Why the Corp. R’s REMAIN confused over Trump, and the WS D’s are STILL agog at Bernie

First, Donald Trump is NO CONSERVATIVE.

In the past, some MIGHT say the in the distant past he’s had nice words about Hillary and said nationalized health care is a ‘good idea’. I have NO IDEA what he think about that now.

I don’t know his position of abortion, the military situation and stance of the USA, religious liberty, and what we should do and or be involved with in the middle east. That’s because the press really has only covered 2 things.
  1. ‘He hates those brownish people who are here to make a living in jobs we don’t want’
  2. ‘He has no respect for POW’s’
But the press, Graham, Perry and the CORPORATE REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP all are befuddled as Trump’s numbers CLIMB despite anything they do.

WHY?

He has hit 2 truths.
  1. WE, AS A SOCIETY AND CULTURE DON’T WANT *****ANY ILLEGAL***** IMMIGRATION, and federal largesse about this encourages the idea that disrespect and choice in the law is POLICY (calling all Oregon wedding cake bakers?)
  2. The TPP/TAA permanently crystallized in the public mind DISGUST with the idea of free trade, as opposed to fair trade, and allowed the ENTIRE dwindling, put upon, struggling, middle class which sees its optimism ground away to be able to pay the month’s bills, being tossed aside for LARGE CORPORATE PROFITS VIA LOWER AND LOWER COST OPERATIONS SOMEWHERE ELSE SUBSTITUTING FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD

Above is the employment in computer manufacturing in the USA, and YES Americans understand part of the loss of manufacturing is robotics, but they also understand WITHOUT complicated explanations why they have to ask what tech support for their microwave made in Maylaysia said, to be repeated 3 or 4 times becuase TECH SUPPORT JOBS ARE NOW IN TOLUCCA or PENANG.
The McConnells and Boehners, (and Pelosi’s and Hoyer’s and Reid’s) just don’t understand WE SEE IT NOW.

Bernie is delivering a similar message on the second point. And correctly points out who is benefiting from the current economy (altho his method to correct will end the USA as an enterprise and experiment). Bernie is  dedicated communist who understands how fast and how far things CAN move and cuts the cloth to that fit. I can’t help but respect him for it, even if his ultimate goal is a reprehensible failure in history.

These are publicly demonstrable truths and no caterwauling about appeals to the dark side (over Trump), etc are going to work.

OBVIOUSLY, .. as the polls this week now demonstrate.

As an observation there is ONE MAN on the R side who seems to recognize this reality and it’s meaning. I’m not sure yet how I feel about him.

TED CRUZ.

All we are as a nation and have been as an economic powerhouse, a hope for all, and as a place where ingenuity and or work can make you a titan, rich, revered, or anything else you seek as a target for your life depends on the freedoms in the economy.

Our military depends on our economy.

Our soft power depends on our economy.

Our political power in the world depends on our economy.

Our ability to fund social programs like SS and health depends on our economy.

Our ability to help those who need it WHEN THEY NEED IT depends on our economy.

Our ability to fund research for the public benefit depends on our economy.

Our hope for our families depends on our economy.

Bernie and Trump understand that the underlying feature of the population of the USA is LOSS OF FAITH that the economy and their own fates are IN THEIR OWN HANDS, and that those who CONTROL VOTES in the FEDERAL GOVT no longer have their interest at heart.

We are approaching a dangerous point because what DOES remain out here is the belief that these people who do not have our interest at heart govern BY OUR CONSENT.

The next step after loss of faith in the process of change, ELECTIONS, is removal of that consent.
If the leadership of the 2 parties flocking Hillary and Bush do not understand what it means as they stand on the shores of the election, and watch the ocean slowly recede from their ankles into the distance….SAYONARA BABY

EPA...the line: "Our ability to help those who need it WHEN THEY NEED IT depends on our economy." ...needs further clarification:
Our ability to help those LEGAL CITIZENS who need it WHEN THEY NEED IT depends on our economy.
This nation already provides ample, if not excessive foreign aid to assist nations to help their own. We should not be the world's charity host to every ill begotten soul fed up with their own economies/lack of govt. entitlements in their own nation... or eager to take advantage of progressive's largesse stolen from legal citizen taxpayers.

Epa,
Do you know Bernie Sanders personally?

And, by the way, thanks for coming out and saying Bernie Sanders is a Communist. Because that's what he is.

I don't know wtf Donald Trump is.

IMO, your analysis here is spot on.

Anon - u r 100% correct.

Pasto, it's my recollection he ran for Mayor of Burlington Vt as a communist, and proud of it

The thing is, as mayor he did a HELL OF A JOB ..at that time New England towns like that were dying, and he turned the entire city center into a pedestrian mall, and unertook PRACTICAL measures to get businesses, BIG CHAIN BIZ, to move in or stay, and then allow small businesses to start and grow.

But as prez, and his hand on the big controls, the plane will veer into a steep left bank.

USA is not a town of 30k

Well then, he ran as a proud Communist, but he governed as a pragmatic Repub.

If u r voting for a small town mayor considerations sure are a LOT different than voting for prez.

I think he realized if he didn't stop the decay in Burlington, he was toast and Darwin dictated.
