100+ injured at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in an open-air crowd. The event center 12,000 seats were sold out, the hotel fully booked.
He fired down into the crowd from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
The shooter's name was Stephen Paddock. 64 years old. The police killed him, but not after he had fired many rounds into the crowd, which were sitting ducks.
Fox News is now saying the sheriff reports 50+ dead, 200+ injured. The deadliest mass shooting in the United States.

IMO, all this doesn't sound like Islamic terrorism. Also IMO, the crowd at the concert were mostly Trump supporters.
Update: A LAS VEGAS shooting witness was reportedly warned that everyone at the Route 91 music festival was “going to die” 45 minutes before the attack near the Mandalay Bay hotel.
Another update: Jason Aldean, of "Flyover Country" fame and a Trump supporter, was onstage at the time that the shots began.

Clark County court records show that Paddock sued a Las Vegas strip hotel in 2012. He filed the lawsuit against Cosmopolitan Hotels & Resorts Inc. in September 2012. The case was dismissed with prejudice on October 3, 2014, and then later settled through arbitration. Records show he was suing for “Negligence – Premises Liability.” Details about the case were not immediately available.

I just hope to God that this shooter was not a Trump supporter.
His girlfriend de-activated her Facebook account 1 hour before the shooting which indicates she was an accomplice.
This was not merely some nut going off. He planned this, and she knew and probably aided him at least with moral support.

I think it is far too early to determine that this Islam story is accurate. I think it is more than likely inaccurate in this case.

I think it is far too early to say the girl friend was cleared. Why go after a country music crowd? Until we get the answers I am on the side of terrorism. We just had that West Point student converted in a few short years. His family now has disowned him. The appeal of 70 virgins apparently has quite a draw.
