So what we see here is a Leftist using the Hilary Clinton notion that "it takes a village", which is another way of saying, raising children needs to be done according to Socialist principles so that everyone is responsible to help pay for each other's child-rearing,

but here the snake is using the same notion to deny that he ought to take any responsibility at all,

because, after all, the responsibility is diffuse throughout the whole system.

This is an example of how our system, poisoned by Leftism, has directly enabled 1400 children to be molested and sexually abused for over a decade in one relatively small town of 257,000 people.
