The Freedom Of The Internet To End In 2012 - A Great Way To Get The Message Out

From Up Pompeii:

"I dare you to click on my boobs."

What can we do? Join the movement.

The reason why we're releasing this information is because we believe we can stop it. More awareness means more mainstream media shedding light on it, more political interest and more pressure on the ISP's to keep the Internet an open free space. We started this social network as a platform for Internet activism where we can join forces, share ideas and organize any form of protest that may have an impact. If we want to make a difference in this, we have to join together and stand united as one powerful voice against it.

Pastorius,

On WC's post,
"It Begins - The Shutdown of the Free Internet by 2012"

I asked in the comment section,
"The biggest problem is, how do we stop this?"

Is this your response to my question?

The answer to your question is the same answer we must arrive at fr everything else that is going wrong with this war against Islamofascism.

We can continue to blog as we are doing, produce Vlogs and radio shows like those on BTR but without a war chest to create a MSM outlet that's a 1000 times better than Fox to get the word out, year by year, month by month, week by week, day by day and hour by hour, we will have to either use what we have or wait for the inevitable or possibly the hopeless - the awakening of enough of the sleeping masses that they see what's happening as a threat to them personally.

As I have said before, it took over 30 years for the general public to wake up to the THREAT of illegal immigration and, for the most part, shirking of the MSM bullshit about the problem and the inaction of political leaders. Only now do they see the threat but still have no agreement on how to deal with it.

The same for Islamofascism. We are not there yet. The masses are only beginning to smell something stinky in Denmark.

WC,

Its interesting that you mention Denmark, since they have it even worse than we do. By the way, I just became a member of I Power, the group that made this video.

A Free Internet is worthwhile from a Free Trade standpoint.

The more freedom there is, the more people will use the internet. The more they use it, the more that can be charged for "eyeballs" in advertising.

One story that came out in the past few days says that ISP's intend to start charging for bandwidth. I believe they intend to do so, but only as a means of negotiating with TV and Film providors. In the not too distant future, a tremendous amount of money is going to be made on the internet by providors of TV and film on demand. The ISP's want a cut of that. The TV and Film providors want us all to have cheap internet access.

It's a negotiating thing.

Likewise, I doubt what W.C. and I are posting here will actually come about.

Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, Blogger, Typepad, WordPress and a whole host of other "social networking sites" provide a tremendous amount of "eyeballs", which once again can generate a lot of ad revenue.

I think it is important to keep abreast of these developments/threats, but my stomach is not knotted up over them, as it is over the Jihad.

I was tempted to send you this story a few weeks ago but I wasn't sure if it was appropriate or not. In retrospect it obviously is. Disturbing but true, also a part of a general, gradual undermining of our civil liberties....looks like 2012 is going to be a very busy year...

You know that many believe that the Maya long count calender predicts that the world will end on twenty twelve. 2012_dooms_day

I don't believe in such things, but none the less it is kind of symbolic, since that could be when the free internet ends. That will largely be the end of the way we know things to be.

Damien,
I've heard of the Mayan Apocalypse predictions.

The end of the world seems to be very popular these days.

Watcher,
Thanks for all that you do do for us.

No Pastorius. Thanks for all that YOU do for US.

Well then, thanks all the way around.

If only I could make videos like these guys here, with a babe like that.

Babes, Comedy, and Hard News go together well. That's what we need.

I'm gonna get to work on that.
