Three Brand Spanking New Infidels

I am excited to announce that we have added three new infidels to the family here at IBA.

Yasmin is a Somalian Muslim gal, who has had enough of the abuse. I don't want to speak for her, but I will say she found us through the Hirsi Ali site, and we are blessed to have her.

Suxxes is the proprietor of the French blog France-Echos. Finally, we have a French blogger. Mr. Suxxes tells me he will not be posting a whole lot for a while, but hopefully his time will clear up soon, as we need him.

The third new Infidel is Jay-Mac, an Irish blogger who has been a frequent contributor here for awhile, in the form of commenting. His comments have always been valuable, and very well-written, so I don't know why I had neglected for so long to invite him to join us.

Over time, we would like to gain contributors from all the various nooks and crannnies of the globe, so if anyone comes across any bloggers from outside the U.S., who would like to help out here, please let me know.

Hello All,

Thank you for the warm welcome! I must admit it's nice to be called an infidel without the accompanying insults . Just to clarify one important point to all my new friends…I am of Somali origin but I am not a Muslim, I‘m an atheist. My education and questioning nature ultimately lead to my leaving Islam. I discovered Nietzsche during my time at university! Studying molecular biology also taught me critical skills…the ability to weigh claims against evidence.

I am much happier now…but it hasn’t been an easy journey. In fact, most of my family members don’t fully understand my convictions, or the lack of. I have deliberately held back the full extent of my disbelief to ensure my physical safety. But as I witnessed the evil acts of Alqaida in my country of citizenship, England, I realised that it was time to stand and be counted. I would argue that Alqaida represents the purest form of Islam, closest to the teachings of Mohammed, and a counteractive war of ideology must be waged. My fellow infidels there’s a lot we must do if we wish to preserve our liberty!

I look forward to exchanging ideas with you all.

Yasmin

Yasmin,
Were you born in Somalia?

Do you have connections in Somalia?

If something was going on in Somalia and the news wasn't getting out, would you be able to get the news from friends and family members?

Sorry about misintroducing you?

Very happy to have you hear.

No problem Pastorius...

I am fortunate enough to have a few contacts in Somalia, researchers, aid workers, politicians, relatives etc. I take a keen interest on the region's development...In particular I am keen on Somaliland affairs, a region denied recognition, but that has worked very hard to establish some sort of democracy, whilst keeping the Islamists under scrutiny.
