In addition, the British Press has suddenly become Islamically aware, with a torrent of Islamoskeptic articles appearing in the past couple of months. It's almost as if there's been an 'Emperor's New Clothes moment'.
The situation has changed drastically from two years ago, when a comparatively mild article by Charles Moore in the Telegraph attracted veiled death-threats and invocations of a Rushdie-style fatwa from British Muslims. (see http://www.jihadwatch.org/dhimmiwatch/archives/004349.php ) . The intimidation weapon no longer works against the British press because these days it isn't just a few brave souls who venture to question Islam, everybody's doing it now.
