'Pitiless' or 'Pitiful'?

TWO NEWS ITEMS:

The President of France had vowed a "pitiless response" to the terrorist attack by radical Islam in Paris.

One of the terrorists was on the French terrorist 'watch list'.

If France doesn't AT LEAST do this then the President's response will be more pitiful than pitiless.

If those on the watch list are not citizens - deport them immediately.

If they are citizens - arrest them.

France claims they are at WAR. This is what you do with 5th columnists during a war.

If they are citizens - arrest them.

And try them for treason and bring swift justice by killing them.

There can be no other solution to this problem.

What do "homegrown terrorists" have to fear right now? Cosy prisons with three course meals, all taken care of by the very people who they intended to murder?

Yeah eff that. Kill them all.

France should invoke NATO's Article 5 and demand, not request, that other NATO members join it in cleaning out ISIS's nest in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Turkey.

I agree with Nico. Arresting them is not enough. They need to be put to death.

That is how war is done.

Amusing little incident on the France/Belgium border.Brother of the one suicide bomber ans a load of buddies was stopped at the border, the police were somewhat weary when seeing a car full of jihadis and kalashnikovs but since they did not have full information they let them carry on.

That really happened?
