MY OPINION: I agree with Blair, who said - before the Afghan Campaign - "our enemy is only limited by their means." As soon as the jihadoterrorists CAN strike us with WMD, they WILL. Remember, every single strike against the USA has been bigger and more spectacular than the previous one. If this holds up - and they succeed in attacking us again - it means the next attack will be worse than 9/11. A WMD attack achieves this for the enemy. Binladen has a fatwa to kill 10 MILLION Americans, and he and Zawahiri and "Azzam" have warned us they will carry it out. I believe they will at least try, as soon as they can. Whether this particular video is the signal or not.

I've heard some speculation in the msm as to why the video was being released at this time.
Have you? Wow. I don't watch TV, so I miss all that. I'm happy to hear they aren't completely asleep.
I heard it on FNC, but not in prime time.
Oh, I see. Anything is better than nothing, huh?
Does Mir have any kind of a track record for predicting what OBL will do? On the surface I wonder why they would stage a big attack now when Bush is getting hammered from all sides. But I can think of a few reasons:
1. Upstage Iran. After all the noise Ahmadhimmijerker has made, maybe OBL wants to beat him to the punch.
2. Detonate a few dirty bombs or whatever, just enough to get everybody screaming that Bush's Iraq War Has Made Us More Vulnerable to Terrorists.
3. Explode some sort of nuclear devices in NYC and DC and cause Real Trouble. (I've always thought they were trying for that on 9/11 but the towers didn't fall down sideways and kill half the financial district, they missed the Capitol and the White House, and flying one plane into the Pentagon is like punching a 9-ft wheel of cheese.)
Whatever the benefits to them, in a lot of ways 9/11 was considered a tactical screw-up because it tipped off the kaffir. I doubt they will try the Pearl Harbor ploy again unless they are sure it will bring the result they want.
