Secretary of StateHillary Clintonsaid on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday thatIranwill never achieve its goal of obtaining a nuclear weapon, declaring to Tehran: "Your pursuit is futile."
"What we want to do is to send a message to whoever is making these decisions, that if you're pursuing nuclear weapons for the purpose of intimidating, of projecting your power, we're not going to let that happen," Clinton said.
"First, we're going to do everything we can to prevent you from ever getting a nuclear weapon. But your pursuit is futile, because we will never let Iran — nuclear-armed, not nuclear-armed — it is something that we view with great concern, and that's why we're doing everything we can to prevent that from ever happening. ... We believe, as a matter of policy, it is unacceptable for Iran to have nuclear weapons."
If that is the case, Hilary, then you and President Obama are going about it the wrong way. The policy of the Obama Administration will not deter Iran from producing a nuclear weapon. Only force will stop Iran.

I think I have figured it out - those from the old Clinton administration are trying to "triangulate" but without Dick Morris there to guide the message, it just comes out like a big gob over overcooked spaghetti.
I guess Axelrod and company have no idea how to get anything done without just breaking kneecaps, and their kneecap-braking infrastructure is not fully operational yet.
Have you ever seen a more incoherent bunch? One day, it's "even when Iran gets a nuke," the next it's "no way they'll get a nuke," blah blah blah.
Almost as bad as Bush during the "Great job, Brownie" fiasco.
Even the most devout believers don't seem to want to follow this bunch down the drain.

Ro,
What was the "Great job, Brownie" fiasco?
Hillary has the kind of testicles that drop down into the scrotum for some serious side-to-side swinging action, but then immediately slip back up into abdomen.
In the middle of the Katrina disaster, Bush defended his head of Homeland Security (or was it FEMA? I don't remember) by saying, on TeeVee "great job, Brownie." An embarrassing exhibition of what seemed to be the absolute cluelessness of the administration to what was painfully obvious to anyone who was watching the N.O. debacle.
That was really the beginning of the end for Bush. The media pit bulls never, ever let go after that.
This Clintonian weirdness over the
weekend seems to spring from a similar cluelessness.
Too bad none of our media "watchdogs" seem interested in highlighting these inconsistencies.
