A note to Dan Rather about the difference between fiction and fact

This is actually sad.

Dan Rather implies Ohio GOP could steal the election

Former CBS newsman Dan Rather warned Facebook fans of his show on axs.tv that Mitt Romney could conceivably take Ohio, particularly since the state is controlled by Republicans.
“Keep in mind: The whole upper tier of Ohio state government is in the hands of the GOP now,” Rather explained in a Facebook post this morning. “In very close voting they have the power to influence what votes are counted and how.”
Rather warned, “Remember Ohio, Bush v. Kerry in 2004 and Florida, Bush v. Gore in 2000.”
So now though, the reality…

Ark. lawmaker pleads guilty to election charge

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A Democratic state legislator from east Arkansas, his father and two campaign workers pleaded guilty Wednesday to conspiracy to commit election fraud after federal prosecutors said the lawmaker’s campaign bribed absentee voters and destroyed ballots in a special election last year.

Prosecutors said Democratic Rep. Hudson Hallum of Marion, Kent Hallum, Phillip Wayne Carter and Sam Malone acknowledged that they participated in a conspiracy to bribe voters to influence absentee votes in the Arkansas District 54 primary, runoff and general elections in 2011. The four were released pending a sentencing hearing.
We have to wonder, for how many years, in how many positions, did Mr. Rather allow his ill founded, PREJUDICED attitide, omit, change and warp what made it on TV in order to change the path of the USA onto one not based in reality, but instead, on his personal compulsions and bigotry.
Oh and uh, just another thought ….
