For those who don’t think Iran will yield to any diplomacy, what is the preferable course for any action? 1. Nuclear bunker buster first strike?
Absolute last resort.
2. Conventional first strike with Stealth?
Conventional
3. Special Forces sabotage on the ground
Risky, and matches our intelligence against their own turf. Can anyone say ‘finding the WMD will be a slam dunk’?
4. Ultimatum in Private backchannel?
If it didn’t work with a secular Saddam, why would that work here?
2, 3, and 4? Maybe the Special Forces could get around in the chaos, but we’d still probably see some of them paraded around on TV
