Once immigrants are allowed into the country, there may be little that governors can do to prevent those immigrants from settling in particular states.
Obama will bring in the Syrian "refugees" via executive order if Congress blocks him.
Then, what?

Does he have the Executive Authority to do such a thing?
Pasto,
Does it matter whether or not he has the authority to do so? Nope. He'll order it anyway.
Mark my words.
Well, he is good at drowning the public in minutiae and obfuscations, but this is a subject the public is pretty angry about, so he might lose this one.
Lose how? Once the immigrants are brought in, they are here.
Good point.
If he goes for the executive order, Congress has to impeach. Hollande clearly said in his speech. His obligation is to protect his people. Obama's obligation is to protect his.
Is it possible to go to court and sue the administration for going against the Constitution? Courts froze his executive order on immigration. This is equally important, but expediency is of the essence. The barbarians are already arriving in the US.
