I stumbled across this post looking for something else and LOVED listening..thanks so much. I'm an enormous BAND fan and realize I haven't posted one of theirs in a while....they do the best NIGHT THEY DROVE OLD DIXIE DOWN ever......plus, another 50 tunes that nobody does like they do, of course!
Man, talk about an example of amazing bass playing and what that adds to a band.
SUPER stuff. THANKS!

Hi Z.

This is from The Last Waltz DVD and the concert of the CD
of the same name. It was their farewell concert at Winterland in 1978.

If you go back over the last few weeks I have the entire concert (ok, 90%) that was available posted night by night OR the whole thing all at once here.

It is awesome stuff, especially if you're a fan of The Band. All the great stuff -- Dixie Down, The Shape I'm In, Cripple Creek. an absolutely amazing version of The Weight and so much elseers. One you start watching you'll lose a couple hours of your day :)

Enjoy!
