Vatican Sides With Hamas Terrorists, Invokes Blood Libel

Whore of Babylon

I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

From Sheikh Yer Mami
Shameful and unconscionable. Not a word about how Hamas launches attacks from civilian areas in order to provoke civilian casualties they can use for propaganda purposes. Not a word about how the Palestinian propaganda machine publishes faked footage of civilian deaths. Not a word about the indiscriminate rocket attacks against Israeli civilians. Not a word about how “Palestinians” celebrate the mass murders of Israeli civilians by passing out candy.
The Vatican has entered a very, very dark age.
“The Vatican on Gaza: Israel is a Baby-Killer,” by Giulio Meotti for Israel National News, November 21 (thanks to JW):
Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, President of the Vatican Council for Culture, commenting on the war between Israel and Hamas, delivered a severe attack on the Jewish people: “I think of the ‘massacre of the innocents’. Children are dying in Gaza, their mothers’ shouts is a perennial cry, a universal cry”.

It seems to me the world is getting worse morally, and the Church seems to be the last place you can find people who recognize the problems.

The Church is very involved in trying to be hip these days.

I have no patience for these types of Christians.

I don't remember the Church as a whole standing up against any kind of evil. Its usually individual Christian groups, or mini-churches, that take a stand for good.

The Catholic church hasn't changed much. They want to politically align themselves with what they see as the eventual victor in all of this: the muzzies. They did the same during the Nazi era, either sat on the sidelines or celebrated Hitler's birthday.

Nico,
I think you're correct about that.

I tend to rail against "the Church", but really only mean "my experience with Christians here in Souther California".

What I find is Christians who are essentially Leftists. They do some very good working feeding the poor and helping people get their lives situated and focused on educating their children. But they buy into the Leftist agenda, and in the long run, I think they are doing as much harm as they are doing good.

The thing is, on an individual level they are doing good.

The harm they are doing is to the system of the nation which supports and protects them.

Of course, as Christians, they have no respect for that because they believe they are "above politics".

Do you get what I am saying?

It's a very odd culture here. It might not translate to your experience.

Overall, let me say this, there are no Christian groups that I know of who support Israel, except "United We Stand", and they are a supra-group, functioning outside of Churches.

I know exactly what you're saying. I've had plenty of experience with leftist Christians. In fact a lot of the Christians I have come in contact with over the last 9 years have either been pro Arab, or outright anti Israel.

Christians think that the Church has replaced Israel and that every good reference to Israel in the Bible actually applies to Christians.

I reject that notion. This theology was a result of anti Semitic rhetoric from the time of Augustine onward. When it comes to Christians, yeah they do a lot of good things, but I think the apple has fallen far from the tree seeing that Jesus was Jewish and his teachings were not only Jewish but his teaching style was that of the Talmudic Rabbis.

Christians pretend to be above politics but what I have noticed is that they are politically left leaning. And politically anti Israel. And also anti American.

I wonder how you figured it out when most don't.

Amazing.

Which part?

The political leanings of Christians? Isn't it obvious?

That idea that the Church replaces Israel is very popular in the Christian community.

It would seem most people believe that.

How did you come to a different conclusion?
