OK, Mahmoud, it's the 11th? So what is it? SPACE MICE PARADE?

Why would these people, who believe god is busy weakening us for their pleasure, promise so much and deliver only a mention that the first batch of enriched uranium at 20% is done, amid parades celebrating,....what?

Chadors?

A coming collapse THERE?

Maybe they are hoping Bibi will have a stroke also.

Anyone watching the well at Jamkaram?

Things are getting ugly in Tehran. See Blogs:

Tehran
Helicopters flying very low just north of Azadi Square.
Very large crowd, mix of Basijis and protesters, near University Street, close to Tehran University.
Despite massive security presence, pockets of protesters holding green ribbons and other distinctive signs have amassed on the north and west sides of Azadi Square and their number is growing.

Several sources report that there are clashes in Aryashahr, near Second Sadeghiyeh Square. Tear gas is being employed.
ePersian radio's reporter: Karroubi arrived at Second Sadeghiyeh Square. He was attacked physically. He got back in his Peugeot 405 and drove away. The car's windows were smashed.

Possible answer: To distract attention away from the expected uprising against the Revolutionary Regime on their cherished anniversary.

Persian Freedom protesters vs. Basij . . .round 2

These guys will ultimately kill protesters without a glance back ..jut as they will pursue nukes and nothing will stop them.

After all they are protecting the revolution.

Reminds me of Barzini ..."After all, we are not communists"

My wife was at a baby shower last night that ran quite late. She called me just past midnight and I could tell she was fishing for a ride home even though I hadn't started the old truck in over a month. I'll be right there, I said, don't drive, we'll get the car in the morning.

I waited outside for about twenty minutes, and then walked up to the house and rang the bell. My wife answered the door right away and announced with a goofy grin, I'm rrready.

I loaded her into the passenger side, asked if she had her car keys, and then fired up the truck, which thankfully didn't backfire as it tends to do.

She twisted sideways in her seat and reclined against the passenger side door staring oddly at me as I drove. As we passed the lake she suddenly asked if I wouldn't mind driving down to the boat launch for a minute.

We're almost home, can't you wait just a few more minutes? How much did you have to drink anyway?

She just shrugged.

I stopped at the top of the boat ramp and after a few moments of her just sitting there, I said: What, do I have to help you out to pee as well? She just smiled.

A the next moment she was over on my side of the cab fumbling awkwardly with my fly.

What the hell did you have to drink, I stuttered?

Totally wicked punch, she mumbled.

And indeed it must have been. In fact, I'd be on my way back to retrieve her car this very moment if my legs weren't still shaking from what truly was a really harsh blow.
