During his speech at the U.N. General Assembly on Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did something unusual: He stood in complete silence for 44 seconds.
That silence was designed, Netanyahu inferred, to show how much of the world had been responded with "utter" and "deafening" silence when while "Iran pledged to murder" Israeli citizens.
During those 44 seconds, the Israeli prime minister glared at the audience.
To supporters of Israel and many others, it was a remarkably powerful moment, showing how the world was ignoring the risks posed by a nuclear deal with Iran. To critics of the sometimes divisive Netanyahu, it was laughable.
Online, a variety of mocking versions of the speech have begun to circulate. One YouTube user uploaded a video of the silence, with the interlude filled with "The Sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel.
Another added the theme music from the Larry David sitcom "Curb Your Enthusiasm."I'm in absolute agreement with Reliapundit on this:

THE WEST'S APPEASEMENT OF IRAN - AND THE SILENCE WHICH GREETED NETANYAHU - REVEAL THAT THE UN AND EUROPE - OR WHAT THE BIBLE CALLS THE "NATIONS" - HAVE A DEATH WISH.WHY IS THIS SO?
WHY ARE THEY SILENT IN THE FACE OF OBVIOUS AND HUMONGOUS THREAT PRESENTED BY ISLAMISM ARMED WITH NUKES?

POSTMODERN LEFTISM HAS BRAINWASHED A MAJORITY OF EUROPEANS INTO BELIEVING THAT EUROPE HAS BEEN THE MAJOR SOURCE OF EVIL IN HUMAN HISTORY.
WHICH IS FALSE.
BUT BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE IN THE WEST NOW BELIEVE IT, THEY DO THINGS - CONSCIOUSLY AND UNCONSCIOUSLY - WHICH WHICH DESTROY THEIR OWN CULTURE.
- LIKE LETTING IN MILLIONS OF INVADING ISLAMIC "REFUGEES" WITHOUT VETTING ANY.
- LIKE LETTING IRAN GET NUKES.
.... AND THAT ONCE DEMOLISHED, THEY WILL FILL THE VACUUM WITH AN ATHEISTIC, SEXUALLY PERMISSIVE NANNYSTATE WHICH PERMITS UNLIMITED LIBERTINAGE.
ISLAMISTS THINK THEY WILL REPLACE IT WITH A SHARIA COMPLIANT DHIMMI CONTINENT, OR PERHAPS ONE WHICH IS PART OF A CALIPHATE.
IN THEIR DESIRE TO SEE WESTERN CIVILIZATION VANISH, THE POSTMODERN LEFT AND THE ISLAMISTS ARE UNITED, ALLIED, AND WORKING ON CONCERT - CONSCIOUSLY AND UNCONSCIOUSLY.

If we who stand in defense of traditional Western Civilization are defeated Islam will consume the leftists in short order. They are intellectually and morally vacuous lightweights living a fantasy existence made possible by our productivity. Most of them, having no real character or beliefs, will simply convert to the Islamic collective:that being the easiest short term solution.
