All That You Can't Leave Behind

The Things We Stand To Lose,
If Islamofascism Wins

I think I'm going to make this a new series here at IBA. And I'm going to ask for your help on this one.

Let us take note of all the things we will lose if our civilization caves in to the Islamofascists, and they take over.

Well, we will lose puppies.

Yes, that's right, those Islamofascist mofos hate dogs. Actually, it would probably be more accurate to say they are afraid of dogs. But, the outcome is the same. They fear dogs, so they don't allow them.

We would lose symphony orchestras and classical music.

The Islamofascists don't allow any music other than prayer chanting with drums in the background. Imagine that, the works of Bach, Chopin, Mahler, Verdi, Puccini, Mascagni, all wiped out. No more. Gone. Fini.

Yes, and we would lose Angelina Jolie. Well, we might not lose Angelina Jolie, but we would never see her in quite the same way again.

Ask yourself, are you willing to let this happen? I'm sure you aren't. But, we all need to understand the depth of the depravity and decadence of Islamofascism. They want to create a society built on nothing but Jihad and Sharia, hatred, murder, and fear.

If anyone has any suggestions for future posts of this kind, please leave me links to photos of things we stand to lose,

or, maybe I should say, all the things we can't leave behind; the things for which we are willing to fight.

Restrictions on art as well. HERE is the web site for the National Gallery of Art. Landscapes might be permitted, but not portraits of humans.

And what about church steeples?

Pastorius said...

Yes, I would imagine church steeples would be replaced by mosque domes. All the quaint old country churches would be gone. All the cathedrals, gone.

Just like Prince Vladimer Peres, son of Dracula, we can lose our humanity.

Teddy bears would be banned:

Thanks for those links ROP. I will include them in future installments.

As women we would lose the right to walk out the doors of our own homes wearing what we please, get in our own cars, drive ourselves to whatever jobs we choose to work at, speak in public or private to any males we choose, eat a BLT for lunch, stop at the liquor store and the Chinese take-out after work, put the beer in the fridge, change into shorts and a T shirt and take the dog for a run on the beach, have a cold Coors and pork lo mein for dinner, then spend the rest of the evening watching the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" video (speaking of Brangelina) in bed with the boyfriend.

Another thing we might have to leave behind is the capacity for rational thought itself. Just look at this mumbo jumbo (especially question 104 onwards):

Churchill famously compared Islam to a contagious mental illness in the form of hydrophobia (rabies). But it also seems to be a form of contagious obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Anybody whose mind is filled with this sort of superstitious micro-management of all aspects of daily life would have little mental space for anything else. No wonder the Islamic world has never created anything of value.

I wonder what sort of ablutions you have to perform before Allah will accept your prayers if you inadvertantly step on a crack in the sidewalk?

I was tired of the usual "Islamophobe and Proud of It" and similar badges and have created an own "Flickr" badge "Dar el Harb and proud of it" for the sidebar of my blog.

The photos show a couple of suggestion for what we might lose. As you will see, they include dogs as well.

I hope this helps.

P.S. And thanks for reminding me of music and portrait painting. I have added those as well.

ROP,
Rational thought; check.

You're right about that, for sure.

I checked out your photos. They are beautiful, Editrix.

Thanks Pastorius! Some are my own and most have a personal significance. For example, I used to live for a while at the foot of the hill that hosts Weihenstephan brewery and beergarden.

We are always talking somewhat grandiosely about "human rights" or "Western civilisation", but it doesn't do any harm to fill terms like that with a little bit of life from time to time.

Another important issue is how a society treats its animals and I am NOT talking about PETA or other disgusting hypocrites here. But declaring dogs "unclean", an animal, which reflects like no other creature on earth human nature, speaks for itself.

It just occurs to me that maybe that's why they don't like them. They don't like what they see in their canine mirrors.

That's an interesting idea. I don't own a dog, and, if it were up to me (it isn't) our family will never have a dog. But, I absolutely agree with you that dogs are among the most human of animals. Monkeys are up there too.

And, of course, Allah seems to hate humans, so you're right, it isn't surprising that he would also hate dogs and monkeys.

As I understand, Islam frowns upon bells (big ole bells, not "it's tea time" bells). There's nothing like the sound of dozens of churches pealing away on a Sunday morning. They'd be gone. A church can't offend a muslim by the sound of a church bell.

No more Christmas.

What the French call "joi de vivre", or in Italian "la dolce vita." The good life. Wine, women, and song. Gone, hidden, and gone.

No more tennis, football, or any sport. Can't show that skin. And no more cheerleaders. (No wonder interest in the Olympics has dropped. It was the West vs. the Iron Curtain, the war fought in sport, that had us screaming at the tv when the USSR got that extra time to beat us in basketball, and had us screaming for joy and believing in miracles in 1980's Winter games. These muslim people won't play us. No fair. I'd loooove to see us play Iran in a round of women's beach volleyball...).

No more Jews. So much for the sprinkle of yeast that made the dough of Western Civilization rise. I always wondered why the Nazis went after their most talented and intelligent minority. Now these Islamofascists are doing likewise.

Now would Sundaes have to become Fridaes?

"But, I absolutely agree with you that dogs are among the most human of animals. Monkeys are up there too."

Pastorius, my intention even went a bit deeper. It wasn't about genetic closeness, not even about intelligence. Pigs and dolphins beat any dog and some monkeys hands down there.

No, what I meant is that the dog has VOLUNTARILY SUBMITTED to the man. My old Weimaraner weighs 32 kilos. Do you think one could keep a cat that big at home and as a family pet?

Dogs have submitted to us (civilisation as we know it would be unthinkable without them) and they mirror our behaviour and our treatment of them. My terriers are vicious little beasts who would kill anything that moves if I'd let them, save other dogs and people. The latter, they shower with kisses. They sometimes reminded me stunningly of dogs we had when I was a child and then it occurred to me: They are mirroring me.

If I feel down I look at them and the thought that I can't be all bad usually cheers me up.

I have the old Weim for 1 1/2 years now. Before that, he was all his life (9 years) with a man whom I never met. But I know he must be a kind man. The dog tells me so, every day. It is as if I'd know that man intimately.

Now imagine Muslims looking at the mangy, flea-bitten, starving, terrified, hopeless creatures rummaging for food in the gutter. How does that make them feel about themselves?

Maybe I am exaggerating, but I don't think I am.
