Usaamah Rahim, Jihadist Shot In Boston on June 2, 2015, Was Planning To Behead Pamela Geller

From CNN...

Boston shooting: Suspect plotted to behead Pamela Geller, sources say. Excerpt:
Geller drew national attention last month after an off-duty police officer working security thwarted an attack at her organization's contest for Prophet Mohammed drawings in Garland, Texas. She's president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, which includes subsidiary programs Stop Islamization of America and Stop Islamization of Nations.

"They targeted me for violating Sharia blasphemy laws. They mean to kill everyone who doesn't do their bidding and abide by their law voluntarily," Geller told CNN's Erin Burnett after learning of the alleged plot.

"This is a showdown for American freedom. Will we stand against this savagery or bow down to them and silence ourselves?"

Geller said that she's had an "army of security" since last month's Texas incident.

"This is what is required just to show a cartoon in America, 2015," she said. "It's striking. It's devastating, and people need to understand what's at stake. I mean, if we surrender on this point, what will we surrender next?"

URGENT! BREAKING! Shooting At AFDI/Jihad Watch Event In Garland, Texas

IS THIS PARIS/CHARLIE HEBDO HAPPENING IN TEXAS???

Tammy Swofford is at the scene, contacted AoW. Has since been forced (by authorities?) to hang upAOW here...I am updating as I am able to do so at the bottom of this blog post.

FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION EVENT APPARENTLY UNDER ATTACK IN TEXAS

Dallas Morning News:

Breaking: Gunfire reported at anti-Islam event at Garland ISD facility

A spokesman for Garland ISD has confirmed that gunfire was reported at an anti-Islam event at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland ISD.

Initial reports indicated that shots were heard outside the facility where an art show devoted to caricatures of Muhammad was being held.

WFAA-TV (Channel 8) has said an officer was involved in the shooting, and there are reports that SWAT officers had responded to the incident.

KXAS-TV (NBC5) says Garland police were still working to secure the area, and there were reports that officers had sealed the doors to the center.

Opponents had said the American Freedom Defense Initiative's Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest on Sunday would be an attack on Islam. But its organizers said they were simply exercising their right of expression.

The contest, which was offering a top prize of $10,000, has received about 350 entries depicting Muhammad. Caricatures of the Islamic prophet are considered offensive by many Muslims.

In January, a French newspaper that published such cartoons was attacked by terrorists and 12 people died.

As part of its contract with the district, the American Freedom Defense Initiative has paid $10,000 for extra security - nearly $50 for each of about 200 tickets that have been purchased so far. That cost doesn't include private security the group is employing.

AOW cutting in here: The bomb disposal unit has arrived; apparently, two devices were found. Those attending the event have been moved to a safe place and are under armed guard.

The explosive devices are believed to be in the parking lot where those attending the event are parked. Attendees are not allowed to go to their vehicles; buses are being brought in to take the attendees away from Curtis Culwell Center.

While waiting, the attendees are singing "God Bless America," "The Star-Spangled Banner," and other patriotic songs.

I got this information from Tammy Swofford, who is on the ground there and is attending the event.

AOW again...Heavy.com has this information.

midnight rider: per Pam Geller:

Two men with rifles and backpacks attacked police outside our event. A cop was shot; his injuries are not life-threatening, thank Gd. Please keep him in your prayers. The bomb squad has been called to the event site to investigate a backpack left at the event site

. -

AOW here...The lights have now gone off in the safe room. This information via Tammy Swofford, who is on the ground there.

She sent this picture

UPDATE - For some reason blogger is not posting our updates.

UPDATE FROM PASTORIUS - I have to wonder if the Police/authorities are trying to send this story down the rabbit hole by forcing our correspondent Tammy Swofford to turn off her phone and then corraling all attendees into a safe room, AND THEN TURNING OFF THE LIGHTS!

ANOTHER UPDATE - Jihad Watch's site is now inaccessible. It could be that there are too many people attempting to get their news there and the site crashed.

OR IT COULD BE THAT SOMEONE HAS ATTACKED THE SITE AND TAKEN IT DOWN -

IF THAT IS THE CASE, THE QUESTION IS, IS THIS A COORDINATED ATTACK?!?!?!?

UPDATE - GOOD NEWS - JIHAD WATCH IS BACK UP - PAMELA GELLER IS POSTING AT JIHAD WATCH BECAUSE ROBERT IS IN LOCKDOWN AT THE CARTOON CONTEST FACILITY.

UPDATE - At Fox News, commentator Harris Faulkner is getting worked up about this story. She is a conservative black lady, and she's hot, and she seems to cognizant that this is a big, big story.

MY QUESTION IS, HOW DO WE AS FREE PEOPLE LIVE WITH MUSLIMS WHEN THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE CRITICIZE THEIR RELIGION?

In a free society, all loci of power need to be criticized. It is part of our system of checks and balances. It is absolutely necessary that we be free to criticize all religions, businesses, academic insitutions and  government officials.

That is a necessary part of freedom.

If we are importing Muslims by the tens and hundreds of thousands, granting them political asylum, this is what we are going to get.

It is not that all Muslims are Jihadists. But a percentage of them are. Look in our sidebar under "Game Over". There are 10 posts there featuring statistics that will show you what percentage of Muslims in various countries around the world, including the West, hold anti-Freedom ideas.

That is the percentage we are dealing with.

and that is why this is happening.

We can not live with this. We can not abide it for one second.

midnight rider: Fox TV reporting a local Walmart has now been evacuated

UPDATE - This appears to be a Tweet from one of the attackers -

UPDATE - THE ATTACKERS HAVE BEEN KILLED

Pamela Geller's Web Site And Fox News Apologizes

Temporary site up HERE.

Read the details about the kind of attack that Atlas Shrugs sustained HERE.

Note the following:
...My site host, Media Temple, said they couldn’t cope with the attack against my site. They had never in their history seen anything like it. The DDoS attack didn’t just take down my site. It also took down Media Temple and threatened all of their clients, and even attacked the servers that Media Temple uses at Net Data Center, a service provider that promises “uninterrupted operations.” Net Data Center could not handle the massive traffic that the attackers were sending to my site to take it down, and finally had to pull the plug on Atlas Shrugs.

The timing was noteworthy. Our ads calling attention to Islamic Jew-hatred in San Francisco have gotten an immense amount of national and international press. And above all, our free speech rally last Saturday to counter the “Stand with the Prophet” anti-free speech conference in Garland, Texas, got the foes of freedom riled....
Meanwhile, have we all seen what Fox News has apologized for? See Fox News corrects, apologizes for ‘no-go zone’ remarks.

Jihad Watch Wins CPAC Award, Barred From Receiving It

Robert Spencer writes:
I was surprised and honored that Jihad Watch was among the nominees for the People's Choice Blog Award, sponsored by Right Wing News and TheTeaParty.net, to be awarded at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) 2013.

... Jihad Watch won decisively, getting over 50% of the vote in a field of fifteen....

But as time went by and no announcement was made of this victory, and the voting continued despite my having been told that it officially ended last Friday night and that I had won, and the promised links and other placement promised to the winning blog didn't materialize, I started to wonder. So I contacted the organizer who had written me telling me I won and asked him what was going on.

He told me that there was a slight problem: the Tea Party group, which co-sponsored this People's Choice Blog Award, didn't want to allow me to receive it at CPAC next week unless I promised not to criticize Grover Norquist and Suhail Khan as I accepted the award.

I told the organizer that I couldn't agree to that.
He asked me if I had planned to talk about Grover and Suhail. I said no, I hadn't, but I had to now.

So that's that. The People's Choice Blog Award is now the Grover's Choice Blog Award. I will not be going to CPAC and will not be receiving this award.

And since I will not be allowed to receive this award at CPAC, I will talk about Norquist and Khan here....
Read the rest HERE.

Pamela Geller has also been shut out of CPAC 2013.

We're back to the 9/10 mindset — and not only inside the Obama administration.

We are witnessing the further marginalization of the anti-jihad movement.

Prepare for the reaping of the whirlwind.

Pamela Geller on ABC's 'Up Close' Subway Ad debate

Must watch!

Pamela's words must be heard and heeded:

Tragically, until the truth appears in a mainstream-media blitz, only a few of us will hear and understand.

Instead, the mainstream media present the preacher's view, that is, the dhimmi's view.

American Thinker Reader’s Anti-Jihad Policy Suggestions for SION

On 9/16/12 American Thinker ran the article “A Plan to Stop the Islamization of the World is at Hand.”  This article heartily praised the organization Stop the Islamization of the World (SION) as the world’s leading anti-Jihad organization.  And it lauded the inaugural meeting of SION’s International Freedom of Speech Congress (IFSC) held on 9/11/12

However, it was argued that the IFDC would have more impact if their meetings supplemented the focus on speeches with policy formation. As such, my American Thinker article proposed 11 policy planks that the IFSC could consider.  After 175 comments many were revised, deleted and added. Here are the 21 policy ideas that we, the American Thinker community, think the IFSC should consider adopting as policy.

We believe the IFSC should:

1)   Stand for the immediate halt of immigration by Muslims into western nations.

2) Denounce the violation of any rights or the harassment of any peaceful Muslim citizens in the West.

3) Reclassify Islam from a religion to a political organization for the purposes of law.

4)   Call for an investigation into the CAIR and other Islamic advocacy groups under the Foreign Agent Registration Act.

5)  Undertake regular inventories of mosques in the West to look for pro-violence materials. Furthermore, we support surveillance of mosques where more than 5 % of the materials advocate violence.

6)  Close down any mosque which advocates Jihad.

7) Call for the immediate investigation into foreign mosque funding in the West. And, proposes to make foreign funding of mosques in non-Islamic nations illegal.

8) Oppose the use as spiritual mentors in prisons by any person associated with either mosques that advocate violence or terror affiliated organizations.

9) Initiate deportation hearings against non-citizens who promote Jihad in our nations.

10) Make clear that we oppose the cultural blindness of multiculturalism and are not racist, the IFDC promotes the words “culturism” (the opposite of multiculturalism) and “culturist.” Recognizing the importance of diversity, announce that we are a culturist movement, not a racist one.

11) Support culturist profiling at airports and in hiring practices when national security and public safety could be compromised.

12) Require curriculum to describe the violent tactics of Muhammad and the 1,400-year conflict between Islam and non-Islamic nations and peoples.  This curriculum should also be used in museums and memorials which touch upon the topic of Islam.

13) Make the foreign funding of Islamic Studies departments and faculty positions in our universities illegal.

14) Advocate that we not accept students from Islam dominated countries to enter into any fields of study which would endanger national security or be used to military purposes.

15) Adopt the policy of disproportionate response whenever our property or citizens are harmed.

16) Support a culturist foreign policy wherein we make decisions that take cultural affiliation into account.  We must side against Muslims who are ethnically cleansing Christians.

17) Call for a halt of foreign aid to Islamic nations.

18) Demand the revoking of UN resolution 16/18 and any other resolutions that might limit the freedom of speech.

19) Either lobby to have the UN to declare all Jihad a crime against humanity or totally withdraw from the UN and ask it to relocate to another nation.

20) Recommend that nations pursue a policy of energy independence with the aim of defunding Islamic expansion.

21) Prohibit the use of Sharia-based law or practices in any western court, nation, or any government functions in said nations.

The preceding suggestions do not represent the official policy of SION or the IFSC.  Neither do each of these policies represent the views of the forum moderator, John K. Press. We recognize that the leadership of IFSC will formulate policy on behalf of the IFSC.  And, if the IFSC formulates policies, we rank-and-file Jihad activists will ultimately enthusiastically support the final policy platform.  We hope that they do.

Dr. Press is the author of the book Culturism: A Word, A Value, Our Future.  He is also the inspiration behind the British political movement the National Culturists.

Breivik Fallout?

Maybe I'm interpreting THIS incorrectly.

Maybe not.

The word "imminent" in the letter below doesn't make sense in the Breivik context, but perhaps the hotel decided not to risk slander by using that particular word.

Excerpt about the Hutton Hotel's cancellation of the Preserving Freedom Conference [speaker list HERE]:
...[T]he Hutton Hotel has cancelled the function you had planned to occur on November 11th at the hotel.

If you had made us aware at the outset of...the fact that at least two of your speakers have a history of enraging people to the point that violence has been imminent, we would not have accepted the booking....
Other factors may also be in play. See THIS at Jihad Watch.

Visit Robert Spencer's web site and Pamela Geller's web site for additional information and updates as to any new venue for the conference.

Why is Culturist John Such a Jerk??

Pamela Geller asked that people bring flags rather than political signs to her 9 - 11 protest against the Ground Zero mosque.  In fact, she originally said she'd confiscate anything other than flags.  Furthermore, she said terrible things about the August 22nd Anti-Mosque rally at Ground Zero.  And, I want to bring a sign that says, "Stopping Sharia in America is Culturist not Racist."

I respect Pamela.  She is a relentless anti-Jihadist and I have seen her at a million rallies.  But at none of those events were we in the audience told what to say.  I have a gut reaction against all who would stifle the voice of the public.  But respecting Pamela, I assume there must be some good served by not letting the people vent their spleen as they see fit.

If I get it, Pamela argues that it is more sensitive to 9 - 11 families to bring flags.  I think crowds battling the enemy head-on with signs that say "No Sharia Here" will do more to lift 9 - 11 families' feelings than indulging in vague patriotic platitudes.  To me, identifying the enemy and saying "never again" respects the victims.  I know at least some 9 - 11 families feel the same way.

So when Pamela's people ask me to put away my sign, should I?  Is there something I am missing?  Am I being a jerk?  I think this rally should represent the same defiance of Sharia than all the others.  Perhaps that defiance will come from the speakers.  Perhaps there is strategic point I am missing.  I plan on bringing my sign.  Should I?  Would my bringing a sign prove that I am a big jerk?

Ron Paul, Pamela Geller and Culturism at CPAC

At CPAC three positions on Islam were apparent. One was represented by Pamela Geller’s “Freedom Defense Initiative” conference. The second came from the Ron Paul followers. And the third appeared in the conference’s otherwise deafening silence on Islam. Culturism has a lot to say about all three positions.

Ron Paul’s followers believe that Islamic terrorist attacks result from our overbearing presence in the Middle East. Therefore, they recommend pulling our troops out of that region. As a culturist, I agree that we should not be nation building in Iraq and Afghanistan. As a culturist I believe the project of turning these nations into progressive democracies with respect for individual rights will fail because their cultures will not support such changes. And I agree with Ron Paul’s argument for disengagement based on our inability to afford these nation-building enterprises. Western culturists know that if the West is not solvent our values will die globally.

But none of Paul’s followers could explain why the Jihad in Thailand and India exist. Neither nation has military bases outside of their own borders. As multiculturalists do, the followers of Paul fail to appreciate that diversity is real and important. Diversity is not just about food, festivals, and fashion. Some cultures drop out of school early and think teen pregnancy is not so bad. Other cultures think our way of life is a blasphemous affront to God. Diversity is real and important. Overlooking the cultural aspects of Jihad will not safeguard us.

Geller’s event explained domestic Jihad initiatives. Whereas Paul could not believe that an aggressive Islam for Islam’s sake exists, Geller’s speakers clearly showed that it can and does exist. As a culturist, I agreed with their domestic solution. We need culturist profiling at airports. We need to limit Islamic immigration. That is not, by the way, racist - it is culturist. And, we need to recognize that western cultural practices and laws are the norm and standard in western nations. We should not recognize Sharia courts or allow, for example, veils in photo Identification. Unlike multiculturalists, culturists recognize that the West has a culture to protect and promote. Domestically Geller’s group was very culturist.

Culturism and Geller diverge on foreign policy. Culturism believes in national cultural sovereignty. Allen West said we should seek to defeat Islam, not Muslims. I am unclear how the two are to be separated. Quoting Ronald Reagan, he said victory means “we win, they lose.” That statement holds too little nuance for me. We all agree on bombing Iran’s nuclear sites and being aggressive in regions of Afghanistan that harbor terrorist. But culturists do not believe we will convert Islamic nations by the sword. If we want the sovereignty to pursue culturist policies domestically, we must also grant that right to other nations. We are not the world. We are the West. The idea that we will convert Islam nations by the sword is, as Ron Paul says, a dangerous proposition we cannot afford.

At CPAC the third position on Islam, and the largest, was overwhelming silence. Outside of Ron Paul’s “Why real conservatives don’t support the war on terror” meeting and Geller’s event, few deemed Islam worth discussing. Ron Paul at least wants to debate our presence in Iraq and Afghanistan. And Geller schooled the conference on domestic threats. We conservatives, as Americans and as Westerners, need to accept culturist position that our culture is not that of the world. Diversity exists internationally. Furthermore, we must shake off the multicultural position that the West has no core culture to protect. Geller and Paul have done us a great service in making conservatives think about the West’s relationship to Islam.

UK: Jewish Collaborators in England in the War Against the Jews

From Jamie Glazov at Front Page Magazine:

FP: Pamela Geller, welcome to Frontpage Interview.

The organization SIOE (Stop the Islamization of Europe) held a demonstration recently in Harrow, England. Tell us what happened and what it signified.

Geller: Thanks Jamie.

Last week, on December 13, Stop the Islamization of Europe (SIOE) held a protest rally in what can only be described as an Islamic fortress in the heart of Harrow, England. I strongly urged Jews to attend.

We are all aware of Islamic anti-Semitism and the toxic danger it poses to Jews. The promise of Jewish genocide is made “sacred” by Islamic texts such as the one in which Muhammad says that the end times will not come until the Muslims kill the Jews, and the Jews hide behind trees, which then cry out, “O Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.”

The SIOE demonstration was against the building of a mosque there, and the larger issues of the advance of Sharia and Islamization in the United Kingdom. SIOE pointed out the words of the Prime Minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan: “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and Muslims our soldiers…”

Political parties, racist chanting, banners and placards, and totalitarian symbols such as Nazi swastikas, communist hammer and sickles, and the Islamic star and crescent were banned. The initial announcement of the demonstration asked those attending to bring one thousand Israeli flags, and said: “SIOE supports Israel’s right to defend itself against Islamist attempts to annihilate Jews.” The SIOE called on Jews living in London or within traveling distance of London to attend the demonstration, saying that:

“vile anti-Semitism is being preached in mosques across the world and almost certainly the one in your neighbourhood….Non-Jews are demonstrating on 13th December against the anti-Semitism being taught in mosques which goes unchallenged by politicians, the media and so-called ‘moderate’ Muslims. Jews cannot, in all conscience, leave it to non-Jews to protest on the behalf of Jews who are once again the world’s whipping boy.”

FP: And so Jews came out in full force?

Geller: No Jamie, they did not. The Community Security Trust (CST), a leading Jewish group in Britain, urged the Jewish community there not to support the demonstration. The CST said in a statement that it “has drawn attention to the Islamaphobic comments on SIOE’s website, and compared the group to the English Defence League, and the BNP’s Nick Griffin, who have attempted to gain support from Jews through pro-Israel and anti-Muslim statements…. A demonstration against Harrow mosque under the banner ‘Stop the Islamization of Europe,’ is as stupid and offensive as a demonstration against Harrow synagogue, under the banner ‘Stop the Zionization of Europe.’”

Once again leftist Jews were lying and deceiving to advance the aims of the enemies of Jews and Jewish life. Stephen Gash of SIOE responded: “I have stood several times in elections against the BNP and what they stand for. Equating synagogues to mosques is reprehensible in my view. When terrorists leave synagogues to blow up planes and tube trains then we at SIOE might reconsider our position. Until that happens we will continue to support Israel and the right of Jews to exist and to defend themselves.”

The Jewish Chronicle even went so far as to gloat when attendance was small. Did the Chronicle ask why so few people attended this demonstration in a town where the majority does not want this mosque? The majority knows what’s happening in their country and fear it. But the Chronicle did not restate the obvious – that people did not attend out of fear.

Did the Jewish Chronicle cover the Death to the Jews protests back in January? Does the Jewish Chronicle cover the ongoing jihad against the Jews? We know the answer.
