This is my take on the VP. He realized he is on the wrong side of history, and has been trying to redeem himself helping the opposition, after having developed a silly, not very stable image. By saying that the Taliban is not our enemy he was making sure nobody would be taking him seriously from then on, and could speak his mind without raising too many brows in the administration. After that he forced Obama's hand in declaring his position for pro-gay marriage, which will cost him votes among African American voters. He said: Romney wants that we show him ours, let him show us his. This I take as opening the door to keep asking for the President's birth certificate. And now this glorious admission of how bad the middle class had it during these last four years while attacking the Reps. for not wanting to extend the tax cuts.
I tell you, Biden is our secret weapon!
