But who will represent implacable confrontation and complete resistance?

Jan 2009 will not mark the end of the Bush administration.
It ended this week as Joseph Meyers eloquently points out, though intending another important message.

The Bush administration began with a shattering attack on our civilians, as unpreventable in our society as was the Pearl Harbor that echoes ahead all such attacks on open societies. We saw George Bush in the bathtub of the WTC amid the wreckage and the firemen and then the speech before congress.

But that was the first large mistake, for while he tried to identify the foe, he failed to declare it a real war, opting instead for a war against criminal tactics, rather than a war to break the spirit of the enemy people, which must be, ultimately what all wars must be.

And now amid the years of mistakes, and natural hideous carping of a declining Europe not even self assured enough to out reproduce its own death, and an ascendant amoral China who will make any deal with anyone for any purpose to secure energy, and a Russia flush with the same cash that that enriches the hateful 'friends' who teach racism, and disgust for freedom as decadent Mullah Land.jpglicentiousness, and blasphemy, we see the result of both the incompetence of this administration, and the partisan hates of a democratic party, willing to take the moneys of Moveon-Soros to undermine our future for HIS vision of internationalism devoid of values.

But in this horrific spiritual vacuum in which the imagination of fools paints a picture that avoiding certain words will change objective reality, what Americans and others are left in power, or attempting to be in power, whose goal is resistance to those who paid for Al Qaeda?

The republicans show little interest in the American future lest they lose the election againstomar_abdel_rahman_1.jpg the prevailing winds of correctness, and the democrats make book on the war as nuisance.

Who is left?

Who is calling all this what it is?

What has never been before?

A world wide religious war.

Who will identify this to all and plan for the steps needed to win, and not kill everyone while doing it?

And be unafraid to use the words required, tomorrow and in 5 years, or 15?
