HATE preacher Abu Hamza yesterday launched a new bid to keep his British passport in a legal battle that has so far cost £1.4million.
Hamza is fighting attempts to strip him of his citizenship arguing it is a breach of his human rights.
The hook-handed cleric says that he has been disowned by his native Egypt and that taking away his British passport would leave him “stateless”.
Hamza, 52, is in high-security Belmarsh prison, south London, where he is fighting an attempt by the Home Office to extradite him to the US where he is wanted on terror charges.
The cleric’s legal battle has run for more than six years. Legal experts predict the final bill will top £2million. The latest court hearing got underway yesterday at the Special Immigration Appeals Commission in central London. It is expected to last three days at a cost of £120,000.
Hamza’s publicly funded legal team includes the eminent barrister, Ed Fitzgerald, QC, whose previous clients included child killers Myra Hindley and Jon Venables. The Labour council leader, Lutfur Rahman, squirmingly refuses to deny that he was elected to his job with the IFE’s help. Several key officials and councillors are closely linked to the IFE. Various organisations controlled by the IFE, including a youth group called the Osmani Trust, have been given enormous amounts of council money.
The Osmani Trust, run by leading figures in the IFE, is a recent merger of two IFE youth organisations, Blyda and Elite Youth. Part of its purpose, according to critics, is to take vulnerable young people off the streets and imbue them with the values of the IFE.
The man in charge of its project working with local gang members, Muhammad Rabbani, is the same person who trains young IFE recruits. Last year, he told them: “Our goal is to create the True Believer, to then mobilise these believers into an organised force for change who will carry out dawah [preaching], hisbah [enforcement of Islamic law, eg Sharia law] and jihad. This will lead to social change and iqamatud-Deen [an Islamic social, economic and political order.]… We have to bear in mind that victory is for Islam and Muslims.”
Despite the exposure of all this, the council’s cabinet brazenly decided on April 7 to hand another £500,000 to the Osmani Trust.
Peers in the House of Lords have warned that the Government is “disturbingly complacent” about the operation of Islamic Sharia law in the UK.
They were not convinced by the Government’s assurance that application of Sharia law by the Muslim Arbitration Tribunal remains subject to English law.
Five Islamic courts are thought to be operating in Britain under the 1996 Arbitration Act. They are permitted to rule on business, financial and family disputes.
Their decisions are rubber stamped by British courts.
Orthodox Jewish Beth Din courts also operate this way, but lawyers and civil rights campaigners have always been sceptical of the status of women in Sharia disputes.
Last year Dr David Green, the Director of the Civitas think tank, said: “I think there are a number of problems with regards to Sharia law.
“These Sharia councils are supposed to operate under the Arbitration Act which allows citizens in a free society to settle their disputes on a voluntary basis if they so wish.
“But that legislation assumes that both parts are regarded as being equal. I think the problem is with tribunals like these you can’t always be sure that women would be treated equally.”
SHARIA IS COMING TO BRITAIN UNLESS THE BRITISH TAKE A MUCH TOUGHER STANCE ON IMIGRATION, ASSIMILATION, AND UNLESS BRITS START HAVING BABIES AND GOING TO CHURCH.
A few days ago the Daily Mail ran a story entitled "Extremists behind anti-war protest driven off the streets by moderate Muslims," about how a group of moderate Muslims in the UK town of Luton fought against the jihadists who had protested against British troops there. As with any tiny hint of Muslim resistance to the global jihad agenda over the last few years, their action was widely hailed as a sign that finally, finally, the Vast Majority of Peaceful Muslims was going to rise up and challenge the Tiny Minority of Extremists.
Observers were quick to jump to the conclusion that since these Muslims confronted Muslims who believe in jihad and Islamic supremacism, they must reject those things. And it looks good, initially: The Islamic Centre of Luton trumpets "Our Fight Against Extremism" on its website. Unfortunately, however, and unsurprisingly, the Islamic Centre of Luton, from which the people came who opposed the "extremists," turns out to be not so "moderate" after all.

When Allaah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) speaks about the destruction of Bani [Tribe] Israel after the second occurrence of corruption He uses the letter “faa” to imply that soon afterwards after their return to grandeur, their destruction shall come about. The faa indicates that it is a short, defined period of time wherein they shall gather in the Holy land and assemble uniformly so as to meet their demise together at the hands of the soldiers of Allaah from the ‘Ibaad ur-Rahmaan.
And here is a lovely piece defending Muhammad's statement that "women are deficient in intellect."

A few years ago I was an expert witness in a case against the Byron Union School District in California, where public school students had been made to memorize and recite prayers and portions of the Qur'an, and to make affirmations of Islamic faith in the course of answering test questions -- questions would be worded "True or False: Muhammad is the messenger of Allah," instead of "True or false: Muslims believe that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah." But the parents who brought the suit lost the case; the court ruled that it was all just role play, a recognized pedagogical tool, and consequently was nothing to be concerned about.
The same controversy appears to be playing out in this case: was the teaching mandating prayer to Allah, or just leading students in a role-playing game? Officials here again say it was the latter, but some parents aren't so sure. And if it was just role play, why was the teacher fired?

A teacher has been sacked after parents claimed that their children were forced to pray to Allah during a religious education lesson.Alison Phillips was accused of giving two pupils detention after they refused to kneel down and 'pray to Allah' during the class.
However, an investigation by the school concluded that there was no truth in the allegation.
Parents were outraged after stories emerged that the two boys, aged 11, were allegedly punished for not wanting to take part in a practical demonstration of how Allah is worshipped.
They said children should not be forced to take part in the exercise, which included wearing Muslim headgear, was a breach of their human rights.
But governors at Alsager High School, near Stoke-on-Trent, denied Mrs Phillips made pupils pray or that two boys were put into detention for refusing to do so.
The school suspended the teacher last July after receiving complaints and a lengthy disciplinary process was carried out.
A statement released on behalf of the school by Cheshire East Council said: 'It can be confirmed that following a long and rigorous disciplinary process, a member of staff at Alsager School has been dismissed from her post.
'The member of staff was suspended in July 2008 following parental complaints and newspaper reports relating to an RE lesson.
'In reaching this decision, the governing body wish to make very clear that they were completely satisfied that at no point did that member of staff make children pray to Allah or put boys in detention for refusing to do so.
'The RE lesson in question contains an element of role play which complies with acceptable practice.'
At the time of the alleged incident, one parent - Sharon Luinen, said: 'This isn't right, it's taking things too far.
'Being asked to pray to Allah, who isn't who they worship, is wrong and what got me is that came away thinking they were being disrespectful.'
Another parent, Karen Williams, said: 'I am absolutely furious and I don't find it acceptable.
'I haven't got a problem with them teaching my child other religions and a small amount of information doesn't do any harm.
'But not only did they have to pray, the teacher had gone into the class and asked them watch a short film and then said "we are now going out to pray to Allah".'
The grandfather of one of the pupils in the class added: 'It's absolutely disgusting, there's no other way of putting it.'
Parents had claimed that their children were made to bend down on their knees on prayer mats which the teacher had got out of her cupboard.

But, according to Osama Saeed, who leads the Scottish Islamic Foundation, Qaradawi is an “eminent scholar”. Saeed has complained that the BBC accurately reported Qaradawi’s relelant views of violence against women and homosexuals.
Oh, and did I mention that Saeed was last week formally endorsed as a parliamentary candidate for the nationalists in Scotland?
In doing so, the nationalists have become the first “mainstream” party in the United Kingdom to endorse an Islamist candidate.

Workers at Tyson Foods' poultry processing plant in Shelbyville will no longer have a paid day off on Labor Day, but will instead take the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr in the fall.
A recent press release from the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) stated that a new contract at the Shelbyville facility "implements a new holiday to accommodate the ... Muslim workers at the plant."
The RWDSU stated that "the five-year contract creates an additional paid holiday, Iidal Fitil, a Muslim holiday that occurs toward the end of Ramadan."
Eid al-Fitr falls on Oct. 1 this year.
Tyson's Director of Media Relations, Gary Mickelson, stated that while the new contract does not provide an additional holiday, as the union claimed, "the new contract includes eight paid holidays, which is the same number provided in the old contract."
"However, the union leadership did request and receive Eid al-Fitr (which is apparently spelled various ways including Id al-Fitr and Eid ul-Fitr) as a paid holiday in place of Labor Day," Mickelson confirmed in an e-mail to the T-G.
"Since all Team Members will still have eight paid holidays, the change will not affect production," Mickelson said.
Eid al-Fitr means "Festival of the Breaking of the Fast" in Arabic, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica, and marks the end of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting....
Just a short time after former British prime minister Tony Blair assumed the role of Middle East envoy, The Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center in Herzelia, Israel, considered to be the "public face of Israeli intelligence," issued a scathing report in which it accused Britain of being a "major source of publishing and distribution of Hamas incitement."I just don't see it changing anytime soon, and I don't see any reason to maintain political relations with Britain's government.
It condemned the British government for not stopping "the distribution of hateful propaganda against Israel and the West and publications glorifying suicide terrorism," adding that "British authorities have yet to take effective action to put an end to the exploitation of their country by Hamas for spreading incitement? that could strike a chord not only with Palestinian or Arab/Muslim target audiences worldwide but also with the Muslim community in Britain itself."
(IsraelNN.com) A special report by the government's Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center shows that Great Britain continues to serve as a center for publications of Hamas incitement. The report notes that despite the terrorism the British themselves have experienced of late, they are not preventing the use of their country as a center for the dissemination of publications that include incitement and hatred towards Israel and the west, and the encouragement of suicide terrorists.There's more at the link, including some photographs. The report's introduction states that the Hamas terrorist movement attributes great importance to the media, both written and electronic, as a major tool in its struggle against the West.

Although the headquarters of the Hamas media empire is found in Gaza, with guidance and help from Damascus and other Arab countries, it has a large branch in Great Britain, "which continues to be a center for the publication and dissemination of Hamas literature."

MI5 have said that they are following between 3 to 4000 terrorists, 200 networks and 30 actual plots to kill innocent British civilians.
It does not take Einstein to work out that there is a considerable threat facing the innocent people of Great Britain and the very future of this Nation.
