The Fallacy of ‘the War’ ending

 We are withdrawing from Afghanistan during this year and next, and by the next presidential election we will be done there. 

After the Soviets withdrew in 1989, after we helped Massoud and the Northern Alliance with direct aid, and freely giving half our aid to our ‘allies’ in the ISI, who in turn “Ugly Americaned’ it to the Salafi freaks because THEY represented Pakistan’s interest (how do you like it now?) we saw by 1992 that the various fighting parties there who had ejected the the USSR were in a civil war.

We withdrew. By 1996 the Taliban won and between then and 200 sent delegation to Congress. By 1996 Bin Laden was there.

Now LEAN FORWARD to 2014.

We are being told by the president, by his SecState, by his SecDef, by innumerable spokespeople that we HAD to release the Taliban 5 ANYWAY because that’s what you do at the end of wars.

END OF WARS?

Show me a treaty with the Taliban by which they agree they will be responsible for any attack launched on Americans anywhere by those salafis, or whatever PROTECTED there or face American REPRISE AS A NATION.

That MIGHT qualify as COVER for calling what is coming an end to war requiring a prisoner swap.

Let’s understand this disgusting outright LIE the administration is promulgating that the war is coming to and end.

It’s the same end to war we would have faced in Spring 1942 if we just left the Philippines, Guam, and Wake, But the Japanese would STILL be doing what they were doing. Imagine FDR telling the people the war was over.

And the Taliban, the Salafi goons, Al Qaeda, Zawalhiri and these five, will still be doing what they do on Jan 20, 2017.

Remember this as every talking head appears on TV saying this. Remember their names. It is one thing to have a difference of opinion, it is another to gag up ideas for political gain which will CERTAINLY aid religiously based attacks on American CIVILIANS (probably HERE) in the future (unless you believe an electronic police state can detect and stop everything …but maybe you have heard of cash and couriers?)

Frankly, I don’t care that much about Afghanistan except certain Afghans have proven if we ignore them, THEY KILL US AT 830AM sipping coffee at our desks, and then PROTECT the people who think up these ACTS OF WAR. They have PROVEN THIS.

It’s a fact.

The people who do this are still around. Mullah Omar, still around. KSM, still around (to be released a ‘the end of the war’?), Zawalhiri, still around. The money and backing for these cretins is not only still there but WILL FEEL after we ‘end the war’ that they have taken our measure AS A PEOPLE, and driven us off.

We will be done with the war.

Americans in the Armed Forces will not be fighting in Afghanistan..

Can anyone guess what set of  conditions this is?

Is the war ended?
