UPDATED AT BOTTOM OF POST
Talking out of my ass her, it seems Muslims are tremendously under-represented in our troops, so why do they seem to be over-represented on the faculty of one of our top military schools?
From Her Royal Whyness:
Looking for news on this event I happened upon the following report:

The need to know about making immigration to Israel is growing more pressing with each new IBA post. We are surrendering; and while Britain may have now begun to fight back, I fear it is too late for them.
Where is Alexander when you need him?
Pastorius, I have a feeling that after Alexander reverts to us with good news that a group of us who read the IBA will show up at Ben Gurion at the same time to be greeted by the sign "Barukhim Habaim L'Israel" or "Welcome to Israel (Y'all)."
That would be nice. Hope so.
Many Virginia universities also are loaded with Moslems on faculties too.
In fact, many Virginia universities have partnerships with Middle Eastern countries.
Hi Guys.
I think this go's much deeper, look who participated and what the meeting was about it's according to me to stop free speech and start blasphemy laws.Read this:
At the international
level, the following universities were represented: Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain,
South-West University, Bulgaria; VMI, Lexington, Virginia, United States. Both participants and the audience underlined their preoccupation concerning the quality of
media productions, mainly high commercialization of media; partiality, disinformation/
misinformation and manipulation of public opinion; double standards; and the regrettable
deterioration of media ethics.

there is a need to teach arabic and other middle eastern languages now, just like russian was needed during cold war.
Rene, that is a good point. But, I do not recall our Military Academies celebrating the Soviet's occupation of Eastern Europe during the Cold War. VMI is teaching alot more than Arabic, Islamic doctrine, and culture. Those course titles sound like typical liberal "studies" courses designed to indoctrinate rather than educate.

Agree ... languages KEY
I mean WHERE can you even learn arabic, pushtu, urdu?
They can try to sway all they want, as long as they teach adequately, AND WE TAKE NOTE.
I'll place my bet on a bunch of VMI boyz.
I am NOT terribly troubled. Vigilance has revealed both the attempt to 'celebrate' and it's stupidity.
I mean you didn't think you were going to get a bunch of arabic speaking jefferson lovers didya?
I took the liberty of quoting HRW here:
What To Do about Enemy Propaganda at VMI?
