A hardline Muslim teacher who caused a furore by denouncing pupils for celebrating Christmas has been made a Government schools inspector.
Israr Khan's Ofsted appointment was described by a former colleague as 'absolutely astonishing'.
Mr Khan, now headmaster of an Islamic school, launched into his tirade during a concert rehearsal at Washwood Heath Secondary School in Birmingham in 1996 after the choir including around 40 Muslim youngsters, had sung a number of popular Christmas songs, including carols.
He leapt from his seat, yelling: "Who is your God? Why are you saying Jesus and Jesus Christ? God is not your God - it is Allah."
A former colleague said "He gave me many insights into the Islamic cause and their hatred of the US and the Western World. He had a big support base among some of the Muslim parents.
As children in the audience began booing and clapping, a number of choir members - both white and Asian - walked out, some in tears.
Mr Khan, a maths teacher, was asked to work from home pending an investigation but there was no disciplinary action.
It has been claimed that Washwood Heath school was then a ‘hotbed of Islamic fundamentalism’. Rashid Rauf - the airline terror bomb suspect whose extradition is currently being sought from Pakistan - was a pupil there at that time.
Mr Khan left Washwood Heath a year later to found the independent Islamic Hamd House Preparatory School in Small Heath, Birmingham, where he is headmaster. Earlier this year, he was appointed as a governor of Anderton Park Primary School, in Sparkbrook, Birmingham.
UP Pompeii wonders what would happen if a Christian teacher had uttered similar words to his students. Would he have been promoted, or would he have been fired and even imprisoned?
What kind of politically correct process would lead to such a man being promoted? Can you imagine the mindset of people who believe that this is best for the country of England? Do these people deserve to be our leaders? And, how do we go about removing them?

This is one of the very reasons that I proposed a very professionally presented organization that would counter these sort of actions and could handle becoming media players. We must be on the offensive now, not the defensive, as a fellow commenter has pointed out.

Windsor Castle's Muslim prayer zone.
The move came after a request from 19-year-old student Nagina Chaudhry, who works in the visitors' shop, a royal spokeswoman said.
An office at the castle has now been set aside for her to offer lunchtime prayers during the holy month of Ramadan, a time of fasting.
This quote is rich.
Miss Chaudhry, speaking to the Daily Mail newspaper, said: "It feels amazing to be the first Muslim to read namaz (prayers) at Windsor Castle.

I can't believe this! Oh, it's true, but my mind reels that such a thing has happened and that Khan has not been disciplined. He should be out on his ass! Out of the country altogether! Instead, he's promoted to government-schools inspector?
And those poor children in the choir. As a former director of children's choirs, my heart breaks for them. How confused they must have felt!

Looks like Britain has already surrendered to Islam, right down to this, the great piggy bank kerfuffle and the cemetary redesign to appease Muslims. Is there some sort of competition going on with France(spit!)?
Do any Muslims demand this stuff, or is it simply offered to them?
So can anyone name any country left on the entire planet that is not either run completely by Muslims or whose government has not surrendered to them? It's not time to fight -- they've already won.

Maybe it was just his mood on that day, but he sounded so negative about our chances that I thought maybe he was an Islamist trying to bring us down.
