The Parallel Government
Of The Entire World
All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Infidel Babe Of The Week

IBA Quote of the Week.
All across the ME we see protesters proclaiming "We want freedom!". Blood is spilled, people die, then another brutal dictatorship under Islam, takes over. One by one, the ME has been taken over by brutal islamic dictatorships, that these so-called "freedom fighters" wanted. The current "fight for freedom" is in Syria. These people need to find a new word to describe what they really want. Freedom just ain't cutting it. --- IBA Contributor, Christine

"An Islamic regime must be serious in every field," explained Ayatollah Khomeini. "There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humour in Islam. There is no fun in Islam."

"I want to be very, very clear, however: I understand and agree with the analysis of the problem. There is an imminent threat. It manifested itself on 9/11. It's real and grave. It is as serious a threat as Stalinism and National Socialism were. Let's not pretend it isn't."

You know what's funny about Albinoni's Adagio (one of my favorite pieces of music)?
It's a ripoff of Rodgigo's Concierto de Aranjuez.
And, I never hear anyone comment on that.
Oh, and by the way, another funny thing about Albinoni's Adagio is, it wasn't composed by Albinoni.
From Wiki:
"The Albinoni Adagio in G minor is a 1958 composition entirely composed by Remo Giazotto, which Giazotto claimed to have based on fragments from a slow movement of an Albinoni trio sonata he had been sent by the Dresden State Library."
I thought I'd better add that, or you might have remarked, "Pastorius, Albinoni was before Rodrigo.
I didn't know about Rodrigo, I did know about Giazotto which is why I credited both.
Got snowmageddon going on. 16 inches on top of the 18 we had and we're only 1/2 way through. Blowing & drifitng. Reading has declared it's first snow emergency ever. The county has shut down. Nothing moving. Lots of shovel work.
Thank heaven's I still lift weights. . .
I have Gilbert Kaplan conducting the London Symphony Orchestra of the adagietto from Symphony #5:
Sehr Langsam, s.p. 175; Fliessend, 177; and Molto Ritenuto, 178.
I think of a nice bottle of chianti, a table set for jihadi, pliers, a butane torch, and fava beans. A lovely evening.
MR,
You're a victim of Global Warming. You could probably sue some corporations and win big money.
Right! Who does Al Bore work for?
I love this piece.
I watched Welcome To Sarajevo last night. This piece figures prominently so I decided to put it up.
