Khizr Khan To Run For Political Office In Virginia?

Ah, the dhimmitude — that a Vietnam veteran is promoting this insanity!

In the week since Khizr Khan, the father of an Army captain killed in Iraq in 2004, made an impassioned call to elect Hillary Clinton, some of her supporters have found another person they'd like to see in public office: Khan.

The Charlottesville, Virginia, lawyer and his wife, Ghazala, rose to national prominence after he challenged Trump's rhetoric on Muslim Americans in a speech at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

Thomas Keefe, a Vietnam veteran and longtime Democratic activist, watched the Khans from backstage at the convention and thought of his son's friend who died while serving in Afghanistan five years ago this month. Northern Virginia native Douglas J. Green was 23.

"There were a lot of things that were swirling around my head when Mr. Khan was speaking," he said in a phone interview, his voice cracking.

By the time Keefe, 67, had returned home to Knoxville, Tennessee, he had resolved to send a message to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump about the kind of leadership he believes Americans deserve.

So he started a digital crowdfunding campaign intended to recruit Khan to run for the Virginia House of Delegates, complete with a bumper-sticker-ready slogan: "Yes We Khan!"

Through the platform Crowdpac, 123 individuals pledged more than $13,000 in less than two days. Keefe hopes to reach $20,000 by Monday....

... Your comment stating that Mr. Trump “…has sacrifice no one” is alarming. Are you intimating that YOU sacrificed? Sir, your son willingly sacrificed himself. As a father I cannot imagine the pain you must feel but his sacrifice is his own. He was not forced to serve.

I am troubled that you would allow a party that has little more than contempt for the US Service Member to parade you into the DNC to denounce Donald Trump. Did you watch when protesters at the DNC booed and heckled Medal of Honor recipient Capt. Florent Groberg? Did you notice your party interrupting the moment of silence for slain police officers? Your own hypocrisy in not denouncing these acts and instead using the DNC as a platform to make a political point is disgraceful. The simple fact is that whether one served or sacrificed does not give greater power to their statements. One vote is as valuable as another. That sir, is why our Country is great. Your condemnation of one person for a statement while standing idly as your party disparages veterans and police officers is the height of hypocrisy.

To conflate the need to prevent potential terrorists from entering our country with the belief that ‘all Muslims’ should be banned is simply wrong and disingenuous....

I was surprised that a NY law office would list a D.C. telephone number, so I called it  to check and was told by the man who answered  it was not Khazir Khan's law office, but the man who answered would not tell me who it was.
So I did more digging and learned  that is also the phone number of a group called  American Muslims Vote, which says its mission is to:

To create an enlightened community by providing and developing Patriotic American Muslim leadership and
Encouraging American Muslims to participate in the democratic process at local, state and national level and vote on the election day.

I did some further research into who registered this domain name and when? Khizr Khan registered it on July 23, 2016.
He's looking increasingly like a plant to me -- a Muslim Cindy Sheehan playing on people's sympathies to foster a Democratic Party political agenda. And of course, in that goal he has the full throated support of the American media

Well this is interesting... I (a commenter at freerepublic) just ran the phone number (202)279-0806 and it comes back to a Francis Moroney at Galen St. SE, Bolling AFB, Washington, DC. For those of you who aren’t aware, Bolling AFB (Air Force Base) is the home of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
