Storm Track Intimidation: Is Cox Communications an Islamophe – or Just Not a Good Dhimmi?

From The Gathering Storm

Imam Abdul Malik Johari of the Council of Muslim Organizations in Washington, DC accuses Cox Communications of Ilsmaophobia because it wants to charge cable subscribers money to view an all Muslim cable channel that is free on other cable networks.

Here’s the email they have sent out.

In the Name of God Most Kind and Merciful - Please forward to Everyone in the USA

Dear Brothers & Sisters:

Asslam Alykum. After reading the following facts please call and email Cox Cable regardless who is your tv provider to end Islamophobia:

Comcast cable, Time Warner Cable, Verizon FIOS, Adelphia Cable, Buckeye Cable, WOW Cable and Shrewsberry Cable have all agreed to offer Bridges TV as a FREE channel. This is giving Muslims a voice in mainstream media. Cox Cable is the only cable operator that is charging $180 for FREE Muslim Channel. Such hatred against Islam by Cox espcially in this holy month of Ramadan is outrageous. How many people will watch MSNBC if they have to pay $180 extra for this one channel alone? For the future of Islam in America and well being of our children please immediately call and email Cox Cable.

May God be with you. Thank you. Jazak Allah.

I wonder if the Christian cable channels like TBN are free on the cable networks. I doubt it. So why should a Muslim station be granted this privilege? When contacted, Cox said that it’s normal to charge subscribers for each and very channel that’s above their basic package for additional channels.

I hope Cox sticks by its guns and make them pay for the privilege of broadcasting their Muslim agenda to non-Muslims.
