Memorial To Marines Slain In Chattanooga
The impromptu memorial at the Military Recruiting Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee:
Police are searching for a man who may be driving a black pickup.
State Police say four people were shot overnight in three northern Maine communities. The shootings took place in Lee, Benedicta and Silver Ridge.Lee is located about 60 miles northeast of Bangor on Route 6. Benedicta and Silver Ridge are located more than 30 miles north of Lee.
Police are searching for a heavy-set man with a handgun. The suspect is about 5-foot-9, 260 pounds and may be driving a black pickup truck with front end damage. The search is concentrated in the Lee area.
No vehicles are allowed to leave or enter the town. Lee Academy has been shut down and is being used as a command post for the search for the active shooter.
