Dittos Pasto. Living in Charleston SC I've witnessed this first hand over the last month. It's a really shitty experience when your community goes under the media microscope and becomes a magnet for pushers of every malevolent agenda. I can't count the number of things the national media got wrong or simply omitted to present the nation with seriously distorted picture.
I get it now about the folks who can't wait for a new Yugoslavia. Most of these idiots will be destroyed if their dreams come true but they will take a lot of good folks with them. It is really looking bad right now.
I guess mankind just has this will to self-destruction, and it manifests itself on a Civilizational level every once in awhile.
