All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
Weird to say, but these two videos you have posted have convinced me that Mick Jagger is actually better than EVER.
He did not used to sing in tune in concerts, and he tended to sound winded and kind of hooted like a quarterback calling a play on the line.
His vocals now have almost the same subtlety in concert as they do on record.
Amazing.
How old is the dude?
By the way, I have a friend in the biz who tells me Mick does just as much blow as ever. Dude is constantly wired, and if I'm not mistaken he's drunk most of the time too.
God blessed that man in ways he has not blessed most of us. We'd be dead, he's singing like that pushing 70.
Pastorius, due tell, i am would be fascinated to hear the war stories.
As for this specific concert, let me tell you that it occured in Feb 2006, right after their appearance in the Super Bowl (Pitt vs. Seattle)
It was a free concert on Copacabana Beach (think South Beach but bigger), an area i know quite well, with the hottest women on the planet....
Well, it drew 1 million people, largest concert ever, and I was supposed to go as i had tickets to go to Sao Paulo that week, as well as Rio, on business. (coincided with the week of my b-day)
About a week before hand came down with a major gall stone attack and I was sidelined from not traveling, as i had to have surgery.
The Rio concert, is frankly, one of the greates concerts from the Stones i have ever seen (saw it bootlegged off of GloboVision), plus it was made into a cinema move, but shown for 1 night.
Later it was made part of a 4 DVD set of their last world tour, The Biggest Band! Spanned over 2 yrs.
I have seen them over the years (too many to say) and saw them a few years before - I blew off Rio because of the crowds (I have friends there). But I NEVER, EVER, EVER saw Mick J. with a guitar. Ever.

He's 66. And yeah, we would be.
Even morefrightening is Keith Richards. How many oil changes has he had by now?
Yeah, the dude I know worked with the Stones on an album for several months. He said the partying NEVER let up.
