The Parallel Government
Of The Entire World
All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Infidel Babe Of The Week

IBA Quote of the Week.
The women I know who are struggling in this economy couldn’t be further from the fictional character of Julia, presented in Mr. Obama’s Web ad, “The Life of Julia,” a silly and embarrassing caricature based on the assumption that women look to government at every meaningful phase of their lives for help. . . . In an effort to win them back, Mr. Obama is trying too hard. He’s employing a tone that can come across as grating and even condescending. He really ought to drop it. Most women don’t want to be patted on the head or treated as wards of the state. --- Campbell Brown

"An Islamic regime must be serious in every field," explained Ayatollah Khomeini. "There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humour in Islam. There is no fun in Islam."

"I want to be very, very clear, however: I understand and agree with the analysis of the problem. There is an imminent threat. It manifested itself on 9/11. It's real and grave. It is as serious a threat as Stalinism and National Socialism were. Let's not pretend it isn't."

My favorite Miles Quintet ever, and yes that includes the one with Coltrane, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Cobb.
If I am not mistaken, Tony Williams was 17 when this was recorded.
How'd you like Dirty Day, MR?
Babba --
:)
Pasto -- I have it scheduled to post in a couple weeks :)
MR,
No actually I was saying that my favorite Miles Quintet ever is this one, with Ron Carter, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Tony Williams, and Miles himself.
That's the best Jazz ever, in my opinion.
Even Zawinul, Pastorius and the like never reached the heights the Miles mid-60's quintet reached.
Pastorius -- no no. I mean I have Dirty Day scheduled to post. On what would have been my dad's birthday.
I understood the quintet comment.
Oh, cool.
Yeah, I've been thinking about my Dad a lot lately.
I'm like him more so now that they've put him in the ground ...
