UC-Santa Barbara Student President on Anti-Israel Resolution

There are two reasons I posted this:

1) let's be honest, becasuse she's FREAKING GORGEOUS, INSIDE AND OUT!

2) So you can get a feeling of the intense hurt that Jewish people feel in the face of this kind of mindless drone-like anti-Semitism that is spreading like a plague across the university campuses of our nation.

Honestly, I wouldn't have bothered to say anything like what she wanted to say. The truth is, if people went to Israel, and the Palestinian territories, nothing would change. These people see what they want to see. They are caught up in a great delusion.

What I would say to these students is this:

Since Haman's time in the 5th century BC, peoples around the world have rallied to murder Jews en masse, claiming that, if they could only rid themselves of the Jews, their problems would be solved.

Every time this has happened, the peoples who wanted to murder the Jews had a reason.

But looking back on history, almost everyone would agree in retrospect that the reasons given were not only insufficient, but DERANGED.

Hamas has made it clear since they published their Charter back in 1988, they want no Jews in the land between the River and the Sea, which is all of Israel and the Palestinian territories. Their reason is this land is a Islamic Waqf. It belongs to Muslims, that's it.

The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf [endowment] consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. Neither a single Arab country nor all Arab countries, neither any king or president, nor all the kings and presidents, neither any organization nor all of them, be they Palestinian or Arab, possess the right to do that.

Or, the Hamas Charter, Article 7:

the Islamic Resistance Movement aspires to the realisation of Allah's promise, no matter how long that should take. The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, has said:

"The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews." (related by al-Bukhari and Moslem).
So, do you really think it is different this time? Is this a reasonable argument to slaughter Jews once again?
