TEEN GOES NUCLEAR: He creates fusion in his Oakland Township home
What's in your basement? Sarin? What's in the Iran's basement? On the surface, Thiago Olson is like any typical teenager.He's on the cross country and track teams at Stoney Creek High School in Rochester Hills. He's a good-looking, clean-cut 17-year-old with a 3.75 grade point average, and he has his eyes fixed on the next big step: college.
But to his friends, Thiago is known as "the mad scientist."
In the basement of his parents' Oakland Township home, tucked away in an area most aren't privy to see, Thiago is exhausting his love of physics on a project that has taken him more than two years and 1,000 hours to research and build -- a large, intricate machine that , on a small scale, creates nuclear fusion.
Nuclear fusion -- when atoms are combined to create energy -- is "kind of like the holy grail of physics," he said.

I don't doubt that they have raw intelligence which they squander on cunning and deceit. I understand that.
However, they don't create anything. They finally got the idea that they ought to make a nuclear bomb. I believe they will succeed. I believe they will even hit us with nukes.
But, this kid is an example of why we will win, because we will win even if our governments won't do the fighting for us.
I'm tired of all the loser talk - all the people saying we are going to lose because we aren't being realistic. Yes, we aren't being realistic, but that only means we haven't begun to fight yet.
It serves no positive purpose to tell our civilization that we are going to lose. Does a coach tell his team they are going to lose before they go out to fight, or does he focus them on how to win?
By the way, this is the second time in recent days that Epa has put up a post which gives a very specific reason why we will win, and yet the post is interpreted as yet another reason we will lose. The other one involved how cowardly and untrained the Iraqi forces are. Well, as far as I'm concerned that is an example of why we will prevail against Islamism in the long run. Yeah, it might also show that our Democracy project is destined to fail, but we've seen that coming for awhile now. The real focus, in my opinion, needs to be on the larger war against Jihadism.
I don't mean this to be a criticism of Epa (who I consider to be brilliant), except in the most broad usage of the word criticism. In other words, this is a critical analysis of Epa's post here. He looks at it one way, and I am saying there is another way of looking at it.
Surely, there is a reason that people like Mark Steyn go around saying we will lose. I understand his reason, but I think we are getting past the point where that is effective in any way. The people are waking up and they need to be told how to win at this point.
Well, that's my feeling on it anyway.

They organize raids.
We obliterate the entire mechanism.
That is the way it is.
We await the proper kick in the ass.
To win, sooner or later they will have to administer this kick.
They cannot win by converting us. Dawa will fail here. They cannot win thru subversion, we have a second amendment. Our political scene is a mass of confusion to them, and they cannot comprehend that Hillary Clinton will nuke them just as fast as anyone else with that proper kick in the ass. They cannot comprehend anything not written about us by Sayd Qutb, in fact. We are martians in a book.
They are not. They have a book they must adhere to. We understand it. Some of us don't, YET, but I believe the news there is better than we fear...watch for upcoming post.
Anyway....we are going to win this thing. It would be nice not to do so among 150 million corpses, but that will do if it must.

I agree. That is my perspective as well. We will win, because beating the shit out of people is what we do best. We are very barbaric people underneath the veneer of civilization.

And, I also want to say that I would rather that there were not 150 million corpses at the end of this, but after the Hizbollah War and the stupid "peace" that was negotiated, I have become convinced that the inevitable war will be horrible beyond comprehension. I've already resigned myself to that fact. We passed the point of no return in my opinion.

Epa, I agree that (and I was saying it for quite some time now) this century is going to be much bloodier than the previous one.
I think we will win also - but the costs may be very high.
But, and there is a but. With biological weapons there is a risk we may loose. The animals would not hesitate to exterminate all life on this planet if they could.
Therefore I hope for a major attack soon. It is the kick we need.
