Vancouver 2010 Olympics and Canadian Beaver: Non-Islamic and Hugely Olympian

Some Canadian guys are so non-Islamic that I like being here. That would be because the women are mostly non-Islamic too. They all have some pretty good local traits that I take a liking to. Like sports. Indoor, outdoor, in the change-room at the sporting goods store where...

Whoops.

So, given that the Olympics are here in days, here's to Canadian sporting:

Man, I saw an awful lot of Burqas when I was in Vancouver.

I didn't drink any Molson or chase any beaver, unfortunately. I was only there for a day.

Lots of burqas in Vancouver, eh? Well they're only in the little leagues of Islamization compared to Toronto.

Toronto has twice as many Muslims per capita as Vancouver does (5.5% to 2.7%) and five times as many overall (about 250,000 to 50,000).

And these stats are from 2001, so the raw numbers and percentages are far, far higher today thanks to mass Muslim immigration and high birth rates.

Toronto is almost certainly the most Islamified city in the Western Hemisphere, with tens of thousands of Muslimas wearing headscarves and thousands more wearing the full burqa.

So if you think Vancouver is a burqa-friendly town, not compared to Toronto it's not.

I was in Vancouver in 2002. To my recollection, that was the first time I had ever seen women in burqas, other than on TV or internet.

It was a shock, to say the least.

Since 9/11, the Muslims in the area I live in (Socal) have become more radicalized, and I see burqas and hijabs with consistency.

Maybe it was the shock of the new that convinced me Vancouver was so bad.

It could also be that I merely got lost in the wrong neighborhood, which I did.

I am pro-beaver. Nobody ever accused me of being anything but.

However, after the little rodent has been living in a black tent/burqa in the heat of the sun, doesn't it die? I've been to the the Middle East and to the grocery store (there is a mosque between me and the super market here in the USA) and in each case, it smells as if something died a long time ago and is rotting in the tent.

Vancouver is hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics in the comming weeks, and to date we are swamped with "security," i.e. police with bad attitudes toward the locals. It's an Olympian struggle to get across town on foot to the library. for this we have to thank not only jihadis, and there might be an attack here because of the publicity they'd gain, but we face a serious threat from our very own Left.

The jihadis might attack the city. Its possible, an the police are out in force to do not much about it. But they are really out in force to put a damper on the Leftists who are making threats non-stop for the past year. For the Left, rioting and destroying is all fun and games. You can imagine what they do with beer bottles.

Amahdinijad's threat coincides with the opening of the Vancouver Olympics - no?

Pastorius said...

Not quite.

Ahmadinejad's threat is for Thursday, Feb. 11.

The Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics are the final day.
