Islam Comic Book Down Due To Death Threats

I recommended the Islamcomicbook.com site to a friend yesterday and was surprised to find that it had been taken down. I searched the site on google and the cached results displayed the following (text follows picture, click the picture for the full sized snapshot) :

Text :

Greetings,

It is with great regret that I must go into hiding.

This is a result of the multiple death threats I have received for my comic book, which depicts the truth about the teachings of the prophet Mohammed. I am earnestly confused about this matter. I have spoken honestly and truthfully about Islam and its teachings. All quotes in the comic book are directly from the Qu'ran and the agreed Hadiths.

Why does a religion of peace seek to kill me for being honest? What do they have to hide?

I hope to return when I am free to speak once again.

Abdullah Aziz
(Author or the World Renowned Comic Book, "Mohammed's Believe It or Else!"

Not all is lost though as faithfreedom.org is hosting a copy of the comic book which I recommend you all go and read. Please pass this information around the blogosphere and internet forums to make the public aware that the ROP has claimed another victim in it's aim of silencing the critics of Islam.

J,

You stay safe; the bright side is, that whenever the enemies of reason try something like this, all they end up doing is creating a huge demand for the very thing they are trying to suppress.

I have known about this publication for a long time, but have put off getting my copy. I'll now get mine - and maybe a couple as gifts - within the next 48 hours.

Here, by the way, are a couple of reviews from another (previously available, and possibly still available) source:

"Mohammad's Believe It or Else! Abdulah Aziz tells the stories of the Qu'ran and the Hadith in cartoon form. You will howl with laughter at the strange teaching of Muhammad. Perfect for young people!"

"The most important refutation of Islam ever written." (Dr. Gleason Archer)

No young person, after reading this book, would become a Muslim. This is the best book to give in schools and prisons." (Dr. Robert Morey)

The resource these reviewers gave was: www.faithdefenders.com.

Every homeschooler and every concerned parent should get one or more copies of this publication!

It is a dark day.
We all know that we are poking a sleeping tiger with a stick, perhaps thats WHY we do it. Anyone who has children knows that it is our DUTY to stand strong and do what we can to keep the future free for them.
I first found out about "believe it or else" through Faith Freedom and Tell the children the truth" I never took the time to read very much of it and now of course, I wish I had. They say 'you don't know what you've got until it's gone' Like freedom for instance. It is growing in strength all the time, many cities will be taking part by the 25th.
I hope Mr Aziz and his loved ones will be safe and I would like to suggest some kind of salute to those that have died and those in fear for their lives, the march for free expression is a good time for such a gesture.

I hope we will all be alive and free on the day.

As happens to me quite often now for some reason, a big chunk of what I wrote diappeared. If anyone can shed light on this 'glitch' I'd be most grateful.
Between the words" for instance." and "it is growing all the time" there should have been sentences about the about the March for free expression which takes place on the 25th and I suggested we could express something for those who have died or who are in immediate danger. I hope it posts ok this time.

Mike.

I should have mentioned this before, but maybe everyone who posts/comments here could spread the word on other blogs about this. With any luck, we can turn the comic into a bestseller!

I noticed that the site of the Islam Comic Book was down for the past few days; now I know why. We are truly fighting an evil force with a potent weapon, the truth, and the Islamic denizens of Hell will kill to protect their Satanic faith.

You can still get the shoe bomber song (track from comic book site) at http://www.terrorists-suck.org/fight/the_shoe_bomber.mp3

grab it while it's still available and spread it virally

I, too, have put off getting my copy of this comic book. I will be ordering immediately!

Blogs getting censored, posts or parts of posts disappearing, cartoonists in hiding...Where are we heading? By "we," I mean Western civilization.

The Islamnot4me song is less of an endangered species than the Shoe Bomber song . Seems to have several sources including

http://www.theodoresworld.net/watch/Islamnot4me.mp3

Nevertheless probably worth collecting

We can all grab this screen, and publicize it. We can exhort the readers and thinkers all we want.

We can watch Atlas, and LGF and Bob Spencer et al take it and run.

We can even watch when VDH, or Jonah Godberg, or Ms Malkin or Ann Coulter beat the drum, but my observation and judgement is that until a David Brooks, William Keller, Chris Matthews, Larry King, not only takes this up, but feels threatened, and endangered and FEELS the indignance, worry about family, and REPULSION which is the compulsory response of free men and women..we are not going to get anywhere.

However, we can depend on this... that day IS coming. The people who feel that freedom of speech is blasphemy, just won't allow any other outcome.

The one essential lesson to be learned from the comic book being taken down, and the toon jihad, is that Islam's Achilles heel is satire. They fear that above all else.

Any and every form of taking the piss needs to be employed - caricature, parody, lampoon, crazy songs, mad animations, irony, derision, filthy jokes and ridicule. Especially stuff than can be spread virally over the net

The best suggestion for destroying Islam I've ever read was on this site:

http://ibloga.blogspot.com/2006/02/some-very-enlightening-thoughts-from.html

Bombheads crave respect like gangstas. They don't want to be liked. Respect, to a gangsta, is being feared and hated - that's OK, but he cannot tolerate being ridiculed.

You cannot argue rationally with a gangsta. You cannot discuss ethical values with a gangsta. The gangsta seeks the bubble reputation. Prick that and he's back to being the nobody he always was.

I'll see what I can do about getting the comic linked to my blog. I downloaded the pdf a couple months ago, and now I'm really glad I did.

Here's a second source for the shoe bomber song about Allah's bordello in the sky. Even funnier IMO than Islam's not 4 me. Grab it before the thought-police shut it down.

Mohammad (Peace be upon Him) is the Best for ever and ever
i speak to all the people that had posted a bad comment : if just you knew who is Mohammad (PBUH) you wouldn't say such bad things on him, i 'm sure that even you'll love him and respect him (PBUH), take a few of your time and see those sites : mohammad.islamway.com, http://www.rasoulallah.net/index_english.asp

learn about him and then you can judge as you like.
