas, complete with a mosque, school, and 22 homes; it would not allow the presence of alcohol. The goal was for Muslims to find an area to escape the alleged crime and depravity of American life, although the imam behind the effort said that non-Muslims are welcome to join.
Far more radical groups than these are now taking the lead in promoting and creating Islamic enclaves on U.S. soil. Read more »
The Truth About Illegals By Ion Mihai Pacepa on 7.9.10
The recent arrest of ten Russian illegal officers targeted against us -- a superb performance on the part of our intelligence and law enforcement agencies -- proves that the Kremlin still looks upon the United States as the main enemy. Most of the details about these new cases are still classified by the FBI. One thing is clear, however; this is not just business as usual -- "we spy, they spy." The Kremlin's illegal officers have traditionally been dispatched to enemy countries to form an alternative presence there, should war break out and force the legal embassies to close; and to constitute a "homegrown" skeleton of the pro-Moscow governments that the Kremlin dreamed of setting up in those countries at the end of the war. In other words, vitally important assignments.
Today, most of the American media seem to find the notion of illegal officers a joke, calling them spy-novel fantasies, hilariously funny characters or do-nothing sleepers. No wonder. There are no books on the subject. The true nature of illegal operations, unique to the Russian intelligence community, has been an extremely tightly held secret. In 1964 I became a deputy chief of the Romanian foreign intelligence service, the DIE, but it was only eight years later that I realized now little I had actually known -- that was when my former KGB adviser, General Aleksandr Sakharovsky, by then the Soviet Union's spy chief, gave me supervisory authority over Romania's illegal operations.
The term "illegal" has nothing to do with the idea of law breaking. Every spy breaks the law. In Russian intelligence terminology, a legal officer is one who is assigned abroad to a Russian embassy or other official government representation. An illegal assumes a non-Russian identity and appears abroad as someone who has no connection whatsoever with Russia. In any Western country, an illegal looks and acts just like your next-door neighbor.
An illegal never set foot in the intelligence service's headquarters. His training was conducted on an individual basis in safe houses, where the trainee was continuously monitored through concealed microphones. The DIE had some 150 safe houses only for illegal officers. The general rule was that an illegal operating in a Western country should not be known to the official, or "legal," intelligence station in that country, and that communications with him should be conducted through illegal couriers specially trained for such duties. Another rule was that the contact with an illegal should always be maintained through impersonal means in his country of assignment, and that personal meetings with him should take place only in safe third countries. While an illegal was assigned abroad, his parents -- and wife, if he had left one behind -- would understand that he had been sent to work in a remote country, such as Mongolia, where he could not be reached by phone. Letters from his family back home were always pulled out of the mails by the intelligence service, and some of them were shown to the illegal whenever he returned back to his country to "recharge his batteries" -- i.e., to be further indoctrinated and trained. Dems plan to ram thru legislation after election, but before new congress sits
An UNBELIEVABLE STORY!!
Democratic House members are so worried about the fall elections they're leaving Washington on July 30, a full week earlier than normal--and they won't return until mid-September. Members gulped when National Journal's Charlie Cook, the Beltway's leading political handicapper, predicted last month "the House is gone," meaning a GOP takeover. He thinks Democrats will hold the Senate, but with a significantly reduced majority.
The rush to recess gives Democrats little time to pass any major laws. That's why there have been signs in recent weeks that party leaders are planning an ambitious, lame-duck session to muscle through bills in December they don't want to defend before November. Retiring or defeated members of Congress would then be able to vote for sweeping legislation without any fear of voter retaliation.
I've got lots of things I want to do" in a lame duck, Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D., W. Va.) told reporters in mid June. North Dakota's Kent Conrad, chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, wants a lame-duck session to act on the recommendations of President Obama's deficit commission, which is due to report on Dec. 1. "It could be a huge deal," he told Roll Call last month. "We could get the country on a sound long-term fiscal path." By which he undoubtedly means new taxes in exchange for extending some, but not all, of the Bush-era tax reductions that will expire at the end of the year.
In the House, Arizona Rep. Raul Grijalva, co-chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, told reporters last month that for bills like "card check"--the measure to curb secret-ballot union elections--"the lame duck would be the last chance, quite honestly, for the foreseeable future."
Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin, chair of the Senate committee overseeing labor issues, told the Bill Press radio show in June that "to those who think [card check] is dead, I say think again." He told Mr. Press "we're still trying to maneuver" a way to pass some parts of the bill before the next Congress is sworn in.
Other lame-duck possibilities? Senate ratification of the New Start nuclear treaty, a federally mandated universal voter registration system to override state laws, and a budget resolution to lock in increased agency spending.
Then there is pork. A Senate aide told me that "some of the biggest porkers on both sides of the aisle are leaving office this year, and a lame-duck session would be their last hurrah for spending." Likely suspects include key members of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Congress's "favor factory," such as Pennsylvania Democrat Arlen Specter and Utah Republican Bob Bennett.
Conservative groups such as FreedomWorks are alarmed at the potential damage, and they are demanding that everyone in Congress pledge not to take up substantive legislation in a post-election session. "Members of Congress are supposed to represent their constituents, not override them like sore losers in a lame-duck session," Rep. Tom Price, head of the Republican Study Committee, told me.
It's been almost 30 years since anything remotely contentious was handled in a lame-duck session, but that doesn't faze Democrats who have jammed through ObamaCare and are determined to bring the financial system under greater federal control.
Mike Allen of Politico.com reports one reason President Obama failed to mention climate change legislation during his recent, Oval Office speech on the Gulf oil spill was that he wants to pass a modest energy bill this summer, then add carbon taxes or regulations in a conference committee with the House, most likely during a lame-duck session. The result would be a climate bill vastly more ambitious, and costly for American consumers and taxpayers, than moderate "Blue Dogs" in the House would support on the campaign trail. "We have a lot of wiggle room in conference," a House Democratic aide told the trade publication Environment & Energy Daily last month.
Many Democrats insist there will be no dramatic lame-duck agenda. But a few months ago they also insisted the extraordinary maneuvers used to pass health care wouldn't be used. Desperate times may be seen as calling for desperate measures, and this November the election results may well make Democrats desperate.
It started with a scrotal tightening thrill of fear when we heard "We are 5 days away from fundamentally changing the USA"
Is that what he said, because that's what I heard?
Apparently so did many others.
By the time Van Jones got thrown under, the warnings by the 'right wing fringe' all during the Ayers, Wright, McPeak, Power, episodes, as these worriers were portrayed began to make some others wonder with an eyebrow tensing glare.
Then came the Guantanamo Bay shuffle. Signing the order to close followed by the admission by action that closing it was impossible, and then the silence by the MSM.
The Czars continued to be appointed and suddenly people began to wonder about republicans who voted to confirm a man who wrote that t the Constitution doesn't mean what it says, or what it did .. as the overall champion of executive regulation and bureaucracy.
Obama goes to the Olympic Committee, after a tour apologizing for past American actions and our way life, parasitically sucking up more energy resources than many others, gets embarrassed by them and proceeds to bow to the Al Saud.
The takeovers of GM and forced sale of Chrysler might have had a salutary effect on the individuals and institutions that held those bonds when it was plain that the entire matter was handled in a way to benefit those in the unions who made the decisions to where political funding went. After all, if GM simply stopped producing those skilled workers would have found demand for their services by Toyota, Nissan, Kia, Hyundai, etc. And now we see that GM is trying to find a way to borrow the money to pay for the government seized equity and loaned funds from Obama. No doubt they are seeking unused stimulus funds, perhaps the same funds some republicans wanted to use for extended unemployment.
And then came Health Care, supported by a government-Krupp/Bayer/BASF like front not seen since the mid to late 30's. It was spported by the pharma industry, insurance industry, AMA, and the SEIU's. A little thought and one can see why. Short term self interest, fear of govt power and desire for it over time looking forward, and demagogued passivity. It passes amid a slew of deals so disgusting to so many that some of the key congressmen on whom sunshine fell, can no longer compete for a seat. The day after passage some major companies announce they must reserve so much cash for the requirements of the bill they face layoffs, cancelled expansions and hiring freezes, as they are required by statute to do. Obama's supporters like Waxman in Congress demand hearings of these executives, who tell them quietly off, and no hearings are held. In the few months since, every announcement and analysis has demonstrated the increased costs we face as a result of this bill, the opposite of what was promised, and as warned by the so called right wing fringe. My own costs for the super govt program via their own site this past week show HIGHER COST for a plan with a $2500 a year higher deductible. When I applied for an application, NO RESPONSE was received.
By now, those called independents who had grown both tired of the Bush way, and sick of the partisan fighting from 2005-2008, and heard the better way promised by Obama were in alarm mode and watching every move.
This put the brakes on Obama as he said he saw no way that Cap and Trade, or Immigration Reform could be addressed anytime soon. This provoked the critical progressive left to proclaim true reform was impossible since the system was rigged against them and a Obama was a conservative corporate shill.
In the meantime Obama abandons the missile shield promised to new NATO members, fails to get main NATO members to live up to their obligations in Afghanistan (which sounds horrifyingly like what happened to Athens from 450-410 BC), watches Turkey go over the hill to a very popular at home Islamism amid treaty, friendship and infatuation with Iran, and with Iran and Brazil fluting his main desire to do away with nuclear weapons. And in the midst of this, punishes our main middle east ally who won't kowtow to his EVERY want by leaving him the White House basement, causing Americans who happen to be Jewish to sit up and wonder what happened in that church pew over 20 years.
In the 'good war' he transmits an end date as the army reveals a lack of respect for him and those around him so deep his political opposition supports their dismissal. But he DOES continue the no cost drone war.
And suddenly with Greece, and Spain a microscope sits atop both the short term deficit and long term debt (some of which is not his fault, but is on the watch he sought), and the unsolvable unemployment, which some wonder aloud about ever solving given america's growing need to pay the interest, and the new doubts large businesses have about what Obama will try in the remainder of his term. They wonder, according to one of Obama main supporters, how much cash they might need to survive.
Then comes BP and his Katrinoid response.
Of a piece we find out the #3 job of NASA is to make muslims feel better. Does this mean that the number 2 job of Robert Gates is to ensure iron worker union members are happy in Duluth? Or that HHS ensures Sikhs enjoying their holidays in the Punjab?
And finally the New Black Panther's escape from justice, apparently from an inner belief at justice by political appointees that blacks cannot be racists, and therefore cannot intimidate anyone at the polls.
Besides Obama's sparkling personality what do we have?
He points to the Health Care Bill as a success. GM as a success. The lack of the end of the economic world as a success.
He points out a truck company making electric vehicles as a success, and then we find out they only survived with massive federal aid to produce a truck it takes 100% more operating costs than a diesel to keep on the road.
He’s so passionate he decided to blow up 241 US Marines… (JPost)- The tweet in praise of Hizbullah spiritual mentor Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah that cost CNN senior Middle East editor Octavia Nasr her job on Thursday is nothing compared to a tribute to him that Britain’s ambassador to Beirut posted on her blog. Under the headline “The passing of decent men,” Frances Guy wrote Monday that “one of the privileges of being a diplomat is the people you meet; great and small, passionate and furious.”
She said Fadlallah was the politician in Lebanon she had enjoyed meeting most.
“When you visited him you could be sure of a real debate, a respectful argument and you knew you would leave his presence feeling a better person. That for me is the real effect of a true man of religion; leaving an impact on everyone he meets, no matter what their faith. Sheikh Fadlallah passed away yesterday. Lebanon is a lesser place the day after but his absence will be felt well beyond Lebanon’s shores.” Guy said she felt lucky having had the opportunity to meet Fadlallah. “The world needs more men like him willing to reach out across faiths, acknowledging the reality of the modern world and daring to confront old constraints. May he rest in peace,” she wrote. Guy’s post of a tribute to the man who strongly influenced Hizbullah, praised and endorsed suicide attacks inside Israel, said Zionists “inflated” the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust “beyond imagination,” and was on the US terrorist blacklist raised eyebrows in the Foreign Ministry. “Sheikh Fadlallah was behind hostage-taking, suicide bombings and other sorts of wanton violence, but Ambassador Guy said he was a man of peace, and Ambassador Guy is an honorable woman,” quipped ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor.
It was not clear Thursday whether Israel would lodge a formal protest with the British government over the matter
Britain appointed this person. If Britain does not fire this bitch, then Britain OWNS the statement, as we say here in America.
This is fucking disgusting. I would love to beat this bitch's face, with my closed fist, 241 fucking times.
Abu Hamza extradition to US blocked by European court European court of human rights will not allow Abu Hamza and three other men to be extradited until it is satisfied he will be treated humanely Vikram Dodd
Europe's highest court today said it would not allow Abu Hamza and three other men held in Britain to be extradited to the United States to face terrorism charges until it is satisfied they will not be treated inhumanely.
The European court of human rights' decision released this morning means it will in effect sit in judgment on parts of the US's criminal justice system.
It will decide if practices such as subjecting prisoners to prolonged periods of isolation and sentences of life without parole fall short of international standards.
The court in Strasbourg has already been considering the cases of the four men for three years, and has asked for more submissions to be made before it reaches a final ruling.
Hamza, the radical cleric who became the face of extremism in Britain, is serving a seven-year sentence in Britain after being convicted in 2006 of inciting hatred. The previous government had wanted him sent to the US before his jail term had been completed, but the extradition was halted after his lawyers went to the European court.
Lawyers for the men argued that if convicted, the conditions they would be held in were so severe they amounted to a breach of article three of the European convention on human rights. It says that no one should be subject to "inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment".
They said the men would be held in a "supermax" prison where inmates are subjected to isolation that critics say can damage their mental health. Read more »
Racial, Gender Quotas in the Financial Bill? By Diana Furchtgott-Roth
WASHINGTON - What one finds when reading congressional legislation is invariably surprising. Take the Dodd-Frank financial regulation bill, for instance, which was created by merging Senate and House bills. When the Senate returns from recess one of its first actions will be to vote on the bill, which passed the House on June 30.
I was searching the bill for a provision about derivatives. What did I find but Section 342, which declares that race and gender employment ratios, if not quotas, must be observed by private financial institutions that do business with the government. In a major power grab, the new law inserts race and gender quotas into America's financial industry.
In addition to this bill's well-publicized plans to establish over a dozen new financial regulatory offices, Section 342 sets up at least 20 Offices of Minority and Women Inclusion. This has had no coverage by the news media and has large implications.
The Treasury, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the 12 Federal Reserve regional banks, the Board of Governors of the Fed, the National Credit Union Administration, the Comptroller of the Currency, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau...all would get their own Office of Minority and Women Inclusion.
Each office would have its own director and staff to develop policies promoting equal employment opportunities and racial, ethnic, and gender diversity of not just the agency's workforce, but also the workforces of its contractors and sub-contractors.
What would be the mission of this new corps of Federal monitors? The Dodd-Frank bill sets it forth succinctly and simply - all too simply. The mission, it says, is to assure "to the maximum extent possible the fair inclusion" of women and minorities, individually and through businesses they own, in the activities of the agencies, including contracting. All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
“I’m quite confident that we’re going to rebel against this abusive government’
I think that we’re in a period today comparable to the American founding period in two senses: one, we’re worried about decay — we’re worried about whether we’re squandering our legacy and whether we’re calling into question whether people can really govern themselves — but also because, and this is the heartening part of this, today as never before in my lifetime, Americans have rekindled their interest in the founding era and the founding principles. Look at the wonderful sales of biographies of the founders: Washington, Hamilton, Jefferson, Madison. Look at the Tea Party, which I think frankly is one of the great events of my lifetime.
The American people go through life with a little crick of their necks from looking back at the past, and that’s healthy. We always relate to the Declaration and to the Constitution and here, along comes the Tea Party movement named after something that happened in 1773: the Boston Tea Party. And it’s called us back to reverence for, and understanding of, and insistence upon, the founding principles of limited government. So, in a good sense and a bad sense, I think we’re in the founding period.”

"An Islamic regime must be serious in every field," explained Ayatollah Khomeini. "There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humour in Islam. There is no fun in Islam."
"I want to be very, very clear, however: I understand and agree with the analysis of the problem. There is an imminent threat. It manifested itself on 9/11. It's real and grave. It is as serious a threat as Stalinism and National Socialism were. Let's not pretend it isn't." ~~~~~Bono~~~~~
