All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

For any here who are interested...
At my site, I've put up another post about my husband's stroke recovery: "Shopping Adventures With Mr. AOW."
Guaranteed to make you smile!
No wonder I don't have much time to post or comment here at IBA.
"You see, this particular store is located in an elite area where many lawyers live and shop, and the customer can do no wrong."
Love that line! I use the push chairs with the basket on front for mom. She can't even begin to operate the motorized chair cart. We've tried, years ago when she had more going on, cognitively speaking. When there are no push chairs available, I'll put her in the motorized carts, but have to bend over her to steer it and make it go. Shopping IS a big challenge. But at least mom can walk to the store front with her cane, so that saves me a trip back to the car with the wheelchair. Still she has mood swings and will tell me suddenly that she wants to go home. She also comments LOUDLY on anyone obese or freaky looking to her. I've got a respite worker coming in three afternoons a week now, so I try to go shopping then. And on the rare occassion that I need just a few things badly, I will slip out of the house after I've put her to sleep at night and run to the store, which is not a safe thing to do, but ....
I've thought of you recently when I'm dealing with my 5'3" mother and wonder how you do it with a big man? Strength to you, Mrs. AOW.
