I've been pretty quiet here lately -- computer woes, for one thing.
But I come home from work every evening and read like mad on the web.
Honestly, I never thought I'd be reading some of the information in my lifetime.
What's going on domestically and internationally is damned depressing and surreal beyond description.
The world is spinning out of control and spiraling down.
Thank God my parents aren't alive to witness what I'm witnessing. Their hearts would break, I think.
Meanwhile, in a few weeks, my USMC cousin will be deployed for the first time -- to the Middle East. What the hell will he be marching into?
